We went as a couple to Spain/Barcelona for my birthday and booked a guided tour with tower at Sagrada Family on April 03,2023. We were very disappointed. Almost everything went wrong, starting with a poor guiding experience to not being able to access the tower ( which we paid for) and culminating to a second booking charge of $182.96 on my credit card. We would not recommend anyone to book anything with this agency.
I booked 3 tours in Corsica. 1st one from Bastia appeared as guaranteed but was cancelled because of a bug in the system and not enough participants. I got an email the day before my booking and a prompt refund, with a 20% discount voucher as an apology, which was correct and nice. I did the same tour by myself with a public bus/private boat and spend 40% less, even if I would have enjoyed more the planned/guided/longer tour.
The second boat tour from Ajaccio was absolutely lovely.
The third was a bit "industrial" and too touristy/crowded.
Prices are the same if you book directly with local companies; GetYourGuide just makes everything much easier if you don't have time to google everything. Especially this year, with COVID making plans so uncertain.
After canceling one event on Getyourguide I thought both were canceled. My mistake so when I realized this it was just past the 24 hour mark. I am having a surgical procedure but they don't seem to care and said get a letter from my surgeon and they will think about it. I have other worries than ask my Dr. For a note. "not to even offer 50%back" I will not use this co. In the future.
getyourguide.com does not honor their cancellation policy. Currently being scammed out of 180 dollars. The cancellation policy states 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Their rep said if only I cancelled sooner. I cancelled 38 hours in advance! I provided proof In the pictures for those who are skeptical

Not worth the money. 140 euros for basically a 3 hours experience. Lunch was great but the staff was not really there the entire time if you wanted more food. Came late to pick us up, lots of waiting, on the boat also lots of waiting and the snorkeling was ok, nothing spectacular so it's good if you never snorkelled, but quite short.
At least 1 more hour would have made the experience better.
I sent a message to share my experience nobody ever bothered to reply.
I don't mind paying but this was a joke. Do not recommend it.

So we are here in Paris for my 40th birthday today and booked a cruise down the river, how romantic. Well that was until we got a text saying that it wasn't running on Mondays or Tuesdays until the 30th of September. They were quite happy to take my partners money when booking it. We leave tomorrow (Tuesday) and so will now not be able to use it. Had they made us aware sooner we could have done it Saturday when we arrived. Now the tickets are useless. Thanks for ruining part of my birthday present. What a scam.
Don't trust their services I booked an activity in Egypt and waiting for 4 hr under sun heat 42c no pick up when contacted them they promised refund but 9 days left when contacted them again they said they can't refund

I purchased 2 tickets for the london eye at a total cost of £49. We queued with everyone else, when it came to scanning my ticket (app) I hadn't been sent a bar code, so couldn't gain entry and was told to see their customer service, they couldn't help as the tickets had been booked through a third party! So I get in touch with Getyourguide and they can't resolve the issue, a full refund wad given. In the meantime I had to purchase tickets direct at a total cost of £67...
Please check your tickets when issued and ensure that you have a bar code as this is what all of the trips require.

I tried logging in to my account via the web page and the app. Could not get in. Tried contacting tech support on phone. Got redirected to an incomprehensible offshore call center staffed by idiots. Tried the chat through their web page. It said wait time 1 minute. No response for 10 minutes.
I am regretting booking through them. Hopefully their tour operators are not this useless. I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN.
One star only because I could not give zero. AVOID THESE CLOWNS.

