GiftRocket

This was by far the easiest and best way to send my Christmas presents. There are so many options for gift cards or direct deposit. It takes all the worry out of snail mail, or delays in shipping, or low inventory. It make giving and receiving gifts so easy and fun!

Recently, I used a website to purchase and deliver an e-gift card for a friend in a town 1100 miles away. It was really easy and had lots of choices. There is a small service fee, but it was totally reasonable considering the amount of choices. You can recommend where someone uses the gift card, but if they want to use it somewhere else, they CAN! That's far more user friendly and flexible than most gift cards - truly a one size fits all gift!

I've purchased from GiftRocket several times now... and I LOVE it. I'm your typical last minute gift shopper, and GiftRocket has saved me every time by letting me to print out my own gift card in minutes.

GiftRocket really works out nicely as a present because while you get to "suggest/recommend" what the money should be used for, in the end, the recipient isn't stuck with a card to a store they don't like - they get the cash.

A friend gave me a $150 giftrocket redemption code. I didn't process it for several months, because I never heard of giftrocket and didn't really understand how it's supposed to work. But when I went to redeem it, it was smooth. I asked for a paypal deposit, which came right away (easy for me to verify). In the interest of full disclosure, I got one of those review requests afterwards, and I wrote that I was happy. Then, I got another followup asking for me to write a review on any site. I then googled them to see how they're reviewed and noticed that they're getting slaughtered. Looks like Giftrocket is definitely going through some growing pains. But my personal experience was fantastic, and my sense of fairness compels me to write something to balance out others' complaints. I have no other connection with Giftrocket. Thanks

Awful! Stay away! I ordered three gifts and the recipient wanted to deposit into her account ( an option available in lieu of a card). After the recipient redeemed the gifts she waited for them to hit her account. When the funds did not arrive, I contacted Giftrocket and received a response that my purchases were flagged for security reasons, which they don't disclose. Total BS! I bet that had I purchased actual gift cards, they would be bogus and not accepted by the vendor, with Giftrocket having my money. Requesting that the gift be redeemed into an account means that Giftrocket would actually have to send funds, which I believe they have no intention of sending; hence, the ridiculous security claim. Stay away!

It was so easy to buy a gift card of my choice and send an ecard for Mothers day!
Although I could not get the specific online card all my mom had to do was transfer the funds to her account then she could use it for that specific place or anything else she'd rather have. So simple. Thank you Giftrocket!

We bought a "gift card" for my son, who is in the Marines, to use at the commissary on base. He could not ever access the money and once I realized that the number given isn't a number that is ever answered, I called my bank and disputed it. My son then informed me that several other Marines told him that they were also never able to get their money. This company should be ashamed and I am going to report them to every possible place I can.

This was a life saver when we forgot a special event. With COVID and people working from home it is hard to go and just stop by. You buy the GC electronically and they send it electronically. No physical visit to the store or someone's house. Love this wish it had been around for years.

Maybe I'm old school, but just give me a gift certificate and be done with it. I confess that it was my error when I clicked the wrong box on my phone, but now I'm stuck with a $200 gift certificate that I can't even give away in my office. I am guessing they get advertising fees for promoting gift cards for certain large online stores.
If you want to give somebody a gift certificate that's as good as cash send a check or us Venmo.

I was trying to send a gift certificate to my tenant as a "Mia Culpa". The website for their favorite restaurant was not user-friendly and I found myself spending WAY too much timer scrounging around the site. I tried a new search and GiftRocket came up. Within two minutes I had my gift certificate sent via email. SO EASY. Also, what I really liked, was that I got a "Thank you" from the recipient. I also received an "opened" notification from GR. You don't know how many times I have sent flowers or gift cards and never know if they got it. I will use this company again!

I had a wonderful experience with Gift Rocket. I wanted to get a friend that lives on the other side of the country some money to have fun. They are in between residence at the moment, so mailing a physical gift card was out. Also, I don't have PayPal, so electronic transfer was out. GiftRocket fit perfect. I went online and made a gift card to my friends email address. They received the email it and chose to put the funds into their PayPal account. Easy :) I would certainly use them again.

This is a site where you spend money to transfer money to someone else (hello, paypal). It is deceiving they have linked other companies to the "gift card" portion, when in reality you are simply paying to move money from accounts. I guess the only bonus you get from using Giftrocket is an "e-card" (something anyone could make in Photoshop, if not better than the ones available.) Lastly, the customer service is slow, my mother got me a giftcard for a restaurant and did not realize there was no affiliation. It took a while to get a response to correct this and get a refund. Save yourself time, and fees, this is not a great option.

This is the best gift Idea ever! You as a buyer don't have to think about which gift card to buy the receiver can pick out their own. I love it and will use it again.
