I find it ironic that a company which exploits Christmas for profit no longer provides any products for those who actually celebrate Christmas, as in Jesus' birth, not some holiday to just give gifts. Even in 2020 there are still a lot of Americans who celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. I received the 2020 "Holiday" ad and there was not one single product I could buy that had to do with a nativity, Jesus Christ, or anything to do with the actual biblical story. There was only secular items featured like snowmen, Harry Potter, and cartoon characters. I have no respect for a company who comprises former values for profit and political correctness. Hallmark is not what it used to be and I won't be shopping there again.
Hallmark.com return policy is terrible! They snail mail their return labels. I've been waiting on a return label since last month and still have yet to get it. To return $100 ornaments that don't come with a power cord. Not sure why hallmark doesn't email return labels like the rest of the businesses in the world?
I hate Hallmark. I used to work at their distribution center and they work you to death. The point system is not manageable whatsoever. I still have nightmares about working there. Plus my sister went on recently to a staffing agency that helped Hallmark and has worked her to being sick with a fever. Hallmark should completely go out of business or be shut down by better business bureau. U don't treat people like machines!
Very poor service, ordered a card and paid for 1st Class large letter, expected it to be delivered by next day or certainly the day after, 3 days and no delivery and now a day late, so complained only to be told Royal Mail 1st class states 1-3 days, on the 4th day it arrived and it's now no good to me so I requested a refund and told it's up to me to post back! The large letter postage envelope was twice as big as the card inside. I suggest you take a look at Moonpig or Funky Pigeon and learn how to do it properly.
I was looking for a birthday card for my mother today. 80% of the Hallmark cards were MADE IN CHINA. Seriously? Why would you support a country that is trying to take down democracy. I finally found a very basic card made in the USA. Very disappointed in this company. Take the lead and stop supporting dictatorships.
I love shopping at Hallmark online and at the stores. Some are franchises and others are individually owned so their discounts may not be same. They offer Rewards, bonus coupons, birthday coupons, and in-store printable coupons and even Free cards. During their Clearance sales and during some holidays they offer up to 50%-90% off! During covid season, they're offering Free Ship to Hallmark Reward members or Free pickup at your store. Shipping is quick and product is received within days. You can always find something unique, meaningful, and quality made at Hallmark.
Recently I went to the Shiloh, Illinois location. Been buying my cards from this store for years. I was seeking a 30 anniversary card for my son and daughter in law. Sales rep said sorry we are out. My next card was. 40th Wedding anniversary card for another family member. Same response, sorry we are out. While Hallmark cards keep going up in price, selections have declined. I can truly say this store is going in the wrong direction.
You have been portraying monkeys in a supposed comedic way for a long time, and children have been cruel to animals for a long time, and in some instances, extending to humans. In light of the mass killings by young people, it is imperative that the way animals are portrayed and treated must be completely and immediately changed. Thank you very much.
I had a 50 gift card to use and my order total was 94. They charged my credit card the whole 94 and kept my 50 gift card. They don't even have a customer service number that works. I have been trying to get someone to help for over a week
A week ago, my home page was running an add for Hallmark. Two plush animals for like 15.00. I ordered two, never got a confirmation. I go to their chat box, tell some person and showed them my order number. They sent a transcript of the conversation, but no confirmation. I try again and the person told me the item was sold, the day I ordered it, but no one told me this. It was for V-Day. Now i got nothing coming and its too late. So the customer rep(moron) says he back his products and service, that I had seen nothing like that. No service no products, guess he had LOW expectations! He thought the great solution was cancel the card too, so I would have nothing for my 43 year old wife. GREAT IDEA! It was like 2 to 3 days later then they said it would be, so sh got nothing. So this place ins in business for ruing people holidays, and thing nothing of it!
I was looking for the perfect card for my husband. I've never been appalled of the card that I was considering purchasing and I was reading it, it said what a good Black man you are. At that moment I knew I couldn't purchase it because my man isn't black. He isn't Hispanic, Asian or Indian descent! He is a great American man who happens to be Caucasian! He's a great husband that far exceeds anything I could've ever hoped for. He bleeds the same color as I, and I'm female! He bleeds the same color as an African american, Hispanic, Asian! It's amazing we live in the 20th century and the prejudice that is still ramped to this day! Can your company please not promote such segregation?
