I hired your company with the understanding that I would receive high-quality, professional moving services. I paid more than a competitor because I was assured—that your team delivers excellence. What I received instead was a nightmare. As the sole person handling this move due to my husband's wheelchair needs, I needed reliable help. You sent three young movers who, while polite, were completely unfit for the job. It took them over an hour to dismantle a simple metal bed. They forgot a TV at the old house and tried to blame me. They couldn't get a treadmill into the basement without help from my brother-in-law and a friend, and one mover casually walked off to get a blanket while the equipment was being held in mid-air—no urgency, no sense of safety. They damaged my walls and floors and dragged the move out from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m.—15 hours—with constant delays, inefficiency, and excuses. They needed babysitting every step of the way. I was so exhausted and frustrated, I paid just to get them out of my home. Throughout all of this, this company kept assuring me that my claim would be reviewed and someone would follow up. Nothing. No call, no resolution, no responsibility taken. Hence, I'm posting this review—and I'm just getting started. You will be in a mess if you choose to deal with this company. I will be posting more reviews, on different platforms because I have much more to say.

I have used their services a few times for short-distance moving. They are very punctual and work efficiently, offering more reasonable prices compared to other movers in the market. They are also highly responsive and flexible when it comes to accommodating the moving date. Recently, I recommended them to a friend who was looking to move within town, and he was also happy with their services. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a move!

I was in a huge rush to move out of my unit into a different apartment because I work full time and didn't have much time to pack on my own. However, the team that helped me, John and Tim, took care of packing practically my entire apartment for me and did it super efficiently! They brought their own boxes, which we needed when we ran out of my own boxes. Additionally, they brought wardrobe boxes so we could just leave the clothes from my apartment on their hangers. My TV and artwork were safely transported, and they even reassembled my complicated bed frame in my new place. These guys were great, and I highly recommend them to others!

I recently had the worst experience with get movers. I had asked to deliver my goods from Regina to Abbotsford. It was picked up on 27 June 2023 and since then there has been no news from Get movers regarding an update of my delivery. They were not providing any support or assistance regarding my delivery. After making several attempts they finally delivered my goods in the 2nd week of August,2023 through some other driver who are not part of get movers. Now it has been found that there is a Bag which is missing. Despite informing them about the missing bag. There is no response from them.There is no proper enquiry or coordination. They even blocked my calls whenever I make calls through another cell phone they always say we still are waiting for an update.
They just take the money and thereafter no response. Please stop dealing with these people

ZERO STARS. DO NOT EVER USE GETMOVERS.CA. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR PEACE OF MIND, RUIN YOUR FURNITURE, LOOT MONEY AND PROVIDE POOREST SERVICE.

I USED THEIR SERVICE IN JULY 2023 FROM MISSISSAUGA TO KITCHENER IN ONTARIO AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE.

1. The driver could not arrive at the location and cannot use a GPS properly. They passed by my residence and yet went 3 blocks away and called me saying they arrived. I was standing outside my building in the middle of the road to give them directions and they could not even speak or understand English instructions. They were unable to describe their intersection and unable to give clear direction in English. They wasted 40 minutes there.

2. We packed everything sturdily and labelled clearly what items are fragile, which side is up and what needs to be carefully handled. They did not even bother to see the instructions and handled every box very roughly holding anything upside down. Even the costly leather couch was very roughly handled.
We had to repeatedly mention for each and every item to handle properly or wrap it or blanket it, and they still damaged items. Our furniture was stepped on and broken. The broken table with boot print marks on top was heartbreaking to see. Why on earth did they use our furniture as a step stool. What professional does that?

3. After unloading, they did not unwrap the items. Also, they just dropped the boxes marked as fragile on floor from a height instead of placing them gently. We are yet to open all boxes and see what other damages has been caused inside.

I'm glad i did not use your packing service too. Otherwise the move would end in a disaster.

4. They did not unwrap anything and just left in a hurry, because they wanted to run before we see or notice the damage. They stepped on some of the furniture and even broke a tv table and tore a mattress. Photos attached.

5. After the payment was done, they just delayed purposely for more than 30 mins just to complete the time. They only had one last trolley with boxes and they took very long. So they charged me for more time.

6. They did not care to wrap properly and also did not use blankets for most of the items.

This is very disappointing experience even after paying so much of our hard earned money. On phone calls while booking and also at confirming one day before, you mentioned twice that you will take care of the items and wrap them with care. But in reality it did not happen. Everything was carelessly and roughly handled.

After making multiple calls all this they asked to raise a claim and after I submitted the claim with photographs all damages worth more than $3000, they rejected it saying you already signed a form. I signed that form for payment before 45 mins of completion of unloading as per their terms before booking. Now they are showing this form and saying claim is rejected.

I don't usually write a bad review for a company but hiring Get Movers was a terrible experience for us and I feel the need to warn others. When the moving truck arrived with a name on it that we didn't recognize, it became clear that they subcontract - so there is unpredictability there and you don't know the quality of the movers you're going to get.

The movers took items to our storage area off site and at that site they pressured us into paying before they finished the job. When we got home from the storage unit we found gouges in our wall, scratches all over our basement floor and extensive damage to our basement door and trim around it.

