With goguardian teachers can watch students, which Is an invasion of privacy, and unfair. Goguardian can see your search history, and won't let you delete it, which is another invasion, of privacy. Goguardian was made to block dangerous stuff, that could be harmfull, but it blocks literally everything. You can't even research, for a project, because goguardian, blocks every website. When your done with your work you like to watch videos, or play games, or listen to music, but you can't do any of that, with goguardian. The privacy policy video is blocked, which is suspicious. Goguardian is clearly breaking laws, and doesn't want us to know. This is unfair, because you can't have fun, when your done with your work anymore. Goguardian needs to take down there website. Watching people's computers is illegal, so everybody who works for goguardian should be arrested.

I get why this exists - to keep students from getting off task, but the website gives teachers the ability to block every single website. To be fair, it doesn't make sense as to why high schools even use this. It doesn't even teach high school students to be responsible and turn in their work; students should choose whether or not to do their work and learn their lesson by suffering the consequences of not turning in their work if they choose not to do it. Schools need to rethink what this website is really for - to make a teacher's job easier or to make students be on task? Likely to make a teacher's job easier. I'd give this s*** website 0 stars if I could.

Invasion of privacy shall i say anymore. They can watch us, block us, and not care how we feel about it. School is already bad but they decided to remove the idea of fun and completely take away any care. Wont let us watch videos but don't let us use phones; wont let us listen to some music but wont let us have airpods. With reviews like 1.5 i hope it gets shut down. Hi, I'm Nic and I am an 8th grader who's sick of GoGuardian. The very reason I am writing this is that I have some complaints... First of all, it is annoying with the site-blocking. And second it separated me from my social life for 2 whole months!

It is the most horrible thing on planet Earth. It even tracks your location, which is just wrong. This tool is often abused, and I would recommend just going into developer mode if it gets added to your Chromebook. I swear it makes browsing a nightmare. This is a gamer's worst nightmare. One of the ways to submit this review was even blocked. I mean, WTF?

The $#*!ty damn goguardian stalks children and blocks every single thing we damn do! I believe that this goguardian $#*! should be taken down and broken, brick by brick. It should be melted and $#*!ing pulled apart. It should spend its days in $#*!.

WHY IS GO GUARDIAN EVEN A THING IT SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THE WHOLE WORLD DUDE YOU CANT PLAY GAMES OR INSTALL GAMES PS IT SUCKS

GoGuardian makes it hard to keep passwords and private conversations to ourselves since teachers can see everything, and yes, EVERYTHING on our computers. It's like someone watching everything you do. Even though the point is to restrict people from doing certain things, there are other ways to work around that.

GoGuardian watches my kids screens and it just disappoints me. Every single website says, "Website Blocked" Also, they have to do work on some Youtube videos and they are just blocked... like why...

In conclusion, do not get GoGuardian UNLESS it's for a good reason.

Goguardian is literally spyware for kids. Imagne having a bit of free time to be able to play games or watch youtube and then your annoying teacher just closes It even though you got the days assignment done. It even happens at home. When trying to use other websites to help me such as looking for a PDF for English (best class btw) it would block me on the spot. Can this stupid extention be illegal already? Why are people below the age of 18 treated like stray dogs with no rights?

It blocks everything, fails to load youtube, only allows coolmathgames, schoology, the educational stuff, and anything fun is off the board completely. 0/10, do not reccomend. Also it tracks your data so it's actually -5/10

Goguardian is absolutely dumb. It blocks a lot of important resource sites and even lets us teachers see your camera! They are allowed to see your history and it doesn't even keep kids on track. You really can't rely on it as it is broken half the time. Kids would be more on task without anything blocked! Once we were doing a research project on multiplayer games, and my students couldn't even look up the name of the game! I would rate 0 if I could.

GoGuardian spies on children. It can look through your camera roll. It blocks everything useful, and does not even keep children on track. For example, when I was a kid, I had 2nd period with a teacher who used GoGuardian. GoGuardian locked the screens. I went to 3rd period, trying to work on an assignment, but GoGuardian would not let me do activities even after the end of 2nd period, which was when GoGuardian was supposed to turn off. This is trash, I'd rate it 0 stars if I could.

In my opinion GoGuardian is one of the dumbest apps that have ever been made.
1 students get no say in what is or is not blocked
2 some blocked websites are blocked for no reason
3 the teachers are violating students privacy
4 videos are blcoked for having quote "A blocked keyword" but there are no bad words at all
5 teachers use it as a way to embarrass student in front of the rest of the class.
Thats all I have to say but GoGuardian needs to be removed forever.

Goguardian is technically spyware, but because it's for schools its somehow perfectly fine. It randomly blocks apps and even some school apps that teachers sometimes use, It blocks games that kids can play in school but in other words, it is spyware.

This app is so stupid it literally blocks stuff that's not even inappropriate I understand yall are trying to keep us safe but having it on at home or even the weekends that's a little too far and The most creepy thing is that they can see your history and you can't even clear it they also block videos that are not bad and Appropriate websites too this app needs to be banned ASAP

"why do they want my location? What is this? I don't feel safe. My students don't deserve this! They are blocking everything! ####you!" (words said by many innocent ones) why? Just why? This needs to end. The hacking, stalking, blocking, adviat shinde (the one who carted this website) look around don't you realized how much you done to us? Kids are crying, teachers are mad. Some don't Evan care about us on much how gogardian treats us. we are trying to tell you the problems that are in that website but you just ignore it. It hurts to see our favorite YouTuber gets blocked or a favorite song or Evan a favorite show. Its apposed to keep us away from the harmful gun or violence ECT but insted its doing the opposite. Extra: now I found this website called lightspeed filter go check it out! In conclusion: I love tacos :)

All this stupid piece of crap does is block everything, educational or not, it just does and its very frustrating and annoying, it makes all students basically have PTSD and depression. Its literally spyware and tracks your data, so yes, it invades privacy, makes every school mad, and as said before. A. PIECE. OF. CRAP.
