The shopping experience was good (however, feedback thing at the end is kind of annoying). The item shipped quickly (note: I chose an in-stock item for this reason) and I received it right on time. I actually didn't expect the delivery until end of day but it was at the door by 10am. I only had it about a week but use it daily and the mat seems great (hence the name, I suppose): high quality, no complaints, just what I wanted/expected. For nearly the same price as competitor's product (caveat: to be fair, I'm comparing greatmats.com sale price to a full price), this mat has a thicker vinyl layer so expect it will hold up significantly better.
The ordering process was smooth, shipping was timely, and the mats I received were all perfectly fine. I am little disappointed that the 1/2" interlocking foam mats do not include edge pieces, nor even have them available at all. If that detail was made known on the product page, I sure missed it.
The directions led me to believe I had to be at the house to receive my order. I contacted Fedex and paid $10.50 to have a specific window of delivery time. They did not follow that and dropped it all off on the porch and took my 10.50! I was also disappointed that the black tiles have whiteness in the center of each tile. Is that normal?
Check out was smooth. I called to speak with customer service, and Beth answered all of my questions. The rubber mats I ordered look like their good quality. I only wish there were more options on sizing. To completely cover the area I want, I would have to order another 4x10 foot piece and cut it myself.

Ordered product on Sunday, received on Thursday. Started remodeling the basement room Friday night. Had some large objects to move so the process is, put down some tiles and then move the objects, then put down more tiles... Definitely need to have furniture sliders/glides as the foam would not allow you to roll a dolly on it without wide wheels. You will need to keep these under any items you put on the tile to prevent them from sinking in. Get them in 16 packs from The Home Depot. It is not ( time wise) worth trying to match up the wood grain so they look like a plank floor. There are seams that will show and some that won't. We considered the location (basement) and use (exercise and TV viewing) and are happy with the result so far. Time will tell how durable the tiles are, but at time if installation they seem very durable.
The shopping experience was great. The mats arrived quickly. The mats were priced right, especially with free shipping. The only reason for not giving a five star rating for the product was because I had expected better grip for working dogs on the mat. They are more slippery than I would like.
Order went smooth and the mats arrived on time. They appear to be well made and having the hook and loop on the mats really make it nice so they don't slide apart when in use. Outside material looks to be pretty durable and should work well for throws and takedowns in martial arts. The inside material seems to be a little stiff but testing them, they worked well and feel pretty good when getting slammed into. I'm no youngster and these old bones didn't break so should work well for about any age. It appears firm but gives enough to prevent fall injuries. If I need more, I'll be coming back here to get them. I checked out about every website on the internet and found that these hand the best product at the best price.

So far, so good, haven't opened it yet--it's bigger than I thought--that's my bad, but I might have gone with a smaller mat like 3x7, if I had seen one--returns of mats are expensive so will try to make it work. Thanks.
I have ordered mats 3 different times from this company and have been very pleased with the price, quality, and delivery. We have constantly expanded the outdoor play area for our one year old twins by ordering the interlocking mats.
Looks and feels great BUT the veneer does not hold up as well as I expected and when it is scratched the mar is very plainly seen. It would be better if the underside of the mat was not white -- it should be one of the brown tones. ALSO, I contacted customer service and asked if there was something I could put on the mat to protect it and have not received a reply. I made my request over 2 weeks ago
Tried to put in a coupon for free shipping and it was deleted and the order placed without any notification that the code had expired or was invalid or any explanation or ability to not complete the order. I actually need more of these tiles but you are out of stock in this color.
So far so good. If it arrives in a timely manner and the quality is as good as I expect, it will be a win-win.

Arrived 3 days early. Actually higher quality than expected. It was a nice surprise. That doesn't happen very often anymore.
The system wouldn't let me reset my password, so I had to call customer service to find out what it was. To my surprise, the agent who answered was able to see my password, which didn't seem all that secure. But everything else in working with greatmats has been amazing! And the customer service reps were incredibly nice and informative. I've already recommended greatmats.com to some people!
Great experience, fast and easy. I did have some questions when it came to the number of tiles actually needed for the job. I was covering a wood deck with the tile. When I put in the dimensions in, the number of tiles calculated was way more than my actual square footage. I couldn't figure out why until I looked at how they configured the tile for the deck. Greatmats centers the most tiles and then trims them all around with partial tiles. If done that way, you will need a lot more tiles. My plan is too start at one corner and build out and cut to fit at the edges. It should work and looks great.
I would like to give a complete review but cannot at this time because this is a birthday gift and has yet to be installed.
