Contacted Glassesshop after ordering my pair of sunglasses that only lasted 5 months with minimal use they started bubbling and i was being nice contacting them to see if they would help me out to continue buying glasses from them and they wouldn't budge with there 30 day warranty garbage when all they make is not good quality for higher pricing. Going to take my business back to Costa del mar where they always had treat me right with proper warranty and customer service.

*Update* GlassesShop did reach out and offer a full refund for my order and did not require I return the glasses I received. I honestly would have preferred to return the glasses, but they do not offer prepaid shipping labels to return, so I would have had to pay out of pocket. I had to leave a review here and file a complaint on BBB to get this refund, so I am only giving them 1 extra star, but it is worth noting that they will do the right thing when push comes to shove.
I normally do my research before buying from a new company, and I'm paying for my lack of due dilligence now. I sent an email to their customer service earlier, but judging by the reviews on this website, I won't get a satisfactory solution without posting here.
I ordered 2 sets of glasses and both sets are useless to me. First, the lenses are WAY thicker than they should be if the 1.67 high-index lenses were used, which is what I selected and paid for. I have other glasses of a similar size and shape that also use 1.67 and the difference is striking in the thickness of the lenses. In fact, one set I ordered from GlassesShop is a good bit smaller than my other pairs, so by GlassesShop's own admission in other responses, the thickness of the lens should be less than the larger frames, right? Well, that is not the reality of what I received. On the larger pair the lens is actually wavy on the edges, which I have never seen before, and is definitely not correct.
I have a very high prescription, which is why I always pay for at least 1.67 high-index lenses. The lenses in the glasses I received cause vision distortion in the entire lens except the exact middle, rendering them useless to me. The distortion is extreme, where anything outside of the exact center of the lens immediately becomes blurry and stretched.I am very disappointed in what I received and would like a full refund, as I have no confidence at all that GlassesShop will be able to successfully create glasses lenses with my prescription.
I am more than happy to return the glasses to GlassesShop if I am sent a prepaid shipping label. My order number is *******161.

I found this company a couple of years ago and had been pleased with the glasses. But this year the company has been a nightmare! Last month I ordered 4 pair of glasses and one was not right. They made me pay to ship them back then I received an email today that said the points were put back in my account as a credit and I could reorder. Forget it! This has been a full 24 hours that ensued with Chat that takes hours to get a response and then e-mails back and forth. The points were not put back in my account correctly so I could not reorder glasses. This company has gone from good to bad to indifferent!

Tip for consumers:
Don't! They seemed to be a good company Prior but now absolutely horrible! There is poor to no customer service!

The lens were very good. The frames didn't match the color shown online even a little bit. And my correspondence from their Customer Service department was some of the worst I have ever experienced. They don't give a ---t about anything but the money and the people in the CS department must actually be owners of the company to get away with talking to a customer the way they did! THIS IS NOT A NICE COMPANY!

I recently purchased a pair of glasses from glassesshop.com. They arrived with one lens incorrect - their "bad", I input the Rx correctly, they made it wrong. After having to waste more time than I felt I should to prove to glassesshop that THEY messed up, they did remake the glasses. The frames on these are so bent that the optical place I took them to for adjustment couldn't do anything. This has just become a comedy of errors! Now I have to switch the correct lens into the straight frame.
I buy glasses online frequently. In fact I purchased two other pairs of glasses from two other online businesses at the same time. Those had no problems. Glassesshop had the best price and the speed/shipping wasn't something I could complain about. But they need to figure out what Quality Control is. It would save a lot of people wasting time for things that should not be issues.

I ordered 2 pair of glasses. Payment was taken.
It's been a couple of weeks but I haven't even gotten an e-mail confirmation.
My husband ordered on the same day. Nothing.
I e-mailed them to see what's up. No response. I called them. Had to leave a message. No response.
It would be nice to know where we are in the process. They had no problem accepting payment right away. When can we expect our orders?

It was my fault for not doing more research on this company before buying a product from them. It's been almost 4 weeks and still haven't got a conformation email of my order, only a order number that I screenshot. I'm currently on the phone with customer service and I'm pretty sure I'm the first one to call because I called the second it opened and I've been on hold for 20 minutes now and I'm not staying on this for an hour. I see reviews get quite the same response, therefore I'm writing a review to get someone to look at my case and give me a refund. Y'all are quick to charge but not quick enough to give to give the product in return. I find it silly to wait to get the tracking number to work AFTER it's been shipped. Please respond ASAP because I need my money back. No store credit please nor hoops to jump through preferably. This company gives off scammer vibes because they seem like they don't try to improve when constructive criticism is given. Don't buy from here because it's nerve wracking, unless you are okay with giving up your money/card information to a company you don't know about like I did.:/

UPDATE: literally just got my glasses they seem okay. I was so frustrated that I didn't even like how they looked on my face but everyone around me say that they look fine so, no need for a refund. BUT that still doesn't discount my overall review. I was hung up on trying to call customer support and had to leave a message (I called as soon as they opened and stayed on hold for 30 minutes). There is no way to track my order so I didn't even know that my glasses were already shipped (no conformation email or anything just a notice after my order to screenshot my tracking number.) please have better customer service because people want to know where their hard earned money is going to. Thank you.

I bought a nice frame and very affordable multifocal glasses. After wearing the glasses for about half a year, the frame broke. I've asked GlassesShop how they can help me, but have low expectancy because of their 90 days warranty.

