It is a must have to book all of what you want/need before and during your stay wherever you are in the world!

The voucher exchange took a couple of minutes & the trip was fantastic.
I would definitely recommend using them.
I used get your guide twice on my trip to Maui- both excursions were as described and lots of fun. Booking was easy and the app made it simple to access info for our adventure and vouchers. Would use this site again! 4 stars instead of 5 because one of our excursions lacked detailed info of launch/check in times of the snorkel. Otherwise 5 stars!
Since it's not the actual tour company it has been hard to reschedule/refund. They often have to discuss things with the actual tour company and that can get frustrating. For example, we were supposed to go on a bike ride in Portland ME, & the morning of the ride my husband felt too ill to attend. We could not get a refund / reschedule without actually going to the ER-which he didn't need- so we were out that $.
Great service. Wonderful response time when I've ask questions. Amazing prices.
Only thing would make it better would be if there was a search ability to find something specific. Otherwise an awesome company.
My partner and I had a bad experience with the above tour. After receiving conformation of the tour for both of us, we walked to the pick up point at the royal mile only to be told the bus was full and they were over booked. My partner is still in the process of trying to be reimbursed with the payment. She has found the web site and the person(s) on the phone very unhelpful. Hope we don't have to go this far but if no sucess we are considering using the small claims court to retrieve our money. Not only did we miss the tour but it totally ruined our evening as we were unable to arrange alternative entertainment at such late notice
I did a day tour of Barcelona on 2/2. The Guide Mateo was fantastic, but there was confusion over the meeting point and I missed my train so I had to pay $106 to buy another train ticket and cab ($18) to eventually meet up with the group. Mateo really tried to make things right, but I never heard anything from their customer service, chat, and phone functions. I wrote up a very long detailed review last Friday, but can't find it on here now (maybe they took it down).
There's a lot of information and sales related effort. But once I bought something, don't remember hearing anything helpful from them. I'm on a email list so get the sales part still. However, it was really up to me reaching out to the actual service provider of the tour to make sure we were in contact and everything was lined up and ready that day.

Museums in Prague and Paris would not accept the vouchers on my Wallet (iPhone); both stating they do not do business with them. The worst part was the failure of the tour company to live up to their promise of a later delay from Giverney. Due to a late start on the company's fault time was supposed to be extended at the end of the trip. I walked into the parking lot at 7 minutes past one and the bus went right by me. I then had to find my own way back to Paris on my own dime. A very troubling experience.
First time using this company and I didn't have any issues with it. My only complaint would be that they are still advertising tours that have places that are still close to the public so you will pay for something that is not going to be done and from reading reviews on it they won't tell you until you are on the way there. So Thankfully I read some reviews before buying the tour
Traveled from New Jersey with my kids. Had a family emergency and had to return. I reached out to customer service department and was told no refund. However, after posting my experience here. I was reached out to by the company and was offered a full refund in the form of a gift code which is valid for 18 months and I can use it to book any activity with GetYourGuide. The guides are great, however we went on a tour without being handed radios! After the guide being told that all guests had been prepped
Also timings put back - blaming the Coliseum but i think poorly organised

Day trip to Saville from Malaga.
Journey good. Guide Jorge excellent. Driver great. Guide at Royal Palace 1 hour late (34F!), did not have tickets, not enough headsets. We gave up to see the palace it was so hot standing in the sun waiting. Arrived back at Malaga an hour late.

Air Canada delayed my flight by 4 hours so I was late and missed my connecting flight in Washington, to go to Rome.
I had pre-booked and for an airport transport from to my hotel. Because my flight was delayed I arrived the day after the original booking date.
Both the activity provider and Getyour Guide refused to adjust the booking for the day after, even though this was beyond my control.
They said I had to give 24 hours notice. I guess you have to be magic and telepathic when travelling to know to inform GYG that your flight is delayed. I dont know anyone that can do that.
Because of this, I had to pay out of pocket to travel to my destination. The kicker is that GYG charges me $146.99 for the transport, but the airport taxi is a flat rate of $55 Euros to the center of Rome. Even with the conversion it is overpriced.
I will never book anything in future with GYG. Be smart and use their competitors. They couldn't even get their own activity provider to answer emails, chats or pick up the phone!

Terrible refund policy. Requested cancellation and refund within 20' for a trip that was scheduled for the day after and they rejected it due to their "policy"

They cancel as they want, they make mistakes and don't fix, make you buy another ticket and don't refund. The situation is their website doesn't let you to buy any ticket if you do not write all information requested. I bought 4 tours and they did not write on email my boyfriends name and insisted that I did not write his name, the information must be written or we cang enter the place.anyway the guide called the agency and they said buy another ticket and they will refund. We wrote many mailsabout this but they said they will not refund this time.we can't find anyone else to contact they blocke and don't care now.And they canceled our last tour as they wished and never explained why.
This application is very simple to use and book activities, While also providing cheaper rates then booking directly.

Went on the Jack the Ripper walking tour around Whitechapel. Met by Tom who proved to be a great guide - very informative, a great storyteller and kept his audience fully entertained for 2 hours. Would thoroughly recommend!
Easy to find best activities for every country, lot of useful skip-the-line tickets, always available, good customer service (will deal with service providers instead of you, if something goes wrong).
Have used this site numerous times for booking tours etc. The sure is so sprays to work your way around. If any problems someone always there to assist. Unfortunately had 1 tour cancelled full refund excellent had other tours rescheduled but not a problem have always been kept up to date. Sit back and enjoy your tour(s).
