I started prospecting a year ago and was on the verge of giving up until I went to Gold Prospecting Adventures in Jamestown. Walking into the shop is like stepping into a museum of the gold rush era. The shop has artifacts, supplies and Mr. Shock is extremely experienced and helpful. I paid to prospect the claim for a day and not only found gold, but was rewarded it's weight in knowledge given to me. I've gone back 10 times since and learn something new every time! Thanks to the guy's at Gold Prospecting Adventures, I officially have gold fever! I now make my weekly trek from the Bay Area not only for time on the river, but to chat and learn from the staff at the shop. I highly recommend this experience!
These people are very unprofessional. You need to call their place of business to get any information, and when you do finally order something, you get half answers and lies.
