I plan to share my experience of the concerning situation with Harley Davidson India on both social media platforms and the official Harley Davidson website. I intend to highlight the apparent fraudulent practices and delays in service that have affected my bike booking, aiming to inform others about my unfortunate experience. They have charged me Rs 5000 in july 2023 to deliver a bike in first slot but its end of Jan 2024 and now they are not responding me. I am sure they have charged this with many others. Its a clear fraud.
All I wanted is to purchase a used bike. Gm Jason said well Harley makes their money on new and we will price that for you. Sales person Jacob continue to walk away and deals with a grand school kid versus assisting customers with what they want. Finance manager tells customers we will look at costs after you go see Indian motorcycles.
Worthless group. Harley should pull their branding
I'm a life-long fan of Harley-Davidson but I feel like they've gotten to be too commercial in the last 10 years. I'd like to see the old Harley brought back again. No more of this baby boomer marketing BS.
In the last few months I have placed 3 orders for clothing from Harley Davidson. They had a really good sale on, 50%-60% off. I don't usually shop there as they are expensive. However the clothing i ordered arrived promptly, was very good quality and fit perfect. I understand why they have high prices, their clothes are very good quality. There website was very easy to use and to order from. Very good experience, particularly after getting screwed by Guinness ( see my other review). My only complaint is that after a few days I went back to order more and, although they still had the clothes listed, a lot of them were out of stock.
Need to do away with polymer guides and go to liquid cooled, its not 1936, get with the time's and make some hp and speed with all that noise! Also quit flooding the market with countless over priced bikes so that there worth five grand in two years! Also fly wheels tend to tweak a bit.
My beloved 08 Softail Deluxe was backed into at the end of April. My precious ride went into the shop on May 6th, 2023. They report my front fender won't ship until late September of 2023. It requires a special job and will then need to shipped from Syracuse, NY to Alpharetta, Ga for install. There was three months when my bike sat with no work being completed. The story is long and beyond frustrating. I recommend anyone thinking of buying a Harley to look at Indian Motorcycles first. Harley has no love or respect for their customers!
I ordered a pair of boots from Harley Davidson. They look so awesome on the website. Well they came yesterday and they were nothing like the picture. The website said 100%leather and were proudly made in the USA. Not even close. They were not leather but a cheap plastic. They say made in China on the inside. I thought Harley was an American company. Guess I was wrong.
I ordered parts from the Harley website and paid for next day shipping 4 1/2 days later they arrived and I can't get it no response from Harley Davidson on returning the overnight shipping fee I paid and did not receive. Be cautious
Heritage Hatley is the absolutely Worst place you can ever go! No one knows what theyre doing, no receptionist, to even help. Managers are never there., no communication from any department. Complete waste of time! Dont even make the trip...call ahead, no one will answer. Horrible place...
Not impressed at all. Quite the let down. Dont waste your valueable time.
I purchased a motorcycle and Kenny was the salesman. He found a great bike and contact me after it was looked over by the mechanics. Kenny is very knowledgeable about the motorcycles. And his expertise was really appreciated. While purching my bike everyone I had to see were so professional. The final meet was with Mary she help with a new Hemet and the teeshirts. I will be back to do business again.
I bought a brand new 2020 Heritage. It always ran poorly with a "tonk-tonk-tonk" sound in the engine. I had a Stage 2 upgrade installed on August 29,2023. After the Stage 2 I had oil spray coming out of the air box that sprayed all over the chrome side cover, seat and saddle bags. The dealership tried to fix the problem for a year and could not. They did discover an air valve in the rocker box that malfunctioned intermittently. They replace the bad air valve and the "tonk-tonk-tonk"engine noise was fixed. I suspect the air valve was falutly from the factory. The dealer who installed the Stage 2 could not fix the oil spray problem so I took it to another mechanic. He immediatly recognized it was the fault of Harley's faulty engine vent design.and fixed it. I learned that Harley now routes the engine vent hose to the oil bag in 2024 baggers. Harley needs to vent the engine vent hose to the oil bag in all models. Harley should recall all models that route the engine vent hose to the air box and retrofit them to route the engine vent hose to the oil bag. The Harley design that vents the engine vent hose to the air box was a cheap way to cut a corner. As a result of Harley's cheap, poor design, corner cutting we pay. My dealership had to do work that they did not get paid for. I had to pay $300 and a year of misery dealing with a bad design. The Harley factory would not tell their dealership how to fix the problem. In my opinion, Harley is more interested in cutting a corner to satisfy their share holders than they are in satisfying their dealerships or their customers. In my opinion, Harley "FEELS THE NEED FOR GREED" and we all pay for the corners they cut. Harley is going the same route as America in general. They put a higher premium on greedy profit than happy customers. In the long run Harley will lose money and customers with this business model. If a friend asked me what brand motorcycle he/she should consider, I would say "Yamaha" and walk away. Ride safe and live long.
Was given a delivery date of 3to 6 days of time of order. Now after order its 7 to 10 days. Customer service was useless. Never again. J P cycles delivers great.
So I just bout some parts from the local dealer and both times they did not come with the hardware to install them. I did have the hardware for one of the parts but when I asked for the hardware for the other parts they went and got the screws and then attempted to charge me 20 bucks for 4 tiny screws WTF HARLEY I THINK ITS TIME TO RETURN TO YAMMAHA! I paid 50 for the bracket which is a rip off and you see in the photo what I got the screws for when I told harley to pound sand
Hell yeah that boy keyber Garcia great $#*!ing sales men. Can sell ice to a polar bear and trees to a monkey very helpful when I needed it
On April 10,2023, my bike a 2015 Harley Road Glide was drop off at the Barnett Harley Davidson Shop in El Paso Texas. When the bike was drop off a payment had to be made of $50 for ESP (Extend Service Plan) for gasket kit. On April 14,2023 I received a call stating that there was motor damage, cause by fly wheel and oil pump.
The communication on how the process would work was terrible and I could not get any set answers, callbacks, or just plain updates. This led me to write a review on google on April 18,2023, speaking of my experience that I had so far.
On April 20,2023, when speaking with Pricilla, she advised me how her manager wasn't happy with the review and was very upset. She also made me aware that someone from Barnett called Harley ESP inspector with the intention of getting warranty void due to Cams that had nothing to do with fly wheel and oil pump.
After the call with Pricilla was completed, I then realize that this was a tactic of retaliation due to the google review that was done by myself. According to the "Consumer Review Fairness Act" which makes it illegal for companies to include standardized provisions that threaten or penalize people for posting honest reviews. Due to all the inconsistences over the past few days, I ensured that all communication with Barnett Haley Davidson were recorded. I listen to the record call again to confirm that this was truly retaliation due to the review that was made on April 14th. I made the decision it's best for me to just pick my bike up from Barnett Harley. My bike was picked up from their shop on April 22,2023.
