I needed three gifts for the holidays so tried Gift Basket for the first time. After placing the first order I was offered a discount on the second order. I wasn't given it. I sent three emails and got three different reasons why I wasn't given it. I was offered a discount on the third order, so I placed it. They then called me -- I was on the phone and called them right back. They had no idea why I was calling. I then got an email saying I was being refunded money from them. I replied to the email and got a response saying they couldn't give any information over email and I needed to call. I called and was transferred three times. The third person, Jed in the Finance department, asked me many questions and finally told me that my third order was cancelled because I never returned their phone call.
Clearly, I won't be ordering from Gift Basket again. I recommend that you steer clear, too.
I made an order 9 days ago for next-day delivery and no delivery has been made yet! I email them yesterday and they replied that are out for delivery today. It's unacceptable. That was a condolences gift that lost its meaning because was not delivered on time.
I can only imagine how bad is the service on special holidays. My fault for not looking at their online reviews before ordering.
I was appalled at the quality of the Exotic Fruit Basket & Champagne gift I paid £132 for - arrived in a a cardboard box, not the advertised basket. Three pieces of the supposed ‘exotic' fruits were apples that were rotten and so went straight in the bin.
The package also arrived 5 days later than i was promised, so needless to say I will never order from them again!
I purchased the "Calm Seas Spa Gift Set" which was delivered late but I gave them a pass on that due to a backlog with package deliveries but what I can't overlook is the fact that they did not include my card/message, so the recipient (my assistant), had no clue who it was from. I had to awkwardly ask her about it a few days later. I will not be using this company again.
I tried to go about other ways but no email to contact support and no one is returning or answering my calls! I ordered an Easter Bunny basket for my neice and nephew and it was 3 days late. Not worth the price I paid of $45! Looks like someone packed up stuff they had in their house. Nothing at all like pictured!
Don't bother, ordered a gift so far three days late and they still can't tell me when my gift will arrive. Very disappointed as the moment has passed I will never use again. Save you time and money use someone else
Ordered and paid for delivery on a specific day and still 4 days later not received. Customer service awful and offered a discount on next order (which I am never going to use). Customer service then offered refund of delivery. Do not waste your money with this site, there are lots better hamper/gift basket companies out there. Poor, poor, poor
Very unhappy with the gift basket I sent to my grandkids half way across the country. Showed up several days after it said it was delivered and was nothing like the picture shown that I ordered. No bucket, just a cardboard box with only some of the listed candy included. Not as advertised.

This basket was like $60-70 that I received for Mother's Day and I couldn't believe they were selling things from the dollar store. I'm pretty sure the dollar store looks better than what they sent me, and when you try calling them there's no answer and they give you 5 seconds to leave a voicemail until it cuts you off. I feel bad my boyfriend spent his money on this cheap $#*! basket. The products are nothing but chemicals. He even paid extra and it didn't get here on time for Mother's Day.
The description on the webpage for the Luxury Gift Basket says: Includes: Apples, pears, orange, grapes, bananas & pineapple w/ cheese, crackers, tea & other savory snacks in a natural gift basket with a bow. There was not 1 single piece of fruit in the basket. Instead there was popcorn, a can of soda, honey, salami, cookies, peanut brittle and 2 other small snack bags. What a ripoff!
I ordered a fruit basket for delivery to my daughter in law for delivery Dec 19. It is now Dec 22nd and still no delivery and no response from them as to when it will be delivered. First time using this company and I am not impressed. I would add a photo if I had something to show.
I ordered a gift basket 1 week ago and it still has not shipped. I asked that the order be canceled with a full refund. They only refunded 1/2 of the basket amount and did not refund the shipping nor the tax, even though the basket never shipped. Very disappointing.
Having received an add fro gift basket.com for chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's day, I ordered them for my granddaughter. Watching the tracking, we were starting to get anxious as Valentine's day was fast approaching and there was no movement on the strawberries. We finally contacted gift basket.com with our concern only to be told the order had been "lost". This seemed odd as the money had been taken immediately when the order was placed. Upon further contact, we were assured the strawberries would arrive on February 16. They were overnighted to my granddaughter on the 16th, which was extremely disappointing to a grandma who thinks the world of her granddaughter. A professional gift company should be paying attention to detail. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
I was origiinally not satisfied with my order but their customer service was very understanding and corrected the situation for me immediately. The customer service representative was very professional and prompt about rectifying the situation.

Even spell check would tell them its all wrong. Also I was not ordering a Yacht just some chocolates for my Moms Birthday! They charged my card but canceled the order! Money is out of my account for several days!

It arrived all in pink with a hand written card saying congratulations on the arrival of your new son! But somehow its my fault. The website is faulty, outdated and doesn't upload correctly. It appears it has three different names. Gift basket, ribbons and bloom, the flower company and flower sales. All freshly named after continuous fraudulent and sub standard business practices. More than likely a back yard business using pay it later company's to rip innocent people off. The office manager deflects any scenario back on to the customer. But honeslty sending a boys gift basket to someone u care for, for them to recieve a girls one was extremely embaressing. Beware of this company. They do not care about our business.
Ordered a Christmas Basket for my sisters in NY. Paid extra for 2 day ship $43.65. Basket arrived 5 days later. Beat up, ripped box, torn cellophane. Paid this company a total of $285.96 for this basket. Horrible experience. Felt embarrassed for the recipients. What should have been a pleasant experience, turned into a nightmare. They did not even have the courtesy to respond to my emails. Avoid this company. They are not honest people.
Run away from this company. I ordered a gourmet fruit basket for a funeral and they delivered danish cookies (in the round tin can 2 for $5) and squeeze apple sauce. Yes, that was the top of the line giftbasket. FALSE advertising on website!

I placed an order for 2 baskets a MONTH ahead of time. One basket never arrived; when I called to inquire where it was they told me a supervisor would call me right back. No calls. Two days later I call again and finally the "supervisor" got on the phone and told me it was on "back order". They had an entire month to tell me this and had no plans on informing me. They were just letting my order sit indefinitely.
The one package I did receive was a completely different basket worth FAR less than what I had ordered, contained items the recipient had no taste for AND had a note on it written to some guy I have never heard of.
I paid $350 dollars to end up with a candy bar and some gross sugary dried fruit made out to some stranger.
