Okay so I am leaving this review because generally we tend to take the time to complain about the bad experiences but not give credit for the good experiences. So, here's my experience with this company... I placed an order on gift baskets.com on 02/25/2021. The same day I placed the order I realized I needed to cancel because it wasn't going to be here on time for my mother's birthday. (Didn't see the warning message listed at the top of their website until afterwards, of them notifying customers they were in the process of upgrading distribution centers so orders wouldn't be shipped out until 03/01/21). I emailed them and tried to call them that same day, no response (understandable because it was late evening and outside of business hours). The only nerve wrecking part was, I decided to look up reviews and as everyone can see they are not so pleasant. So I immediately started to panic because I didn't want to be $91 short. I waited until the next morning and checked my email. Still didn't see an email response from giftbaskets.com. I called customer service and didn't get anyone. I waited another hour and called, I got an answer. I am guessing they weren't open yet and that's why I was getting no response initially, but I didn't see any hours of operation so I don't know. So the manager picked up the phone (Sabrina) and I explained to her the situation and my experience. She was very understanding. She also apologized for not getting back to me sooner. Sabrina assured me she'd have my order cancelled and refund placed back on my card by noon. She stated they were having a technician come in and install new computers so she'd give me a call back when it was complete (this was at 9:30am). She also stated if need be she would process my request on her phone. I provided my information and we disconnected the call. I was still uncertain but I patiently waited. Sabrina called me back less than 30mins later, stating she had processed my request to cancel the order and my money had been refunded. She also notified me to check my email for confirmation. By my surprise, Sabrina had done just what she stated she would do and fulfilled her promise. I was grateful because this could've been a horrible experience, for what was supposed to be a beautiful occasion (my mothers 50th birthday). I already had a lot of emotions because I am the baby of four children and this is my first time ever buying my mother a gift for her birthday. I felt very great doing so and excited to see her reaction. Sabrina helped keep the excitement alive and I am really appreciative of that. I can't speak for the product because obviously I didn't receive anything. This is merely to give a positive review on the customer service I received. Hope this helps in some way.
