We were clearly advised on the website a price in Aud but were then charged the same figure in euro. Very disappointing & would advise all customers to monitor very closely. I will not use them again as they were not at all understanding of our situation & provided absolutely no compensation of any amount
Their website has issues with accepting payment. Server error, booked a trip but cant pay for it. I was paying for all my trips, 2 went through, third one- payment error. Called credit card company, they are not blocking it. Tried using another credit card, same error. Called customer support ceter- they said they will look into it if I email them all my credit card details. No thanks. Very frustrating, booked a tour months in advance and now can't go because their website is not accepting payments.
GetYourGuide is a great resource and really easy to use. I have used it to book activities within New Zealand and the USA. I really appreciate the way it explains what is and is not included in the price, as well as things like what to know before you go and what to bring. Awesome how you can pay online and secure your place straight away too, which in some cases, also allows you to skip the queue. Only minor criticism is the search function could be improved - for example, I've found the 'Indoor' filter didn't work when I searched for it on the App, but did once I put the same search into Google.
We booked the Rio de Janeiro guided tour in a favela. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. Jefferson was amazing and treated us like family. The tour was very educational and insightful especially since it was from his perspective as a favela resident. Such an eye opening experience as much is hidden away from the public. We highly recommend Jefferson as your tour guide. He's the best!
The tours are good. However, trying to book them is a puzzle with no answer. I tried for 8 days to book 3 tours. I reached out to customer service through the phone and email. I got absolutely zero help. My advice is to book the exact same tours on Trip Advisor. They have responsive representatives and the site works.
Do not trust GetYourGuide. The company is not reliable. We booked a private tour of the Vatican for June 26, but the night before we suddenly got an email saying the tour was cancelled. There was no explanation. This tour was to be the highlight of our trip to Rome. We tried to find another Vatican tour, but the concierge at our hotel said everything was sold out. We will never again trust GetYourGuide to find us a guide anywhere.
We really enjoyed our tour of Venice with guide Giovanni.
He was very knowledgable, cheerful and took us on a great backstreet tour with some hidden gems, as well as pointing out some main must sees. We learnt loads on this tour.

This is a great app for finding tours in your destinations. The service from the app is great and the local providers are very responsive. I tried tours4fun and they were horrible. This will be the only company I use from now on.
Booked La Sagrada Familia Barcelona "skip the line" tour. There is no such thing... went in with all the other people that bought online tickets at a lesser rate through the actual Sagrada Familia website. Scam...

Fantastic app which works very well. Very informative and interesting. Some pauses which means you can stop at your leisure and even stop at the odd pub or two! Then starts at specific points en route. Would definitely recommend
Recently went on a so-called 5-star luxury overnight stay and cruise in a yacht in Lisbon after being asked by getyourguide 2 send a review I did so it was not entirely complementary and they have not published it.
Reichstag Berlin did not have us down on the list of visitors.We were stood round for 20 minster and luckily officials took pity on us and let us in to use the booked cafe. Keep clear of these cowboys.
We purchased tickets for a Valley of Fire tour outside of Las Vegas, and it was great. The tour operator picked us up at our hotel on the strip. Tour lasted 5.5 hours, including the trip out and back.
Do not book with this company, we booked a tour and were not notified through email or text that our tour time was no longer available and that we would have to wait 2 hours for the next one. Why sell a tour that you have no availability for? Management is ridiculous, we asked to be prioritised for any free spots for the next tour and instead they had put 2 other people (who had not booked anything) on the next tour before us.
Can't say enough good things about this experience. Ease to book and pay!

But the camel ride and sunset dinner was awesome. The guides were wonderful and very helpful. This was truly a great experience
I appreciated that the tour was longer than advertised. The issue is that the tour guide's English was extremely poor. It was difficult to understand. It should have been much cheaper. I would definitely not pay anything more than 25€.

I bought my tickets to the coliseum way in advance and days before my trip they canceled my reservation. After I had already been charged. They do this so that at the last minute we pay more. Horrible. NO integrity.
We were supposed to be shown the pulpit rock which many of us missed seeing. The tour guide should have announced earlier as we were approaching the site to be on the lookout for it.
Secondly the were promised that the tour would end exactly at 1pm- it actually was really delayed by 30 to 40 minutes

We own one of the top ranked tour companies in NYC and the service that this supplier provided to our guests was so outrageous, we cancelled our relationship. The list goes on, but they refuse to give you the travel partners details until AFTER you book and many times they will book you on a tour not even provided or blocked my the supplier... and get this, they would change the description of out tours provided to BAIT you into booking with our consent... and they provide incorrect tour locations... after 60K in bookings, we said hell no!
