Stay away! Beware!

Do not purchase anything from this company! Buyer Beware. They will cancel your tickets without warning and will not assist you in any way. No one will contact you leaving you without any help or tickets for your event. Customer Service sucks and they will not get a supervisor to assist you. I purchased tickets to Disney for New Years Eve and they cancelled the order without my warning or notification! Do not buy from these people they are scammers! Buyers Beware!

I would not recommend this tour to anyone. The tour left 3:00 pm for a Sunset Tour and within 20 minutes of departure, the air conditioning on the bus broke down. The driver pulled over and got off the bus to make a call without informing the passengers of anything. Our friend communicated to everyone that she overheard the driver speaking to someone in an attempt to get us another bus. She also had to ask the bus driver for water. There were 20 people on the bus and there was an inadequate supply of water. It was 95 degrees in the bus. A bus arrived to return us to our hotels and we were told that we would not be going to the Grand Canyon today. Efforts were made to put us on another tour in the morning, but since we had already booked for other activities and had to return by 6:00 pm, they could not accommodate us. When we booked the tour, we were told that the maximum number of people would be 14. We had 20. We were also told that we would have a sprinter. We did not.

Extremely Unreliable

I highly do not recommend using this service as it has proven that it is highly unreliable. I purchased my tickets to Alhambra Palace tour and received the confirmed tickets on my email. Accordingly I went to meet the guide at the entrance on the specified time and location. Surprisingly, while I'm waiting with my family, I received a message on my mobile phone from them that my reservation is cancelled due to non availability of tickets. Until this moment, I do not know what happened. I talked to them to find alternative reservation but they declined. All what I know is that my kids were extremely disappointed and we left GRANADA without visiting Alhambra palace. In addition, until this moment I did not receive the refund for my tickets.

It was great to have Leslie as a guide as she's very knowledgeable about Scandinavian History and knows about all the interesting things to visit in Copenhagen. Our walk ended exactly at 12pm with the change of the guards. I strongly recommend her for the tours!

Most enjoyable but driver had to very hard to complete schedule. Farm visits very good and lunch fine. Driver very knowledgeable about island. A lot of driving but island much bigger than we thought. Would recommend overnight trip in hindsight.

You are unprofessional, unsympathetic and a joke!
Remember me? The one you charged £86? For a tour that was cancelled only after I sent you s message querying my pick-up time?

Remember all the messages you conveniently ignored? The fact that I paid for a flight, a hotel, taxi etc... to a tune of £200? Who is responsible for reimbursing me?

You have no right just to cancel a tour, then assume the customer will go away... oh no. I want to be reimbursed for my 37.5 hours of sitting in a hotel room watching the walls O

Easy to book, amazing local history and knowledge from our tour guide and delicious food and drink from wonderful vendors and restaurants we never would have found. We returned to one the next day and had the best tapas ever!

We had planned a city trip to Rome, with of course a visit to the Vatican City. On the site there is a price for € 17 per person, it is also on the ticket that was eventually obtained, but we paid € 161 for 2 people. Sorry, but we find these gangster practices very scandalous, if you see that thousands of visitors visit the Vatican City every day. They are scammers!

This is a great service for finding tours and activities. I had an amazing tour of Iceland with Nice Travel Iceland, with the charming and knowledgeable David. I also booked a whale watching tour with SeaTrips Reykjavik on the beautiful Amelia Rose. They had a fabulous guide, aptly named Lucky, who helped us spot many whales and puffins. I am very pleased I found this company!

I book a trip to Rottnest Island for 14 people from the start never got any help with questions or phone calls it took hours to get through with still no help. The worst customer service please don't book with these guys just go straight to company you wish to book with so much easier and straight up answers.

Totally recommend this tour with Juan and Carlos. My wife and I had a great time learning about the city and gaining information that one wouldn't find on their own.

My wife especially enjoyed the direct "English" interaction during the tour. Most of the other tours we took were bilingual (which were great!) but this private tour interaction was more personalized.

Overall, I would recommend this tour.

Hassle free Trip planning

I went to Dubai for the first time and I was all alone. Though I was nervous, didn't even have a local contact number, I had no issues in my entire trip with the activities booked through Get Your Guide. No printouts required, mobile vouchers are enough. The local guides get in touch with you through WhatsApp so make sure to give your WhatsApp contact when you book withthem. Mostly in Dubai there is wifi everywhere in hotels, malls etc. Makes it convenient.

They will steal your money if you aren't careful

Their link came up when google searching for specific tickets while visiting Lisbon so I purchased the service thinking I was buying those tickets. I ended up not using the service because it did not include the tickets I needed. I contacted the company and explained the situation and requested refund but they gave me some run around and said I can't receive refund because requested refund through Paypal. I admit to buying the service by mistake, but I don't think it's good business to refuse refund for services not redeemed.

We had a terrible customer service experience with GetYourGuide. We cancelled a tour within their 24-hour window online but we did not receive a confirmation email. When we contacted the company to follow-up we were informed by them that we did not cancel within the 24 hour window and they refused to refund our money for the tour. We were informed by them that since we didn't receive a confirmation email back after cancelling that meant that we were not within the 24 hour window. It was fruitless and frustrating trying to get assistance from them. Unfortunately, although we travel quite a bit we would never use this company again and recommend buyer beware.

Easy to use

Very easy to use and navigate, with clear instruction on how to prepare for the trip and follow-up by tour providers. I booked three different tours, and each one was fantastic (I owe this to the quality of the tour operators - Get Your Guide made it easy for us to access these high quality tour operators). Only limitation are options for the tours ie. We recently booked a kayaking tour listed as a sunset tour. There were no options for morning tours. It was not until we were in contact with the tour guide that she questioned why we chose the sunset as we had small children, and I had explained that there was no option on time of day. She was going to follow-up, so not sure whose responsibility to itemize the options.

During a 1 and 1/2 hour bus ride from Geneva Switzerland to chamonix France, the guide asked all patrons on the bus if we wanted to purchase cable car and train tickets in chamonix France. I selected only to purchase the train tickets which were $10 a piece but I was charged for the cable car as well which was an additional $97 per person * 3. When I brought this to their attention, they absolutely, flat out refused to provide a refund even though I was able to provide them with the specific tickets we were given which displayed a ticket number which could have been used to show that it was not used for the cable car. They were unreasonable and not flexible at all. Will never use them again.