Kevin Horvath of Hallmark Cards is a crook and a scammer. The entire family is rotten to the core. Their son, Tyler Horvath, is running many fake websites impersonating real small businesses. The Horvaths are scammers stealing money from small businesses all over the country. They're one of the biggest scammers in all of America, and they've been located right here in the Midwest. Makes you wonder what other things they're doing on the side for dirty money. It wouldn't surprise me if the Horvaths are dealing drugs too. I hear from colleagues that the Horvaths have drug addictions, they smoke alot of illegal marijuana, they are alcoholics, and they have mental illnesses.
Spent more than an hour picking out $250 worth of cards. I called customer service because I could not get an additional card to go in my cart. The customer service rep was able to put the card in my cart, but the other 60 disappeared! She offered $5 to accommodate me. I was so annoyed. I didn't want $5. I wanted my cards! No concern for my wasted time. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO TECH SUPPORT! I will go to a store to buy cards from now on.
So I had 2 great coupons to use online. Ordered (for pick up) 3 cards and 2 rolls of gift wrap for a little over $7! Yay! Uhmmm - no - not "yay" - After the order was sent, Hallmark emails me saying 2 items aren't available and one is back ordered. So they cancelled 2 items and in doing so really messed up my coupons and I was being charged full price for the remainder of my order. I called Hallmark to cancel order. They said they couldn't do it b/c order had been submitted. (The email gave me a number to cancel my order!?) So they can cancel on me, but I can't cancel on them? I asked if they could give me my coupons back and they didn't. Tossed me a few points. BOTTOM LINE: Don't shop Hallmark online. They should have told me WHILE I WAS SHOPPING ONLINE - "This item is not available at your desired pick up location."
I am appalled at the lack of your Christmas cards that even mention Christ, Manger, the birth of our Lord and Savior, etc., etc. HUNDREDS of "Christmas" cards, yet I did not find a single one that had any mention of the birth of Christ. Quite pathetic!
While shopping from your phone or computer may be convenient, Hallmark.com has always ranked as one of my least favorite sites - but it is our last order finally prompted me to give it a negative review. Two of the cards in that order required special handling/postage - while the envelopes for them noted that they may require extra postage - it would have been nice to get that warning before we placed the order for those cards. Between being oversized and/or having stuff that stuck up off the face of the card, we incurred postage costs of nearly $2 each - given how expensive cards have gotten, we resent being blind sided by the extra postage and needing to go to the post office to purchase the appropriate postage.
That, combined with a kludgy website that lacks a user friendly compare cards option so you can compare which of two or three cards is most appropriate for the person/occasion that is being celebrated, helps earn the site a punitive 1 star rating. Heck they haven't integrated their rewards program into checkout - yes you can flip to your rewards but you have to copy and paste the rewards you want to use, 1 by 1 into the checkout process.
All in all it may be better than noting but it sure as heck isn't it the running for any customer friendly awards - the only thing it has going for it is that it is open at 11pm...
I worked as a retail merchandiser for this company in ohio. The supervisor was the most ungrateful dishonest person. The HR people were even worse. They lied about a supposed email that I never got. The supervisor had 40 plus accounts and only went to mine. She was focused on only me. Targeting me and bullying me. The HR people are liars. They don't care about the employees and will go as far as being deceitful to get what they want. Don't recommend this horrendous company to anyone. There are better things out there and more honest people. Wasted almost a year here that I will never get back.
I received the cards I'd ordered without any envelopes. I contacted Hallmark and asked them to send the. M missing envelopes. They replied that they can't send envelopes separately!
Process of having each item purchased separately and having to insure it was shipped to the store you wanted was time consuming, but was the cost of no shipping charges. Since I was ordering Star Wars Merchandise, I was at everybody's mercy (the cost of procrastination). Wasn't sure I would receive merchandise by Christmas, but it made it easily. I was very grateful. Was worth the effort, but since it is more than others demand of the purchaser, could only give 4 stars. Would return to make more purchases. A David
Hallmark Cards has a rating of 1.6 stars from 22 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Hallmark Cards ranks 52nd among Greeting Cards sites.
