It pains us to know this negatively impacted your experience and regrettably, weather delays are not something we can control and are not eligible for reimbursement. I ordered a fruit gift basket on a Wednesday to be delivered on Friday. I paid $10.95 for overnight delivery. It was not delivered on Friday or Saturday. It was delivered on Monday. 3 days late. I complained but they would not refund my money. They said "No refunds". The service is terrible.
I am terribly sorry your gift arrived late. Delays are never anything we would want to encounter and it pains me to know we let you down. Unfortunately, this was related to a severe winter storm across the country and directly in the area this was being delivered to and we are not able to reimburse delays related to weather. We do hope the gift was able to bring a smile still once it was received!
Their Gift baskets are awesome. I ordered a gift basket and chocolate basket, their selection quality was good. My sister empressed with it.
They have very good combo to gift anyone as per our wish. Their pricing is also under budget, we can select our gift as per our budget.
I ordered a gift for someone the second week of December2020, today is 01/06/21.It was specified a business. They attempted to deliver 9pm, no business will be opened at that time/I contacted the person who was receiving the gift, no one contacted him or left a card. The person phone number was given at the time of purchase. I asked them to email me and let me know if the package could be sent to me. Noone contacted me. Still waiting for delivery. Maybe next Christmas.
I ordered the Metropolitan Gourmet Gift Basket for my niece for Christmas. I placed the order online December 7th. My niece lives in North Carolina and Gift Tree shipped it from their North Carolina warehouse on Dec 12th, for a delivery on December 18th. The basket was just delivered this morning, January 6th! I called their costumer service number several time and was told they couldn't do anything about it... it was the US Post offices' fault! First of all, WHO ships baskets with the Post Office this day in time? They promised me delivery before Christmas and they should have used a more reliable delivery service like Fed EX or UPS! They took my money and washed their hand clean of the responsibility of seeing that my basket was delivered when promised! I will Never use this company for a gift again!

Ordered from them on December 10th for a Christmas gift and it has yet to be delivered - today is the 29th.
They told me it'd be delivered by the 17th and now the office that it was being sent to will be closed until after New Years. They don't want to help at all saying it's basically not their problem. Won't refund. And if the package never makes it- I only get a store credit, not money back. WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.
They charged me $70 for some chocolate and popcorn- never again. Next time I'll just deliver it myself. At least I'll know it made it.
What a rip off
What a rip off. Ordered the Godiva Gift tower for my clients for Christmas and one for myself to see what we got. Paid 129.00 for each one. The towers was not worth more than 50 dollars at best or even less because it did not contain everything they said it would and other the 2 small Godiva bars everything else was generic crap. The quantity was so small that it was embarrassing to have sent it.
The company took $100 for a Godive chocolate tower to send a brother's family in Miami. The order was placed before Dec 15. By Dec 22 nothing arrived. I asked that they resend another item of similar value. They said I would have to wait until 2 days AFTER CHRISTMAS! Total ripoff! Don't use them!
They ruined the Holidays for me. I ordered baskets for my employees on Dec. 4th with a ship date of Thurs Dec. 17. Nothing was sent. Then they confirmed and assured me the gift baskets were being send out Sat Dec. 19, Sunday - Still nothing send. Then, last minute on Mondy night Dec 21, I get an email stating that the two baskets are not avail and they would grant me an extra $50 towards a high priced basket and overnight shipping. Empty gesture b/c there were no baskets available at $50 more than the $150 basket I purchased. I suggested we send two baskets equal to the value of the one basket (using $50 credit) since there were no comparable baskets left. They said no and were not willing to help me after they totally screwed me over. They expect me to send a lesser quality basket than what I paid for or wait until after the holidays to send something of equal value when it comes available?! Will not be doing business with them ever again!
Don't order from this website. The customer order representative said this happens a lot but that most customers are ok with late & missing orders!

SPOKE WITH THEIR CHAT SUPPORT AND MANAGER THE FOLLOWING DAY TO RECONCILE THINGS AND THEY REFUSED TO ASSIST ME. THEY DONT EVEN EMAIL YOU WHEN YOUR ORDER SHIPS. I WROTE INTO THEM VIA EMAIL MESSAGE TO CANCEL MY ORDER BEFORE IT SHIPPED AND THEY IGNORED IT AND SENT THE ORDER ANYWAYS. NOT COOL!

We have ordered from this company so we have a gift history code etc.and this code as well as others are printed on the catalogue I received today. This catalogue shows the Hampton Country Estate gift basket to cost $149.95. I went on line to order it. There was no request for any codes and they wanted $199 for the basket. I called their number and was switched around and then put on hold indefinitely. Very poor regard for a returning customer
This company is dishonest. We ordered over 60 gift baskets for my clients, and the representative told us that the shipping would be free. After spending many hours to complete the address forms and picking out gifts for my clients, we were told about additional shipping fee and upscale charge (?) of over $500 right before finalizing the order. When asked for the explanations, they accused of their carriers for the additional shipping charge and never explained what the upscale charge was for. We have worked with Harry & David and Wine Country Gift Baskets for the past 6-7 years and never had experience like this. We just wanted to try different company this time for our clients and picked Gift Tree based on their review. We were very disappointed and wasted so much time! We had to spend more hours searching for another gift basket company and making orders again. I usually don't write reviews, but this time, I had to make sure to let others know so no one else waste their time!
I would have liked to see what they're product was like but unfortunately they said they could do overnight deliveries but then called me 3 days later to say they still hadn't sent it out.
I purchased a gift for my wife's birthday; three bottles of wine and a tote. When she opened box the tote was clearly damaged and the shipping box had no damage. This item was clearly packaged for shipment with the knowledge it was damaged. So, my wife calls for a replacement, customer service says item is no longer available, but you can have a 20% refund. Wait, I can have a 20% refund when I was shipped a damaged item. Finally, they offered a 50% gift card, which means I paid $96 for $50 of wine a retail price. Now they refuse to respond. Awful company I am reporting to the attorney general in my state. If you get a good item, I think you will be a good position, if you have any customer service issues, just forget getting a resolution and accept overpaying for a damaged item.
