I wish I had seen this earlier. I completely agree with everything on this page. I did not get something I ordered and after lots of back and forth in email all I get is a USPS tracking number. What the hell. Everyone wants to complain that Amazon takes over everyone but at least when you order your stuff it comes and they stand by that. So pissed
I purchased a head phone set for my son. It has been more than 3 months and I haven't received the unit so far. I will never purchase anything from this site. Service is terrible. There is no way to speak to anyone. The worst I have seen in my life.
Do not buy from this company... run to Groupon or Living Social. I have purchased many of their offerings and more times than not, the provider is no longer in business or doesn't respond to attempts to make an appointment for the service offered.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If they reply to your request no matter how idiotic their response, they get to mark your ticket as closed even though they did no research or made an attempt to solve your problem.
Run from this company as they are not credible and should not be in business. I believe the merchants who use them are unable to do business with Groupon which is a red flag in itself.
I will never buy from them unless I have already done business with the merchant.
I've bought many coupons from them. Most have been good, but you're really at the mercy of the system. Half off depot is slow to respond to complaints and often it takes many emails to get a response. I received some broken jewelry. They told me to mail it back, but they never received it and would not give credit. I will not use them again! Again, most products are legit, but there's no recourse for when the product or company is not legit. Half depot doesn't have your back.

I like halfoffdepot.com. It's another play on groupon.com but again, they are not as big so essentially they treat businesses better. Good, but not perfect.
Retailer would not honor halfoffdepot coupon because they were not being reimbursed by halfoffdepot. Halfoffdepot refused to refund my money. Horrible customer service; no live person to speak to and weeks waiting for reply emails. I hope I can help save someone else the hassle I experienced.
I use Half Off Depot all the time. There's no hassle. I just purchase vouchers, print them off, and save a ton of money! When my family comes into town I can take them out to eat and then to a show. My sister flies here for work a lot and we can make a cheap trip to the spa and go get our nails done without cutting corners. I purchase from Half Off Depot to go out with my boyfriend, my friends, and lately the great offers with hotels and vacations have been perfect gifts for everyone to get away. If you haven't used the site before you're missing out!
They have the worst fulfillment I have ever experienced. The item purchased is never received in the time frame they advertise. I have had to dispute charges to my credit card on more than three occasions. I am still waiting for my most recent purchase and it has been 5 weeks since my purchase! I never shop with them anymore. I now use Groupon.com, the are the best!
I bought a Jambox at 50% off. Seemed like a great deal until I received it. Sure enough, it was an open box item, either used or refurbished, and surprise-surprise, did not work.
I contacted their customer service and their response was essentially, "What? That's crazy. We'll look into it and get back to you in 5-7 days." Never heard anything back.
I ended up returning it to the manufacturer.
I will never use halfoffdepot.com again! It's not really half off if it's not new. I could have bought a working item for the same price on Craig's List.
I ordered an iPhone Otterbox protective case from Halfoff depot March 2,2013. I paid $29 for it.
Today is May 3,2013 and it still has not come. After a month I still needed a case for my new phone so I ordered one from Amazon for less money and it came in four days. Should have done that in the first place. When you try to contact them you fill out a "ticket" which they will answer in a week or so. Here's what they say... Our sincerest apologies for this delay. We are working to get the situation resolved as quickly as we can.

My last "ticket" to them ask for a refund, no credit, just a check because I do not want to ever deal with them again. They are a joke.

VP fulfilled their part of the deal with about 3/4 of the orders and we have now sourced the item with another vendor to ship out the remainder. I too have used HOD many times. Bt this time their hotel offer was for a hotel in Miami with the worst reviews ever! So I immediately emailed HOD to cancel the voucher--yes, their stated policy is no refunds on sale purchases? Excuse me? After a couple of emails, I have twice been promised this refund, but 17 days later, I am still waiting. I filed a dispute claim with my Visa provider. NO MORE HOD
I placed an order in mid June- according to my "voucher" the item was going to be mailed to me. I haven't received it yet. I have phoned multiple times only to leave a voice mail message, for which my call was never returned, i have also submitted two "customer service requests", which i attached my voucher to- also no response. Lik ea FOOL, i ordered from them once again- why i have no idea (yes, i know not very smart), and once again- no item has been received and no response to my emails. I am contacting my credit card company to dispute these charges for products i haven't received. STAY AWAY

I am in the process of trying to get my refund. They have absolutely no customer service & want to do things by email & through another company. I bought a certificate for myself & a friend to have our car windows tinted. The company, remember this in case you see it, is called: Tint and Audio express. They told me they can't do my or my friends' car because they don't do luxury cars unless you pay more. I told them my friend had a Kia & they said they still would not do her car unless she pays an additional 50%. I told them this sounds like bait & switch to me. They wouldn't let me talk to the owner so I tried to contact halfoffdepot. They are just as bad. After several phone calls & emails they gave me a credit for my windows & my friends which means I have to pay her & find a way to use the $200 credit. I emailed them & asked for a refund & also tried in vain to call them. I only bought from 2 companies, 1 is out of business & the other no longer belongs to the program. In other words I am out of luck & halfoffdepot doesn't care. I will never buy another certificate from them again!
Ordered a G-Shock watch and Beats headphones. After a month of waiting on the watch they issued a refund because supplier could not honor demand. Now, I have been waiting another month for the Beats headphones I ordered. They are good for restaurants, but I would not use them to buy products that need to be shipped. They cannot compete with Groupon
Half off depot is a complete scam! I am a merchant who ran a deal with them and they never paid me! I am contacting other merchants and apparently they don't pay any of the merchants. They wont be around long I am sure run as fast as you can from half off depot! They are changing to the name N-Crowd I am sure to duck and dive from all of the merchants and consumers they have screwed.
We purchased a certificate to a place that was closed due to wind restrictions... sent an email to customer service not willing to refund... Stay away!
I am a merchant and I cant even get them to call me! I have had several calls in to them and they dont answer! If they know they will get money from me to do ads and they still dont help- What the hell are they going to do with a consumer!.
I purchased three half off vouchers from Half Off Depot on 4/22/12. I proceeded to place my order with the merchant representing the vouchers. After more than a dozen unsuccessful attempts to reach the merchant by phone as a follow up to the lengthy delay in fulfilling my order, I decided I would see if Half Off Depot could intercede on my behalf to get my order filled. Over a two week period and four emails I explained again and again to Half Off Depot that I was being ignored by the merchant and my order was not being filled. The only thing Half Off Depot did was tell me to contact the merchant directly. All Half Off Depot is good at is taking your money. They didn't offer any support after the sale whatsoever. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and find another source to trade. I will never use Half Off Depot again!

This site is a scam. Purcahsed on Iphone battery from them from XOXO. No product, no refund, no service. Read other reviews of REAL people who use them and see how many did not get their products. See a product at HOD, google it then buy it from a reputable vendor. You can find the same price only you will get the product this time.