On the same day, we sent an email with photos of the damage, which they completely ignored. After numerous attempts at getting through to them they sent us a claim form which we filled out, and after two weeks they still didn't get back to us to resolve the issue. So again we had to contact them and when they finally responded they said they rejected our claim because we already paid them. They made us pay them when we were off site and couldn't check to see if there was damage at the house. When we told them that, they again ignored us and haven't bothered to reply.

It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that claims to have great customer service and exceptionally professional staff when in reality they have given us horrible service and damaged our home. The person at Get Movers who we dealt with is Victor Kerr, who didn't care at all about us and treated us with contempt.

Don't recommend at all, don't call them don't even mention their name.
Am a Veteran am used to move a lot and always good service with moving companies but these guys totally my worst nightmare.

I have moved several times in my life but the worst mistake that I have ever made was getting this company to do my move. The red flag was there at the beginning when they were calling and emailing me to send E-transfer deposit. I paid $150 deposit for the packing and $150 deposit for the move. I was charged $190 for a truck on the packing day when the packers showed up in my house on scooters. Some guy who claimed to be the supervisor dropped off Home Depot boxes and papers for them. They brought zero wardrobe boxes to pack a 4bedroom house. The packers barely speak English and had ZERO ZERO ZERO experience in packing, I MEAN ZERO. We ended up packing our breakable items ourself to avoid a disaster. The packers labeled all the boxes the same "THINGS", no proper labeling of master bedroom, kids bedroom, bath, etc. All boxes labeled as things so my wife has to relabel all the boxes. Bedroom items were mixed in the same box with bathroom stuff. In one box with my clothes, they put iron with water in it and got everything inside the box wet. When my wife called the so call supervisor, he told her that it was her fault that she should be paying close attention to what they were doing. At the end of the day, half of my stuffs were left unpacked. At the end of the packing day, they gave us a verbal bill of $1669 with no explanation or breakdown. No written bill or invoice. They requested for a cash payment or to write my credit card information on a piece of paper to take with them. I refused to do so until they provide me with a written bill and no way that I will write down my credit card info on a piece of paper for them. They refused to leave my house, finally they provided an email invoice after multiple phone calls to the office speaking with different people and I paid them. The worst part of the ordeal was that each time I call the office, I will get a different person. When I ask for the person that I spoke with previously, it is either the person has left the company or off that day or in a remote location or has gone for the day. Infact in one of my numerous call the office, one lady was laughing when I was complaining about their terrible service, very obnoxious. I requested to speak with the owner?"Ken", never happened. I was told he will call me back, still waiting after more than a week.
Moving day was the same ordeal, they showed up in trailer hitched on 4X4 truck. The first 30minutes were spent arguing with them because they wanted to load the boxes first and my furnitures at the end but I wanted them to load my most needed items first. We were told that they will leave if we persist so we lent them do it their way. They were able to move all my stuffs and completed the job at 1am, total of 14hrs. Requested to be paid before off loading my stuffs, we paid them. I have been calling and emailing them to send me receipt/invoice of my payment, they have not responded to my request. I called 4times today, no one answered my call and no one returned the messages I left for them to call me back.
I have to admit that the movers did a fairly good job even though they were very unprofessional and argumentative.
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. They made me feel as if it was my fault giving them a job to do. I believe they take moving jobs and use subcontractor with no experience for the job.
I will continue to wait for the invoice of the move that I paid for more than one week ago

I wasn't expecting their service as as good as it is turned out to be. The local crew they sent for my move was very polite and professional. The move took 4.5 hours with all the heavy stuff we needed to relocate.

Do not hire... They out Source jobs to any Joe plow. My things got damaged and things were stolen when addressing this to Tony the management. He doesn't give a $#*! about you or your things. Do Not Hire...

I used this company twice. This time they helped me move a piano from my house to a storage unit. They gave me flat rate and did their job the next day. Quick adn efficient. No complaints at all.

Thanks to this company my move was quick and I was able to go ahead with my life after just four hours. The crew that was assigned for this order was really good, they were acting swiftly and without causing any inconveniences. Will definitely use them again.

Thanks to Get Movers I was able to move on June 1st! Very last minute notice was made because my movers canceled the move one day before. Jane arranged a move in the evening, and my overall experience was really good. Although movers arrived at 8 PM, the only time they had available, we were done by 11 PM. The crew was so exhausted after a long day, but completed their task perfectly anyway.

After waiting the hour buffer for them and arrive, no show...
Called them, got through right away, was told they would call back...waited.then called back and they wouldn't answer.tried different numbers with the same avail, had others call on my behalf...same thing...
4 hours later they completely blocked me.
Different excuses and alternate times to get to me...
Nothing...

This company significantly simplified my move. I thought I would have to get 2 trucks and 4 movers, but they made me understand that a 28-feet truck and 3 guys will be enough for a 4-bedroom house. And they were right, it was all done within 8 hours, including all disassembling and reassembling.

Get Movers organized a move for my mother when she was going to her new house. They also helped her to get rid of unnecessary items and took it all to a place she donated it to. The crew was nice and quick, not a single reason to decrease their rating. 5 out of 5.

This company helped us to move some stuff to our summer residence in rural area, and there were no issues during the move. Furniture stayed intact and the move didn't take too long. I think we will use them again in the future, since this was a good service worth it's price.

Wonderful service, provided by nice people. They had all my needs met when I was moving from St.Catherines to Regina. It took some time though, but it wasn't a problem, since I knew that it has to happen in the 21 business days. My stuff arrived after 19 days, and it was all in the same condition as on the departure day
