We used to use Gift Tree for all of our corporate gifting. It has always been overpriced - but we used them anyway because the gifts were presented well and arrived quickly. It was our tradeoff for saving someone from doing this in-house. But now the prices have gone up even MORE, and the shipping took two weeks! It just isn't worth it anymore. Quite disappointing.
I ordered the sympathy gift basket 3/9/21 and was delivered 3/19/21. It should not have taken 10 days for a gift basket.

The fruit could have been a little better. I mean, at least remove the stickersm some of the apples didnt even have stems - everyone who knows anything about fruit know that the stem kees it fresh. Probably not worth what I paid.

The birthday delivery day was scheduled for 15 th March... they tried on Saturday 13th in vain cause it wasn't expected by recipient. Birthday date didn't arrive and caused disappointment. Package arrived at 3pm on March 16th!
I paid extra to have the basket delivered on Friday and it didn't delivery until Monday after 6 p.m. If you are going to offer expedited delivery at a cost, then you need to get it there when you say you will.
I could only find a particular wine on GiftTree though it was marked up 3x the regular price. So I ordered it and it came in a box that was falling apart. If I had sent this as a gift I would have been embarrassed!
That's the experience. You not only deleivered it on time but you followed up with the confirmation.
I spent $95+ on a fruit and cookie Sympathy basket. My sister sent me pictures today of stale cookies and moldy pears and apple. She threw the entire contents of the basket away. I thought I would give this company a try, as it was promoted by American Express (I will contact American Express, also). I will never use or recommend this company to anyone. A refund, not replacement is expected. This was shameful customer service! I'll use the reliable Harry and David as I have for years.
A college fraternity brother hospitalized with covid wound up with pneumonia and sepsis! After surviving and discharge to home care I sent the fruit and cheese trio to him. He was very appreciative as we are not close, 50 plus years after graduation. The recent death of another frat brother has made us all feel closer after all these year via email. We are planning a reunion soon!
