I do not like Half Off Depot's refund policy. Groupon and Doubletake will refund your purchase if the vendor goes out of business when the voucher is till valid, Half Off Depot will only refund it during the first 90 days, regardless of the expiration date of the voucher. I had 3 vouchers that I purchased for a company that closed down and now I am out out of luck and the money. I will not buy from them again, I will wait for deals on Groupon who at least backs up their deals.

I bought a voucher for a local comedy club. The deal was not good for celebrity shows. When I went to make reservations, all the shows were celebrity shows! We couldn't even use the $60 voucher. So I wrote Half-Off Depot for help. I heard nothing for weeks, so I wrote again. I was reprimanded by them for writing again. They told me they were very busy. And I had marked my inquiry as high priority. Again, I waited. I went back to follow up on my ticket and it had disappeared completely. I filed a second ticket, having never gotten a reply to the first. After a couple of weeks, they wrote to tell me there was nothing they could do. The very worst customer service and they do not stand behind their deals. I'm out $60.

I bought a voucher for a home cleaning service a week ago through Half Off Depot.com. After purchasing the voucher, I tried to look up the cleaning service through the Better Business Bureau and it is not listed. I tried numerous variations of the company's name, and I even searched for ANY cleaning service in the city it was listed in.
I went to the company's website and there is no email listed, but they do have a place to send an email through the website... so I did that. I have not heard back. I then called the # listed on the voucher and the website, and I got a voicemail. I left a message and have not heard anything back.
I am starting to think I will never be able to use this voucher and I just wasted my time and money.

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! They advertise Everything 50% off of the already 50% discount! THEY ARE STEALING MONEY FROM YOU! Bought 2 vouchers- went to redeem them and it says I am unable to redeem these because I ALREADY redeemed them! What? I tried emailing the company (because there is NO phone number to call) and submitted my "ticket" and this has been over 3 months- have no merchandise, not so much as an email reply, and am out 60 bucks. UNBELIEVABLE!

Terrible customer service. I bought a product through Half-Off depot that was fulfilled by epacificmall.com

Purchased from Half-Off Depot on 8/14/2013 Order # *******

The product was defective and broke after 1 use. I emailed Half-off and they told me I needed to contact the product provider - epacificmall.com

I have emailed them 5 times and tried to contact them via their website 3 times. I got one response asking for the pictures I had already sent them showing the defect. I sent it once again with no response. It has been a month and they have failed to respond or take action with a replacement product or a refund, or even any acknowledgement.

I re-contacted Half-off depot 4 times, and they keep pointing me back to epacificmall. I feel they need to stand up to their vendors if they are not taking care of their customers since I'm sure my money was passed on, so they should at least be able to give me a refund.

Very disappointed in both websites. I do a lot of online shopping and use the daily deals frequently. I will not be using nor referring friends to either website in the future. DO NOT USE THESE WEBSITES!

Halfoffdepot bought nCrowd and I recently purchase stuff from nCrowd and to say they suck would be an understatement. I ordered 2 things; one arrived totally bent and the other never came. I emailed customer service and had several email back and forths and I'm still without one item and the bent item still hasn't been replaced and now they are referring me to their vendor. DON'T ORDER FROM THESE GUYS! They are terrible at sending what they sell and then are even worse about correcting the problem.

Terrible company, scammed me out of two vouchers I purchased - never sent me redemption instructions and actually had the nerve to CHANGE the expiration date on me from a year from the date I purchased to ONE MONTH from the date I purchased! When I sent them a support ticket about this they said "oh well, too bad. NO refunds." NICE! Total frauds and now I am out the money I paid and with no recourse.

Worst Company EVER!

REF: Case Tracking # U4PV6B1GQV

I have contacted Half Off Depot multiple times since Feb 2013 and now they won't even reply. This is not the first time they have given miserable customer service but for a $40 rip off it is intolerable.

I paid $40 to have my car detailed from a local business; I tried for months to set an appointment but emails went unanswered and whenever I called the listed phone number, I rec'd a message saying there was no voicemail account associated with that number.

Lo-o-o-o-o-ng after I wanted to use the coupon, after I went through the hassle of multiple emails to Rip Off Depot and after the coupon expired... someone called. They said they would "let me use" the coupon (How nice, I paid for it) but the earliest they can detail my car is... are you ready? JULY! They started to leave a contact number but hung up before finishing it.

I am truly tired of being run in circles by Half Off Depot when there is an issue with a purchased coupon. No other discount provider gives this low level of service.

I DO NOT want to wait 2 more months to get my car cleaned. I do not want to deal with this nonsense any longer.

CREDIT MY ACCOUNT... STOP SUPPORTING MERCHANT SCAM ARTISTS
