Gousto

I joined Gousto for the first time with a code that was given to me. I ordered food and was overcharged by £7. Sometime later I got an email that was almost accusing me of criminal behaviour because someone had used the code before. So instead of doing what a lot of companies do And saying the code had been used they sent me a very rude email and deleted my account. I'm a 70-year-old retired professional. Never used this company before and can't believe how they responded. They may respond to my review with all sorts of excuses, but what they did is factual.
After seeing the response on trustpilot I contacted Gousto. Spoke to one of the call assistance and they promised to log my concerns basically unable to do anything because of the bureaucracy within this company. This should've been an easy and happy experience. Absolutely wasn't.

Ordered the 4 recipe box, everything went through and email was sent out to confirm my order. It never showed up. When I contacted 6 told me somebody else signed up at the same time and so my account was broken. That was it. No offers to get something sent out just that I need to go sign up for a second time.

I joined gousto the start of this year, i was fed up of ready meals or the same meals every week. I loved the fact you got all the ingredients to make delicious meals, and that you could choose from 10 recipes per week. For me this was the winner. We started off with 3 meals a week, but now we have the biggest box which lasts us 10 days between us.
The food is brilliant, sometimes there are mistakes in the box, but the customer care i cannot fault, always very helpful and friendly. I love choosing my recipes for the week, the recipes are also very easy to follow, anyone can be a good cook with this one
