Double Dipping
August 13, 2020

After experiencing an apparent problem in completing my order Dshop chat line advised me to try again next day & order went through. Then kept receiving emails advising that my order hadn't been completed. After disputing this & then checking my bank statement it showed that they had put through 2 payments to my card on different days & I'm continuing to receive messages telling me my order hasn't been completed!
Advised my bank of the fraud & they refunded 1 of the 2 charges. Dshop then advised me they could no ship goods as payment had been cancelled, I advised that I was going to advise Consumer Affairs. Then received Dshop message to advise order was ready to sent backed up by Aust Post confirmation. Then further email from Dshop to say that Paypal had stopped payment & they could not ship order until they received payment but they had the one of two payments that had not been cancelled. By this time however my order had been delivered! Dshop is not only an incompetent operation but also they committed fraud by continuing to advise that my order had to be completed whilst at the same the time they had put through 2 payments to my credit card.
Serves me right for not checking reviews before I place my order. When I saw the reviews I was aghast.
My advice - don't have have anything to do with DSHOP.

Dshop = RUBBISH!

Bought a telescope as Santa gift and lucky I received it 2 days prior to Christmas or I'd have thrown the junk they sent straight back!
Poor customer service to boot.
NEVER AGAIN!

Don't buy

SAVE YOUR MONEY. Purchased a desk as working from home. It is unusable!
Their resolution was to return to product! It was too dear to return as it was a desk. It is a SCAM!

THIEVES!

If I could give 0 starts I would. HORRIBLE product quality! Ordered a TV unit and it came damaged. Contacted customer support and was told to assemble the product ans take a video and photos so that they can assess the damage and decide what to do. After doing that they said that the damage is minor. The damage is NOT minor, all pieces od the unit are damaged and visible. They offered to give me a $25 voucher even though I paid $200 for an item that was meant to be new and undamaged. Their other option was for me to send the item back at my own expense under their Change of mind policy or for them to send two door replacements even though you can clearly see that the whole unit is damaged. Would not give a refuns at all. They just don't care. Business practices are the lowest of the lowest. Product doesn't look even close to the photos online. Thieves founded this business and thieves are running it! NEVER ever have I had HORRIBLE customer service like this and never has anyone stolen my money like this before! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LYING AND CHEATING THIEVES!

This is the worst experience I have had with purchasing an item on-line. I purchased a DIY Cube Storage 27 XXL Cupboard Combination Wardrobe (Magic Cabinet) - style: 27 door and it arrived by courier on Saturday 12/12/20. I constructed the cupboard on Monday 14/12/20. After carefully following the instructions on how to construct the cupboard, I was very disappointed to discover that most of the doors were misaligned thereby making it difficult to open and close each door. Some doors remained open due to not being aligned properly. I contacted Dshop on Monday evening via their on-line chat explaining that the cupboard was faulty due to most of the doors being misaligned. Dshop asked for photos that I uploaded to the same chat session. After the chat session had finished, I received an email from Dshop asking for more photos and a video. I provided more photos and a video and asked for a full refund and for the cost of return postage to be paid by Dshop. On Tuesday I received an email from Dshop offering a $30 gift card and for me to keep the faulty cupboard. I emailed back asking for a full refund and explaining again why the cupboard was faulty. Dshop responded with another email changing their 'offer' from a $30 gift card to a $30 partial refund and they refused to give a full refund because I hadn't provided a video of ALL faulty doors (despite me providing a photo of the whole cupboard that clearly showed a number of misaligned doors); that I wasn't eligible for a full refund because I had already assembled the item and that I could easily fix the problem of the misaligned doors myself. I went on to the Consumer Affairs website to check what my rights are in relation to returns and refunds and what I could do to resolve the situation. I found that I was eligible for a refund and to contact the bank for a 'chargeback'. I rang the bank and they provided me with steps to lodge a transaction dispute. I won't be buying from this company again. If you experience a similar issue, check the Consumer Affairs website and contact your bank ASAP!

The worst online retailer!

Do not waste your time and money with this poor excuse of store.

Customer service? There is none.
Follow through - none.
Professionalism - none
Care and effort - none

This appalling list would become too lengthy if I were to outline everything that's wrong with DSHOP.

First Item arrived cracked and broken. This was purchased in April. 2nd item arrived scratched and damaged and I was missing 2 items. I called and was promised they would be refunded immediately and I said cancel the missing items that never turned up and refund immediately. A week later, the 2 items arrived. I opened up a box and it too was chipped scratched and damaged. Despite 50+ attempts to get the company to do what is legally required, I'm still being forced to continually email, call and write via the online chat But to no avail.

A different person, supposedly senior named Rachelle wrote to me asking for video footage. Are you serious? I sent multiple photos and repeatedly. It seems what they do is LIE and try to make it impossible to obtain a refund for damaged goods, which is against Australian Consuner law.

Prior to writing this, I threatened to write exactly what has transpired everywhere online, so that you don't waste your time and money. It's simply not worth it!

This pathetic excuse of a retailer should go bankrupt and my only desire is to obtain a refund and have them collect all this garbage, as my small apartment is not a storage facility. I've attempted to resolve this since April.

DISGUSTING! Please remember your consumer dollar is worth something and irrespective of the apparent great pricing, nothing is worth this nightmare.

I urge you to share your horror stories, so we can eliminate this disgraceful online retailer. Taking the time to write such reviews will signal to Google that this is NOT a trusted company and then their rankings will fall, as they should!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!
This would have to be the dodgiest, most deceptive, Singaporean company on earth!
I purchased a desk online from this company and it was the biggest mistake of my life.
It was so poorly made with sharp jagged edges that cut me and tack welds that didn't line up.
When it arrived, EVERY piece and panel was scratched, dented, chipped or otherwise damaged.
I contacted Dshop via their 24/7 help desk, only to find out that they're essentially just virtual answering machines and you have to wait for someone to get back to you (which they never do). THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER AND THE STAFF ARE COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT AND SEEM TO BE TRAINED TO DRAG OUT RETURNS!
I made contact 4 times in a week before getting a response telling me that I had to build the desk first and then provide photos, to which I refused and re requested a refund.
I then waited another week for some other idi0t to email me and offer me $20, stating the damage to every panel was minimal and refusing the refund under consumer law.
The dshop staff kept refusing to provide me return and refund information and then threatened me with an inspection fee if I returned the goods. When I googled and checked their Facebook, it seems that they do this to EVERYONE that buys their shonky goods!
I will NEVER purchase anything from them again and strongly urge anyone else thinking about it, to read the reviews and find somewhere else to purchase from!
