We bought 6 tickets totalling almost $500. We discovered that some of our party could not go on the sailing because they didn't have a stamp on their passport to get off at Boldt Castle. GetYourGuide would not switch our sailing to one that doesn't stop at Boldt Castle and refused to give us a refund so that we could buy tickets for the next sailing. I spoke to Kay at customer service and she was no help - would not switch our tickets or refund. And then told me that there was no supervisor available to help us. This is a SCAM.
Easy to use app with efficient staff phoning to check if we wished to buy tickets for the castle. No pushy sales. Our trip was with Timberbush tours who were outstanding particularly our tour guide Chris. Would definitley recommend and use again.
I neglected to see the note at the bottom of the Tour we selected where it stated we were required to give a 24 hour notice email verifying the exact pick up location and time. Failing to do so may result in the booking being canceled without a refund. Around 8:30 pm the night before our am pick up, our rep at Get your guide was able to contact our Tour company and reschedule so that we did not lose our money. Thanks GYG!
I booked a private tour through Get Your Guide to visit the Duoro valley in May. After the guide failed to show at the agreed time at my hotel, I inquired and was eventually told it was cancelled, no explanation as to why. They did issue a refund but this was our last day in the area and they could not book us with another guide so we were left high and dry. They were apologetic and said they would make it up to me.kind of hard to do but they said they would make it right. They did refund the tour but said they would elevate and do something for us since we had been regular customers. After not hearing anything after about a month, they finally got back to me and asked me to provide them with receipts of how much money we were out. We weren't out any money; just our last day in Portugal was shot! Anyway, they never made amends so we will no longer use and we will stop recommending.
We booked the acropolis with the app and paid 16 euros each for today. When we got there the charge on the gate was 12 Euros. We couldn't see another price whilst looking on line and now feel the app is a bit of a rip off.
Mr Abdul was the best host ever.
He gave us so much information and a good insight into the history and people of Dubai.
When one of us felt a little unwell he took good care of us till the very end of the trip.
He made us laugh and he made us feel very comfortable by reassuring us all through the safari.
I will do another tour and I would really like Mr Abdul to take us again.
He is an excellent guide and we are so happy to have met him.
I rate him 5 stars.
If it was possible to rate him 10 stars we will do that.
I booked a guided tour fot the next day but didn't realize i had to wait for a medical call. So I tried to reschedule the hours. Getyourguide was talking nonsense about a letter with a stamp frim a doctor while in the same time the guide confirmed by whatsapp directly that we can join for the afternoon tour...poor service for an intermediair. Just sales, no after-sales!
I've used GetyourGuied multiple times in multiple places and they always make a good trip a great one. I've been thoroughly impressed with every guide and felt every tour has been well worth the price. I highly recommend them in any city or country they offer service. Thank you for such a great time every time!
A few days ago we made a reservation for a yacht tour a day in advance we were told that this was not possible but the day later and now a day in advance we receive another email that the reservation is not possible but a bit earlier, but I'm afraid that's not possible either. We are on vacation and try to plan our days nicely, but it just shows that you depend on these types of amateurs. Never again that I'm going to book something through them I strongly advise against it
I booked a floatplane with them for 12:30 on September 7th.
All the information directly from Get your Guide stated to arrive at 12:30
Upon arrival, I found myself at Harbour Air Sea, in which they informed me the plan was in the air by 12:30 and that this problem had happened before.
I reached out to Get your Guide, and they assured me they would look into reimbursing me. In conclusion, they have refused to reimburse me because, on Aug 29, they forwarded me an email from harbour Air. In this email fine print, it stated to arrive 25 min before the arrival time.

We booked a trip through GetYourGuide that was subsequently cancelled by the local provider. We went onto the GetYourGuide website cancelled the tour and within 5 working days we had our refund. Great service.
Booking through GYG was easy to process. Our trip to Whitehaven Beach was with Sealink. Staff and trip was fine but we left almost 30 minutes late for the island which reduced time at the beach. The experience was great. Beautiful clear waters and warm white sand. Well worth a trip.
This company rips you off, then will not refund your money. They then try to pull up stuff not on their website to make you go away. It seems as if they are just the middle men coupled with cityguide tours. Stay away, the meeting spot is unclear intentional, if you don't find them they definitely will not attempt to find you.
Booked for a local tour in Cape Town as a RSA resident and got phoned to say i booked as an international traveller and paid three times the price. The rest of our group got the same call, there was no option on the booking so they just scamming people.
We found very good price in guide for you much cheaper then local tourism agency's. All out excursion was In good standard, transport were good and services also. We recomand for all vacantion, we can't imagine go somewhere with out this apps... we save a lot of money.
This company lies! I booked a tour in Hawaii and it was cancelled due to weather. I received a confirmation that the refund was processed. Called 1 week later to check on the status and I'm told that it processed today. I'm sure the only reason it even processed today is I emailed them 3 times to check on the status. They hope that people will forget about the refund and they pocket the money.

I made a booking for a tour through this company. Due to flight cancellations the booking was unable to be kept. I was able to re schedule the booking for a later date (a week away). Again due to flights this booking was unable to be kept. In accordance with the "cancel within 48 hours" and a full refund was due. The company has refused to provide a full refund as they are now saying that they were unaware that the booking was rescheduled (even though I have an email confirming this).
Not happy at all with this company and I suggest that you do not use them. Every email I have from them is a "no reply" email and it was really hard to find how to contact them on their website.

I booked all of our activities for my husband's birthday getaway weekend. Last year, the pandemic hit right when we were getting ready to travel to New York to celebrate him. So, this year, I wanted to make sure we had a great time. I booked several outings with this company and was satisfied with everything until I had an issue with one of the bookings. I called to try to reschedule and there was a back and forth with the actual venue and this company. No one seemed to help me to rebook for a different time. I was told "I'm sorry but there's nothing I can do". Not only was I able to go to my event just fine, I looked through the details of the event and saw for myself that I had 7 days to redeem my tickets. When I got to the event, not only was I right in time. It seems that I could book a time of my choice for the second portion of the event. Very disappointing. Please train your customer service personnel better.
They are very rude with tour guides. When you register yourself as a new guide: they can throw you away like an old sock for no reason and tell you: what you offer and what you are will not please our customers and if you ask for more explanations they will answer you to stop the conversation. VERY RUDE No regrets i don't work with this nasty company and give them all the money the clients pay for a tour^^
Our tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum /Palatine was thorough and comprehensive. Elinor, our guide, was excellent in every way…knowledgeable, engaging, and respectful of individual concerns and needs. It was a delightful experience in a most historic setting.
