I was going to give Harry's razors a second chance after buying into a set months ago and nearly running out. I figured after so many complaints, Harry would have fixed the auto-break installed into the razor head and started manufacturing sharp razors instead of the chain saws I received.
Fortunately for me, Harry decided to administer the coup de grace by pulling one of the oldest marketing ploys since P. T. Barnum started his circus...
A set of 8 was advertised for $16.00 along with a coupon for $5.00 off. At checkout the payment read $16.00 before applying the coupon. When I entered the coupon code instead of the price decreasing to $11.00 it shot up to $21.00 then down to $16.00 again. That low-down trick took the cake for me.
Bottom Line: RUN, don't walk from Harry's Razors. There's a reason why they're cheaper than Gillette. Same reason you can get Hoverboards and Galaxy 7's at firestorm prices nowadays.
So, like so many others I sought an alternative to expensive multi-blade razors. Having seen many of the $1 shave club ads as well as at least as many for Harry's, I made the decision to give it a try. I took the big plunge and ordered the best kit with 16 replaceable razor heads. Shipping was quick and problem free. My face and beard hated me. The shaving gel and the aftershave gel were both great. However, the razors were dull. I've pulled hair from my face for over 3 months. I'm glad they are all gone, finally! If the blades are improved to the sharpness of Gillette Fusion then I'd go back. I liked the price much better but one can only endure so much abuse. Stay away!
Having used Harry's for over three years I am still impressed with the quality of their razors. The customer service is top notch, quickly responds to needs and is very conveniently flexible. Overall this is a 5 star enterprise.
Harry's products are the absolute best of their kind, in this or any other epoch. As one of the last surviving full-blooded Neanderthals, I use their products to shave my entire body, front and back, at least twice a day, especially in winter weather (although it does help cool me off in summer). I love being reminded of my long-gone pet mammoth (coincidentally also named "Harry"), so nostalgia is also appreciated. Keep up the good work, all ye ladies, gentleman and scientists, and hopefully we will all continue to survive. If I can do it, anybody can!

I am old enough to remember the days when getting gas at a gas station involved two or three people handling the task while one did the pumping, one checked the oil and the battery, and one washed the windows. Quite candidly, I had become accustomed to feeling that no such service exists any more - especially online. Then Harry's showed up, and bang! I felt as though I had been transported back to 1950. The products are great, but it is the support, the care, the understanding of my individual needs, that really knocks my socks off. Razors, hand soap, post-shave spray, to mention just a few, all have me permanently hooked to remaining a Harry's customer.
I've been using Harry's for 2 years and won't buy my shaving and grooming products anywhere else. Don't have to worry about shopping at Wal-Mart or Target, both of which are great spots to get mugged. Harry's times it perfectly.
Gillette is now more price competitive than you with zero dollars for scheduled delivery after specified purchases.
Your product is good value however the Canadian shipping charge is a bit cheeky.

I ordered these for my husband who was picking up a pack of Gillette razors every two weeks. Just one of Harry's blades lasts two weeks to a month if he shaves every other day.
They are "razor" sharp and seem to last forever. I shave his head and never worry about cutting him because they are made so well. Their delivery system is excellent too.
We took advantage of a 10 dollar offer in my email for a surprise gift and received a lovely razor befitting the quality of the blade. Much nicer than the basic one we ordered originally.
It seems other reviewers are leaving 1 star when in fact I see that they are raving about the product. I guess they don't quite know how it works. Regardless, I would give Harry's 10 stars if I could.
Half what I was paying at CVS for blades. Customer service is very attentive too. Had an order lost in mail and they resolved quickly (it showed up late due to no fault of Harry's and they had promised replacement if not needed.) Very happy
I started using Harry's a few years ago because I thought it would be convenient and less costly than using the national brands and I was absolutely right. This was long before one of the national brands (which I used to use) decided that men should wear dresses and be more like girls. I decided then that I would not buy that brand in the future and then realized that Harry's provided everything I needed. So, no skin off my nose if Brand G would prefer that men shave their legs as well as their faces. They don't need me for a customer and Harry's seems to actually appreciate my patronage. Everybody wins! Isn't that a nice thing, for a change? Besides, my Harry's razor handle is comfortable and stylishly understated and their blades are sharp, comfortable and get delivered to my mailbox on schedule. I like that.
I've been a customer of Harry's for a couple of years. I love the blades showing up automatically. They are very high quality, and the price is right! The products for men are really quite good. Some men, like myself, might shy away from buying lotions or creams... but, once you try it, you'll realize you've been missing out.
Anyway, try Harry's, they're great!

Not really much to say except that it is exactly as advertised. A good quality razor without the extremely high costs that are seen at standard retailers. Delivered directly to my mailbox and always given email advanced notice prior to arrival of the shipment.

Been a long time user of their razor blades, shampoo and bar soaps for several years, since they became available. Very satisfied with their products and continue to buy when needed. Convenient to have them on the automatic refill program. Even my wife occasionally "borrows" mine and considering her loyalty to her "products" that's high praise indeed!
The prices and ease at which you can order is one thing. But the product is fantastic and works flawlessly! How can anyone want to spend more of their hard-earned money for inferior products? It just doesn't get any easier, folks...

Harry's sells superior shaving products at prices lower than the big brands. I have used the shaving gel, blades, aftershave balm, and now the facial scrub. All are of excellent quality, in my opinion. It's easy to change what's in your order as well.
Started using Harry's products years ago, never looked back. I'm an old guy, so I now consider my shaving technique perfeced, but I need the right tools. I use Harry's razor, blades, shave wash, shave cream, and shave balm. I admire this business because the company has a giant-killer attitude and genuine concern for their customers. They have incrementally improved their blades twice during my time (that I noticed) and made them amazingly sharp and durable. They are half the price of the comparable performance blade from their giant competitors; you may think that is hard to believe, but it is true. Shaving is a pleasure (honest).
They have great products, excellent prices and the customer service in absolutely AMAZING! Really. It's hard to find businesses now days that seem to truly want to take care of their customers. Harry's is one of those few places. My husband loves the razors, I love them. They last well. I highly recommend

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.

Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
