Embarrassed

I ordered a gift for my girlfriend's birthday and it didn't delivered. I am so embarrassed right now. It was supposed to come yesterday but lets see if they deliver it today.

I am so sorry for the delay and can definitely appreciate how upsetting it is for your gift to arrive later than anticipated. Our carrier partners, UPS, FedEx and USPS are all being inundated with record-high volume of parcels due to COVID-19. As a result, we have seen some rare but unusually long transit times. Currently, there is simply no way to predict when one of the carriers will fail and we are truly sorry this has impacted your delivery. I do see that this was delivered one day later then estimated.

Your gift experience is very important to us and we have extended a 20% gift card to you as our way of saying more than sorry.

We would never want your loved one to feel forgotten and I'm very sorry again that this delay occurred.

Ordered a $ 100+ fruit basket for my son-in-laws brother on the 16th of September. Their father whom I known for decades died unexpectedly. It is now the16th of October. And still no fruit. It is yet to be delivered! Yelp website gives them the same type of horrid reviews. Called Gift Tree. Asked them to send an apology note and a small gift. They do not want to do anything. Do not do business with this organization. I did not check the is company out. But please do so.

GiftTree attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

My husband had a procedure and was to go to the lobby and call me or Lyft to pick him up. I tried to check in the afternoon as I hadn't heard from him and he wasn't answering his phone. I called the doctor's office and they were not answering their phone. Because he is disabled I was alarmed. Thankfully another of our doctors is in the same building so I called them. One of the staff went to the office and was told he had left some time ago. The staff member went downstairs to the lobby to find my husband completely confused and very sick. The doctor came right down and took him across the street to the hospital. We felt that was above and beyond and so we chose to get them a gift from GiftTree. We have sent gifts from them before. They were thrilled and loved it. My husband is much better now!

Never use again.

I am utterly dissapointed with the quality of flowers that were sent to my girlfriend after her surgery. She has shown me a picture of what she received and it was TOTALLY different from what i ordered. The type of flowers used were so cheap that took away from the entire look and value of the gift! The color of the vase was supposed to be pink, but it came in clear glass. The assortment of flowers was very different from what was in the shown picture.

Rest assured i will never be using your service again.

I had contacted customer service when my aunt's flower were delivered incorrectly- I was immediately connected with someone who amended the situation and was very attentive to my concerns. COMPLETELY changed my review of the company, will definitely see about ordering through them again! Thanks Jolene Sigea in Customer Service- You Rock!

Happiness in a box!

Father's Day was approaching and I was searching for a gift to send my 94 year old, sharp as a tack, Brother-In Law when I came across Gift Tree. He is a wine lover and I wanted something special and found it! My niece sent me a video and photos of him opening it and when I say the how it looked I was thrilled and sent this note to customer service: "I just received a photo of the finished product and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! The label looks great, hope he likes the wine! Thank you!" The wine was packed in wooden box with a sliding lid, so made the opening a bit more fun as well.

I received a very nice note back from Sara in CS thanking me for the feedback with a touching note to me: "Fingers crossed, but we just know Big Lou will love that wine and remember this Father's Day forever"! Thank you Gift Tree and Sara!~

I have ordered from GiftTree on several occasions, and have only once encountered an issue with an incorrect order. I used their website's customer care live chat and was connected with an amazing customer advocate, Ashley McCombs, who went above and beyond in both understanding and remedying the issue. I will continue to use GiftTree exclusively for all of my gift-tower needs.

My brothers and I sent my parents a basket for their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone their celebration, so we wanted to make sure they had something special to help celebrate such a milestone. I had my mom send me a picture when it was delivered. When I saw the basket, I knew it was NOT what I ordered. I asked her to list the items in the basket. Here is what was wrong with what they received...
- There were only 10 items in the basket, when there should have been 15.
- Only 2 of those items were correct. They got a lot of nuts, which my mom doesn't even like!
- The bow was not the right color.
- The card that was filled out from my brothers and me, was not included!
I emailed Gift Tree to share my disappointment. I told them it was not the correct basket, and I was upset.
They replied, stating there are times when they run out of items, so they must substitute. I can understand this, but I was never notified of any changes that were going to be made to my order. I have a huge problem with not fulfilling what I purchased, and them just tossing a bunch of nuts, as a replacement, for the items that were supposed to be in the basket.
I asked them to make good on their error. Their idea of making good was to... Give me a 40% discount ( from what I paid for the basket) toward my next purchase, or 20% of my purchase back on my credit card. Really?
Since I will NEVER use this company again, I chose the latter. However, it is not about the money! It is about trying to give my parents a lovely basket for their 60th Anniversary, and them getting a box of miscellaneous items!
I feel they dropped the ball, and their way of rectifying the situation was to credit me $22, as opposed to sending them the, actual, basket I ordered!

Keep looking

If you're looking for a basket for that special someone, keep looking. Although I ordered more than a week before Mother's Day and free delivery (estimated) was to be on the Friday before, Mother's Day was yesterday and my mom still hasn't received her basket. Since it was over $100, I was really hoping she would receive it. Instead, I received a message on May 6th (Wednesday) saying my package was delayed for reasons beyond their control and that alternative means of shipping were being determined so that it could get there as soon as possible. Look, I know there's a pandemic going on and a lot of business is whack, but this is affecting everybody, especially for us who can't be with our family. If you can't do something, just say so for goodness sakes and please do it while there's time to get something else for those we care about. The Wednesday night before Mother's Day Sunday makes it pretty difficult to order something and get it there in time. If I can order and you can process my payment so quickly, maybe try to do all you can to deliver. Thanks for making me feel even more helpless during this COVID-19. Hope your moms had a great weekend. Apparently mine didn't matter.

I sent the Wine & Chocolates Basket to my 89-year-old mom for Mother's Day. Well! The ribbon! The popcorn! The chocolates! The basket! The scissors!

I promised I would send another for the Fourth of July!

Never used GiftTree before this purchase. Made my mom's and my day! So happy.

I ordered my my mom new beginnings bulb garden and it didn't mention that she had to water it to make it grow. Also showed it arriving in a cute blue metal basket but it didn't. It arrived in a basketweave covering a plastic pot. Not okay. Do not recommend. I'm so embarrassed. My mom didn't understand what she received. Here are pictures of what it was supposed to look like and what she got. So sad and embarrassed for this company.

Originally I was not so impressed with this site. I had received a basket as a gift that came with one opened item and switched one item with another that I could not eat. I also was not impressed with the presentation of my items, it was more items in a box than a basket arrangement. I called them to tell them about the opened item and my unhappiness with the new switched item. They said they would fix it and send out a replacement. I was expecting the two faulty products to just be replaced and mailed to me. What I did not expect was that they would send an entirely new gift basket! The 2nd basket they sent was so much nicer than the first. They sent me a more premium one, arranged nicely, with many more delicious items. I am really impressed with the service and that they did that. Thank You!

I left a part of the order incomplete and they notified me of the step I missed. This would not have effected them completing the order or mailing it out... Here is my response to them for the email before they shipped my item...

Gift Tree was Fantastic. The Monterey wine basket was phenomenal (According to the recipient) The quality of items and quantity within the basket - you name it! All great and a perfect gift for the current chaos the world is experiencing. They even went above and beyond after UPS botched the delivery. I will be a customer for life!

Don't know where order went

I purchased a gift for a co worker and had it delivered to the office. However due to current events going on now our building was shut down when the item was to be delivered. I never received an email updating me on the delivery, the status, was it delivered, was it returned back? I've tried to call several times and all I can get is a recorded message.