They offer 100% refund if you take store credit, but only 50% if you don't. They ground my glasses wrong, but won't give refund unless I go back to the eye doctor and have them checked. That would cost me $100, and the glasses only cost $100 so, I'm stuck. I lost $50 on glasses they ground wrong. BEWARE

Prices are really good, but you get what you paid for: frames are quite inferior to other brands and the bad part is the time to delivery! 7 weeks to get a frame is not acceptable in our fast-paced world

The prescription seems correct BUT... my vision seems warped. Everything straight appears to be bowed and makes me feel strange. I had another company manufacture the exact same prescription in an old pair of frames and they are just fine. So, I recognize that although the prescription GlassesShop filled may be correct, the quality of their grinding of the lenses isn't good. I will never order from them again. And their Customer Service is not very good. Buy elsewhere.

I tried to cancel my order after a week of no response, but the day I requested a cancel I got an email saying it was shipped. The blue lense glasses were more expensive but not any better than my other purchase.

I have been buying Glasses from them for years. Lately I ordered and found not good. Their price isn't that great anymore even after coupon. Customer service is only Live chat with one person named lynda. Calling them didn't work. Tried to Cancelled one pair because of the size. They will give you half of the refund chagrining restocking fee. There shipping is bad waited over one month. I would never buy from them again.The quality isn't' Bad. I have found better options elsewhere.

So far.the glasses are ok, however I waited a month for them. I understand that wait times might be somewhat longer during the virus pandemic, but they should have let me know it would be so long. I needed the glasses and would have ordered elsewhere if i had known.

Honestly I feel like these glasses would be fine if ordered not for everyday wear, but if you're ordering glasses you intend to wear daily I'd find somewhere else. I've had my glasses for 4 months and the frames are already broken. I've been wearing glasses for 20 years and never had this issue until now.

I got a progressive bi-focal, it gave me a headache and wasn't very clear, I contacted them back rewarding a refund and they kept giving me the run around. Buyer beware.

I was all set to join the crowd and give then a 1 star rating. It took a month and 3 days to get the glasses, but the prescription was right on the money. Yes, their customer service stinks at best. When the prescription is wrong, you need to take them back to your eye doctor and get a note that the prescription is wrong and then they give you back your money. On the 7 pairs that I have bought for myself and my wife over the past year, only 1 out of the 7 had the wrong rx. I eventually got my money back. They only give you a 1 month guarantee and after that, don't expect to get any satisfaction. I broke a frame just by cleaning the lenses and they were less than 5 months old. Their anti-scratch protection is not worth a cent, as the lenses scratch easily. So don't spring for that extra $14.95.
On the plus side their lenses and frames are cheap and they have a great selection. But as the adage says "You get what you pay for", so don't expect quality. I probably will not be doing business with them again. And neither should you!

I bought a few pairs to try out online eyeglasses shopping. Overall it has been relatively inexpensive due to shopping the sales and using vouchers, but the results have been hit and miss.

My first pair were a basic plastic pair with no extras, from the "first pair free" offer. The optics are great and the frame fits, The style looks a bit ugly but for $9.90 shipping fee they gave me some confidence in online shopping.

From there it has been hit and miss though.

The next pair looks beautiful but the frame is flimsy and one arm was wobbly on arrival. Despite having a proper optical screwdriver kit, the build quality of the glasses is poor and I cannot shift the screw in the wobbly arm. The glasses are therefore confined to the house as a spare pair.

Another pair looked nice online but close up there are flaws in the transparent frame. Also the nose bridge is about 3-4mm narrower than specified which is too much to alter using heat, without making the shape look ridiculous on my face.

The final pair is lovely and the only one that has made the shopping experience worthwhile. It looks and fits as it should according to the listing.

I will probably cut my losses here though as the long delivery times and the limited customer service make for a very unreliable shopping experience.

I've order from them twice and there has been a problem with my orders BOTH times. While I don't mind the long wait if I'm getting a good deal, it's the inaccuracy in their listings that I don't like. The sizing is wrong. I need a size 17 or 18 bridge, but each time I've order from them, purchasing glasses that stated a 17mm bridge, I receive the glasses and discover the bridge is 16mm. When I contact them about this (via email), I'm told that it's not a big enough difference for it to matter. When glasses won't fit properly and aren't sitting on your nose, it's a very big deal. Because they were cute, I kept them and steamed them and made it work.

The second order... well... I wish I would have kept my 109 dollars. One pair is very thin and flimsy and feels like a pair of readers from Dollar Tree and there's something wrong with the prescription in the right eye! The second pair are beautiful. The frame is beautiful, the prescription is excellent, and everything about them is perfect... except the size. The bridge is 16mm instead of 17, and the eye is 53.5 instead of 55mm. Needless to say, the glasses are too small. Unfortunately, there's no way to make these work. I'd need to lose about 5 to 6 pounds (which wouldn't be a bad thing) of head fat to make them work. I will not order from them again.

After my first glasses from glassesshop.com were delivered ok. I decided to order a second. These came with an incorrect prescription. More accuratly my correct prescription was printed on the box but the glasses themselves are not my prescription. After alerting them to this they have said "they are only $12 we do not want them back". That is the sum total of their customer service! There seems to be a big problem with communicating in English. Be aware that if you are spending a whole lot more than $12 you may not get your money back if there is a problem.
