Arrived with broken basket, was replaced via courtesy
This was our first bad experience with Gifttree. We ordered a charcuterie gift tray and it arrived spoiled. We called they apologized and said they would resend overnight and would be well packed. Just learned they sent it standard delivery and with the holiday now will arrive four (4) days later. Ugh!
Hope this not par going forward.
Paid EXTRA Delivered Late
I ordered a gift to be sent to my mother for her birthday and paid EXTRA for the gift to arrive on time. The gift was late and I was only refunded half of the EXTRA money paid for shipping because the express delivery services are not reimbursing for delayed shippments.
I had a bad experience with delivery, my wife got this gift early one day before her birthday, I tried to short this problem but staff did nothing for me
I ordered a fruit basket for a housewarming gift for my friend's family, as it was the first home they bought. They were very happy with the gift... thank you, GiftTree!
The gift was great, but didn't have a card identifying who had sent it. This was the 2nd time I have used this service, and this happened the first time also.
Thank you for your recent order! It pains me to hear the card messages weren't received with your gifts. We take extra measures to tuck each card in safely with the little sleeve attached to the scissors that come with the gift and tie it tightly to the ribbon. Ordered supreme box, got like 5 boxes of sweets and lots of empty stuff underneath. It's not worth it. Make it yourself and it will be much more cost effective

I see you ordered the As Good As Gold Supreme gift and this should be packed with an abundance of at least 11 sweet and savoury goods! Unable to submit discount code. Therefore I paid full price for my order
They show a picture online but then when it gets delivered they make "substitutions" and you don't get what you ordered. Very disappointed and will never order from them again

Thank you very much for providing that feedback to us! Because of higher demands on these goods during the pandemic, we've had to make some substitutions along the way. There should be two other gourmet treats in their place within the basket.
This was never meant to be a surprise and I am sorry those items weren't available at the time the order shipped. We do have a note on the gift description outlining this:
Food Items Subject to Availability. Sometimes a gift basket item is unavailable. Be assured that we will substitute an item of equal or greater value to ensure that your gift arrives on time.
Our goal is to always be transparent with our customers and we are truly sorry this information was not seen at the time the order was placed. We do hope the rest of the treats were still able to bring a smile to your recipient!

Given to my parents for a Father's Day/birthday and they absolutely loved it! Great gift!
Half of the order arrived late (day after happy birthday celebration) therefore plan B to dinner was requiered, birthday cup cakes to place the candles and sing never arrived. They were cancelled 2 days after requested delivery date.

The gifts are nice and the account executives respond timely. They are flexible and do what is possible as long as the customer asks them to resolve issues. I was pleased with the service and response time until the order was finalized and there were a few mistakes in the names of the recipients and addresses. Even after pointing out some error to fix, the typos were not corrected. There were issues with two order delivered to the wrong address as there seemed to be a technical glitch with the upload for the 50 items we purchased and it took quite a bit of interaction to get the issues resolved favorably. Still, the guest recovery was only fixing the mistakes and nothing else to make up for the additional involvement and inconvenience caused by the mistakes. I would do business with Gifttree but would warn everyone to make sure they verify the gift receipts to ensure the names and addresses are correct because they seem to be manually entered.

My gift was to be sent to a business, and I was very displeased with the delivery service. They arrived at the business at 7:18 PM, obviously it was closed. When I contacted customer service, they said they had no control over this. I told them the gift had to be delivered during specific hours the next day, as my original contract was not honored. This business had abbreviated hours later in the week, and I indicated that if the gift was not delivered the next day, during a specific time frame, I would have to cancel the order as it would no longer be fresh and due to the abbreviated business hours the rest of the week.
Luckily, they did deliver within the time range I specified the next day. But this delivery situation was rather stressful and unnecessary and tainted my experience with gift tree
I paid extra money for these to be delivered by a certain date because the recipient was leaving town afterwards. They arrived the following day instead despite me paying extra, so she didn't receive them (her mother did). I would never recommend this company.
It was for a gift so I can't say anything other than that the recipient was very happy with it. He said the ginger cookies were like a drug
When I ordered the wine box I couldn't seem to get the one personalization selection to work. It only allowed me to either add a year OR a name, but not both. I placed my order with only the year. A couple days before it was due to arrive, they called & emailed me to see if I wanted to add the 2nd personalization. I really appreciated them checking with me because the second personalization added a nice touch-which I wanted. It definitely impressed me that in this digital world, a real person actually took the time to make sure I got what I wanted for the gift!

I can understand why you wanted to let us know about this early arrival and I'm really sorry the gift arrived the day before it was expected. Because of the delays the shippers are continuing to experience due to the impacts of COVID-19, we have adjusted our transit windows to account for a potential delay and ensure the gift arrives as close to the expected date as possible. Regrettably, we've learned that when requesting packages to be held, even for just a day, the shippers are not at a point where they can handle these requests timely. This results in packages having an additional 3-5 day delay sometimes once the hold request has been made. It pains us to know this spoiled an otherwise joyous occasion.