This site was very handy on a short visit ti Edinburgh as we only had a day to try & see as much as we could of the city on a whistle stop trip saw the castle & toured royal yacht Britannia next time will stay in Edinburgh for 3 or 4 nights & view sights properly!
Booked tour of Colesseum in Rome. Realised once booked that we had opted for the tour in Italian. It was our mistake. Contacted the company using the Whatsapp number and although it was late afternoon, early evening I got a response straightaway. The issue was resolved very quickly and we were booked with the correct guide. I was really impressed as to how easy it was to make the change. There was no charge.
We went on the activity Under the Bridges of Stockholm 2-hours trip and once we were there the staff working in the boat put us on the wrong one (1 hour trip, different route, different stops). After the activity we talked to the staff at the main office and told us that we will be refunded for the mistakes (4 tickets). Of course we wrote to the company as we payed for a two hour trip instead of 1 hour and they only refunded the 10% of the four tickets, which made no sense as the activity was much more expensive than the difference that we got back.
Not a good service, inexperienced and lost staff and also trying to steal money from the people.

I have used Gyg 5 times to book different excursions on different locations. Every time I was very satisfied with their service. I am finding this way of booking very convenient, cause I usually don't have time to go to the agency or call them during their working times to book a tour. I used to do that in the middle of the night, when I have time to check if there is still some tour available to book last minute, cause I have realized that I actually have enough time for that tour or that I actually want to go on that tour. Every time my booking was successful, I've received my tickets online and all the tours were great.
This company is fraudulently using our company name, Charleston Pirate Tours, in their Google ads. We have nothing to do with them. We get angry calls from their customers and have to explain that they did not buy tickets for our tour. We have asked them to stop using our name to no avail.

Get Your Guide advertised an 8 hour tour for $65 in San Antonio. We we arrived it was not the right tour and only lasted for 4 hours. This was a bait and switch tactic and this company should not bet in business. Stay away from Shady Get Your Guide.

We purchased six (6) tour tickets for Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona. All of our tickets from GetYourGuide were 34% more than we would have paid had we purchased them directly from the tour company's websites, inclusive of all taxes and fees. We paid $281 more than we would have paid the tour companies for the same tours.

They would charge you the full price if you cancelled less than 24hrs yet they called and cancelled my tour only 11hrs before tour time. Instead of a full refund they offered to put me in the "exact same" tour with one of their partners. Multiple last minute changes and general negligence and lack of guidance on their part seriously impacted our schedule, budget, and frame of mind on that day. Very stressful. What's most disappointing is that the alternative tour company only gave us a reduced version (1.5hrs Muir Woods) of the original tour that we booked (1.5hrs Muir Woods + 1.5 hrs Sausalito). When I brought this to their attention, they refused to give me a refund. Very unprofessional and dishonest. Whatever you do, just avoid them. Or book them if you want your trip ruined without even a refund.

My family of 7 booked an 8 hour tour Giza Pyramid Tour with Ashraf, our tour guide. He came to pick us up at the hotel and he brought us back. He was AWESOME! He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He treated us like family. He took us to one of the best restaurants, provided us with interesting facts about the museum, pyramid & sphynx. We learned about papyrus artwork & saw how it was made. He briefed us on what to expect during the tour, he gave us tips on money conversion and tips on how to act when approached by vendors trying to sell their product. He was with us the entire 8 hours. Ashraf was excellent! He made the tour fun and exciting. You must book your next tour with Ashraf!
About 20 minutes after making this reservation, my wife tested positive for Covid and I called to explain and cancel the reservation. They refused, unless I provided evidence, so I sent them the photo of the positive test. However, they insisted that she go to the doctor to get a letter, which she wasn't allowed to, the hotel wouldn't let her leave the room. I explained that we had spent the entire week together sharing a bed, and although I was negative, I felt it would be irresponsible to go, knowing I might have Covid and infect an entire tour. They didn't care, were completely inflexible and so I ended up going with my sister in law- however, when we arrived to the tour, it didn't exist. I checked afterwards to see, and there were 2 completely different addresses on the booking confirmation and the ticket (which were both issued by Get your Guide). Disputing the charge with Amex now, and hope everyone is aware of the scam.

Getyourguide is just a reseller and has no quality or accountability with third party providers. We had pre-booked tickets in Rome to the Collesium and Forum and they were cancelled just before the tour with no excuse - ruined our holiday
