GoFundMe

We have set up a GoFundMe account and have collected over $100k for the relief of workers in our company who have lost their jobs due to the Corono virus. This represents hundreds of good folks who have donated with that intention. Two weeks and multiple email exchanges with "Support" (there is no phone contact for this outfit and no other way to contact them), and they are still holding on these funds with us having no recourse but to wait until somebody sends us another email. Critical assistance is being delayed as a result of this negligence or simple lack of consideration. I am wondering how many millions of dollars for other groups who have setup similar relief funds are now sitting with this company instead of being available to assist those in need.

I wouldn't even have given this company one star if it wasn't that I had to in order to write this review. I gave generously, as did tens of thousands of others, to an organization fighting for freedom in our nation. Go fund me withheld $9 million of funding based on false information peddled by mainstream media and other liberal opponents to this movement. This protest was peaceful and inspiring quite frankly. This is shameful. I am appalled. This company obviously doesn't realize that the freedom movement is fighting for the freedoms that they don't even realize that they have lost. Shame on you GOfundme. Another better platform will surely arise and outshine you. I would never give through this organization again. The corruption is shocking.

A significant amount of money has been donated to a peaceful group of grassroots people, and GoFundMe is choosing corporate pushback over the integrity they owe to the citizens across the globe who have donated. Don't bother wasting your time putting your money here, when they will turn on you and your cause on a dime! There are better and more effective ways to donate, than to a corporate entity that doesn't care about hardworking people, but only what they can gain politically and monetarily from blocking ordinary law-abiding citizens. The people choose where their money goes and to whom. Don't allow this sham of an organization to do what it will with your hard earned dollars!

I've used GoFundMe for two fundraisers. Super easy to use, and their customer service folks are quick to help when you have questions. I had an issue with one of the checks that had been issued, and I would never have noticed not receiving it. After a few months, GFM contacted me about the amount that they still owed me. I was confused and feared it was a phishing email, so I messaged their customer support person and he quickly investigated and determined what had happened, and made sure that a new check was being issued. After dealing with so many online services that have incompetent customer support, I have to give a positive shout out when one is deserved!

I am the beneficiary they make it nearly impossible to receive your funds while telling you by email they want to help. They don't really help they send you back to there horrible website and nothing still comes from it. You will not get your funds easy. They wear you down until you don't want the money anymore. It's horrible and you never have communication by phone. My cousin set this thing up I wish he never did. I could have used cashapp and a social media page. It seems I'm not gonna get my money and I will always speak against using there platform

Recently I was the target of a scam which emptied my bank account. This action took every penny, paid bills were returned with a large fee from the bank. I was left with no money and a $1900 bill owned to the bank. A longtime friend jumped in and created a GoFundMe account. Within the month I had enough donations to pull me out of the hole. In the beginning, not being familiar with how the site worked, I went to the 'Chat' room. Someone named Tammie helped me right away and stuck with me till I worked through my problem. The opportunity to have a GoFundMe site helped me out of a very bad situation. I am hoping that the Scammers aren't able to get into this and mess it up for everyone who truly needs help.

The site GoFundMe is one trustworthy one! When I was confused in how they work, I contacted their support and within 30 minutes or so, they had responded to my request in a timely manner and helped me understand how they operated. In my opinion, they demonstrated compassion and diligence towards my request and I was truly satisfied. I'd recommend anyone whose in need of help in understanding this site to never be afraid to contact support. Their customer service is truly exceptional.

GoFundMe was a site I often read and heard about. Never in my imagination did I think that there would come a time that I would need such a venue. Yet, circumstances arose that left me destitute and without GoFundMe I would be undone and given over fully to despair.

Thanks be to God that there are those that have shared in their abundance with me and mine via the GoFundMe platform. It has been a blessing that has simultaneously left me humbled, ashamed, and blessed.

Operationally, the folks at GoFundMe have been excellent in responding to my questions. Timely and helpful support is rare these days, but at GoFundMe I have not experienced any issues.
