If you buy electronics beware. They sell everything AS IS. Most of the things they sell they won't say it works. They will say it powers on. That's all it will do is power on. CD players won't read discs, Recievers won't have sound, and other issues.
I have yet to get anything that actually functions even with the basic abilities even close to what it's supposed to do. The "powers on" is all they require to ship it to you. You then have to pay for shipping, handling and taxes, then repairs. So check first with them or your cost might double out the door. The BBB or some government agency should step in and stop them ripping people off. This is clearly a scam when you get an item with some expectations that it will at least function, and it doesn't.

I purchased some designer jewelry that is both gold and silver and while I never received a confirmation email for any of them I received a fedex notification one day after each purchase and they were there within a week which was way faster than shopgoodwill website has been. I have been happy with the shipping time and the great prices but wish that they would send a confirmation after each purchased. I have one item that is from the chicago area and I have not heard anything yet and if I don't I will contact goodwill but it does say at the top of the website that there are delays in shipping due to high demand.

Said item would power up. It doesn't. It differs from pictures. Obviously dropped and big piece of metal broke off. Sent it to me anyway.

Buyer beware!

I am posting this review everywhere I am able:
Just before Christmas in 2022, I purchased a used stereo receiver for $204 (total) and it arrived with NO SCREWS holding the metal casing onto the unit and the power transformer is humming very loudly. Obviously, there was an issue with this receiver, and someone had taken it apart, then Goodwill Finds went ahead and listed, sold, and shipped it out. Unbelievable!
I had sent multiple messages on their (Goodwill Finds) website, and I did not receive one single response. Then, I involved BBB. Goodwill Finds finally admitted to their mistake of shipping the broken unit without screws. They then said they would send out a return shipping label and refund the money. After a long wait of not receiving the label, the BBB reaching out once again. Goodwill Finds have not sent out a shipping label or even bothered to responding. GWFinds is literally being ran by crooks as far as I'm concerned and it's no wonder, they have an F with the BBB.
I often give and frequent our local Goodwill store but I'm sad to say that I strongly advise everyone and anyone not to trust or purchase from this online store. The people who are running Goodwill Finds are obviously not trustworthy. We seriously wonder how these people allowed to operate like this. They should be held accountable. Buyer beware!

BEWARE! Electronics are Trash!

I recently bought a Kenwood stereo receiver and a Beats Pill online from these guys. Kenwood was dead on arrival and the Beats Pill won't hold a charge and terrible crackling from the speakers. Both were supposedly "tested" I feel like I was duped and now I'm just sol on the $80 I spent on this garbage. Customer service will not return my emails or phone calls! NEVER AGAIN!

This place is a joke, you place a order and 3 of 4 items was not available. There is no way to contact customer service except email and they do not respond. They say items were lost and could not be shipped. Emailed them back to cancel the remaining item and they went ahead and shipped it. It took them over a week to tell me the items were not available, I have sent 4 emails trying to get in touch with them, and no response. Do not waist your time ordering from them, They are a joke...they dont even deserve one star very bad business...

I bought a vintage raincoat from them. It was advertised as size A but the photo showed size B. Wrong size came. My bad--triumph of hope over past experience. Cannot get any response to multiple return requests. If they ever respond I will update this.

A poor experience. I have purchased two items from them and have found a number of issues.

1) There is no way to get further information about an item.

2) The pictures are often very poor, and you will generally find issues once you receive the item.

3) My purchases took over 2 weeks to ship.

4) The packing was fair to poor. I bought an amplifier that arrived undamaged, but it was wrapped in minimal bubble-wrap, which means luck played a factor. The second item was a turntable, and the tonearm counterbalance snapped off rendering the item worthless.

5) After 3 attempts to contact the website using their app and email address I have had no response at all. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

Stay away from this website.
