I have been banned from 3 accounts and they give no reason for the ban. I did follow their guidelines and did nothing wrong. Several people on the app advertise drugs and prostitution but still have accounts. I am not sure who is in charge of this site but I am taking legal action!
I am tired of talking to fake profiles, denouncing them and see Grindr do nothing about it. I even send the original photos of international celebrities fake profiles use, but they don't seem to care. Also, since it's been sold, grindr is popping ads out of the blue every 5min. It's sad to see such a great app become so mediocre.
It used to be a good app about 7 years ago. I used to meet real people. It was purchased by a Chinese firm and is filled with fakes and scammers. The profiles steal photos from other sources and create profiles that appear to be in your area but they are from China, Philippines, Russia and Africa. (Probably left over internet trollers used by the orange pig to win the election. Don't waste your time because the people in support with their stripper names are not real either
The discrimination given when you're trying to post pictures is absurd. There is some real sleazy underwear pictures on there. I tried to post a pic of myself shirtless cut off at the bottom of my chest and it keeps getting denied. It makes no sense my face is in the picture and my chest that's it. They say underwear picture is not allowed yet there are plenty of them on there with bulges. I wonder who is banging who to get their sleazy pictures approved yet mine which are completely rated G are denied. This app is a complete and utter joke.
I have found Grindr to be nothing more than a pic collector playground. People are rude. They are blunt they come out and tell you what they want, what they expect! And if they are not into you, they will let you know how gross and disgusting you are and that they're not interested. There is no civility on the site. Most people just want to trade pics and that's it and once you trade the pics they will put your $#*! on block so fast your head will spin. This is the ugly side of what gay life has become. And Grindr does nothing to soften the blow. I absolutely find it repulsive. If you don't have a poor self-image once you initiate your profile, you sure will walk away with one after it's all said and done.
So have two accounts to see if it's true. One account paid for monthly. My second account I didn't pay for it. My paid account was banned for no reason. Followed the rules and got banned. My other account sent all kind crazy stuff. Guess what not banned yet.
If you want your money taking for no reason. Go ahead download the app and pay monthly fees.

Grindr is filled with spam bots scammers nothing gets done every day i report the same fake spam bots over and over and over again and nothing gets done about it gets reported as " spam " but nothing happens
I have been to have my photo, profile, account removed (deleted) for over a week and it is still there. The support team is useless. Grindr doesn't respect the wishes of the user. It shouldn't be this hard to delete an account. You have no control over your account. The question is why are they keeping it open. Stay away protect your information. Don't use grindr.
This is a really bad site, they allow prostitution and members to ask for money all the time, Prostitution is illegal and have reported them to the authorities, Grindr is liable as they use their site to do so, also majority of members are only fakes and photo collector what a scam. Seems admin needs to grow up they say they make Grindr safe no way is that true. Good app except many on there are looking for as young as they can get! Just wait until daddy gets ahold of that son's phone. Legal but you may get your $#*! whipped. Also, I've seen dudes profile pics in their underwear with their wad showing. My pic, with just my underwear band showing was banned. The young turds at Grindr will ban your pic if you're 30+. Pretty much, if it doesn't turn them on, you get rejected. Dumbasses.

It bans you for no legit reason other then someone not handling rejection very well. You reject someones advances & they report you for a bannable offence, that you're innocent of?

Grindr recently banned my account one month after purchasing a one-year subscription saying my profile had been reported for engaging in "spammy" activity which it defined as "attempts to solicit another user's personal information or prompting users to visit outside links," neither of which I have done. When I asked them to provide a specific instance of my doing what they alleged, they wouldn't respond, nor would they refund the cost of the 11 months remaining on my subscription.
This is a weak app, looks shiny, professional and plasticy but it's amateurish. I don't think this company has the money or the resources to come up with the amount of power necessary to provide good consistent accurate service to all the members that it promises to be the gay communication mecca for. Messages get drop or delayed for up to 2 or 3 days sometimes. People in your network get pissed because they think youre blowing them off this not a help to the gay community this how to make enemies really fast! And these people want you to pay for awful service? They gotta be kidding.
