For those who don't know what goguardian is,its a dumb app that blocks " bad " videos or websites.
Today ALL i wanted to do was play zelda online but no i could"nt use the website even though zelda is a video game that was MADE for kids,like who made cause who ever did must hate everything. It blocks youtube,zelda,games,editing stuff and e.c.t.

I HATE GoGuardian. I had LanSchool Air for half a decade (I don't consider it spyware, it's actually good and legal), and now I have GoGuardian. Overview:
Control - Closing tabs, ending browsing (3.25 / 5)

My child complained about this site that teachers use to monitor their students screen. I thought they were just monitoring the screen till I looked deeper and read that they can see the students through their screen. What if a child is home-schooled and on their computer while getting dressed?! A teacher can watch them get dressed. I don't think this site should be legal, 1 star. Do good.

Do NOT install this on your Chromebook/Mack/PC. It is nearly impossible to get rid of, you can't alter what it sells to advertisers, (which is everything from your browsing history, to your ACTUAL FACE.) and it uses your webcam without your permission. For some reason, none of this is illegal. It's horrifically invasive, blocking everything from YouTube, to school operated or used websites such as Google Classroom or Teams. The user-interface for unblocking websites is incredibly clunky and needlessly complicated. Even if you unblock a certain website, GoGuardian seemingly re-blocks them at will. Do not support this business.

Go Guardian is an invasion of student's privacy. It blocks freaking NEW TABS. The worst thing is that Go Guardian tracks your location without the student's permission, which is ILLEGAL. BAD BAD BAD. Whenever my teacher turns on go guardian, I feel like kicking my computer out the window. DO NOT USE. THIS IS AN ILLEGAL WEBSITE. Also it sees your search history D:

This app is very annoying they can track your location down which is illegal and sketchy they can take screenshots they can even block stuff that's not even inappropriate they even block videos many videos that are not even close to being inappropriate or bad even when my home they're still spying on us LIKE COME ON even on the weekends too like what Why is the stupid app on the Weeknd's Can't even play Cool Math because it's blocked LIKE WHY i hope this app gets hacked by hackers so we can stop being spied on by this ridiculous app

GOGARDIAN SUCKS! It blocks every single thing ever! I tried to go on Nitro Type, WHICH IS ONLY USED FOR TYPING, and it was blocked. It is also a spyware. Teachers can get your address from this. This is illegal. 1 star. Teachers just want your personal stuff. DO BETTER.

It's so fun! I get to sit my fat-$#*! on a chair for 6 hours a day, and ALWAYS watch what my students are doing! I can unnecessarily block ANYTHING I want just because I feel like it!

Even when the kids are at home, with their doors closed and vulnerable, I can open up Go Guardian, and try to video chat them! The looks on their faces when they've been caught doing something at home that they thought they were safe doing is PRICELESS! Once, at 6:30pm, I got bored and decided to snoop on the kids on the site. (Yea, I know I probably shouldn't do that after school hours, but who's stopping me?) I caught some boy in my 2nd period class looking up some 'interesting' things on his device! I screenshot what he was doing immediately! The next day I outed him out in front of the whole class, and he left the room in tears! I felt good about it, because I just helped my school block yet ANOTHER prn website!

You know what else? I can see their location AT ALL TIMES! This amazing feature has allowed me to stalk students home whenever I want to! I can even stalk wherever they go, as long as they have their school-issued device with them. This is a very good program! I would recommend this to many teachers!

Blocks everything for me I can't go on a single website without getting blocked it would be good if stuff was blocked only during school hours but no my school computer is basically useless outside of school things please make blocking stuff only during school

GoGuardian spied on me in class every day and almost doxxed me. GoGuardian is a PRN website too. It almost accused me of theft. It ruins all the fun.

It's so good it needs a 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999.999 rating. Because teachers can use it to look at what their students are doing so they will never get on something they aren't supposed to do again.

I don't recommend this stupid spyware because it is an evasion of privacy, it can look in your webcams, and can hack in to your google account, I would have gave this 0 stars if I could

This app is pointless,why do you want to stalk your students?
It blocks good resources for homework,and blocks things that don't even need to be blocked in the first place,and the fact that this even exists in scary, it shows kids that privacy does not matter to adults at all. Its an evasion to privacy to students and does not protect them,yes it may help someone's kid once in a blue moon,but has too many faults to balance the rights.

Literally spies on students.garbage, terrible extension, monitors you at your own home, how did they even make this legal.

It may be a banal, superficial, and cliche comparison, but I believe this technology was heralded by George Orwell himself in his work titled 1984. I'm literally like that one guy who got executed for writing a diary, except the diary is Duck Life, and the execution is an irritating passive-aggressive comment from my teacher. (I don't know, I never read the book but my point still stands). As I type this out, I have my finger hovering over the buttons required to switch tabs so that my teacher does not reprimand me before our entire class. I would almost rather a public execution than whatever sick form of humiliation this is. TL;DR GoGuardian is the bringer of misery, destroyer of privacy, and harbinger of tyranny.
