Horrible service
January 10, 2025

My husband dropped his vehicle off on Dec 11 for a simple bumper repair. Today's date is Jan 10.and we still have no clue as to when the repairs will be done. We were told two different things by two different Gerber employees. All parts are in. Then no. Waiting on parts!? Our insurance company just called and told us that Gerber told them that our vehicle was completely done on Jan 3rd. A bold faced lie. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THESE PEOPLE!

FARMINGTON ARKANSAS

"I recently had my car repaired at Gerber Collision, and my experience was disappointing. My car was clean when I dropped it off, but when I picked it up, it was dirty with rain spots and dust, making it difficult to inspect the repair quality. This lack of care seemed to hide several issues: the fender wasn't installed correctly, the hood wasn't center-aligned, and the car pulled to the right due to misaligned steering. Additionally, there was a dent in the hood, which wasn't addressed despite being part of the damage.

Afterward, I went to another collision center for a second opinion, and they immediately noticed all the issues I had raised. While the receptionist at Gerber was kind and professional, the repair quality and lack of attention to detail from management were disappointing."Teresa

Made the mistake of dropping my vehicle off here for repairs. The lack of their work ethics from the top of management to the bottom where Zach sits. They don't give you updates on repairs. Wait they will after you give them a few days to force themselves to do so. They hang up on you if you call. Or keep you on hold hoping you hang up.
This place is a joke. If you value your time and Money. Don't take trouble vehicle here. Anywhere is better than this place.

Bad customer service
February 14, 2024

This is my second review. In October I had a car accident, my car was repaired, getting to that point was a nightmare. Of course I had to take it back due to a lose part that wasn't put on correctly. But the reason for my new review is the fact that my car has been repaired since December 1,2023 and to this day (02/14/2024) the insurance has not received the invoice therefore can't close out my file with the diminshed value claim. Multiple calls with Morgan the worst customer service rep I have ever experienced were made by me as well as by the insurance company. Promises that this will be handled the same day were made but nothing happened. On 2/12/2024 I called customer service at corporate and was promised a call from the General Manager of the store within 24 hours. Nothing happened. Another call was made to the shop by insurance today, another promise was made. I strongly recommend not using this shop if you value your time!

DON'T TRUST GERBER COLLISON! Trust me friend, tyrn around, and go elsewhere. You don't want the headache of these loser turds. YOU NEVER EVEN ATTEMPTED TO CALL BEAR RIVER MUTUAL INSURANCE! YOU NEVER EVEN CONTRACTED THEM. They had my car for 5 days! In all that time they never got the insurance payment settled. They call Mr at 4:10pm on Friday to tell me "Your car is all ready to be picked up!" I GET TO THE SHOP AND STILL HAVE NOT HEAR FROM BEAR RIVER. DESPITE CORBIN TELLING ME " DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE PAYMENT, WE WILL GET PAID FROM THE INSURANCE DIRECTLY. Your Manager comes out and raises his voice at me multiple times "YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR CAR TODAY. WE ARE NOT RELEASING YOUR CAR! HOPE YOU GOT A RIDE...SO MY CAR GETS TO SIT IN YOUR PARKING LOT ALL SUPERBOWL WEEKEND BECAUSE CORBIN DID NOT GET THE MONEY FROM BEAR RIVER LIKE HE SAID HE WOULD. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO LOSE ALL CERTIFICATIONS.

Complete scum bags.
January 29, 2024

Overpriced. Bad work. Scam. They first didn't give me an estimate until they started working on the vehicle. How is that even legal. Then they busted my radiator and I couldn't even drive it off the lot. They denied having anything to do with it. Now my window won't roll up and down correctly on the door they "repaired" after I literally payed 6,500. These people are scam artist. Not only did they overcharge by thousands, broke the radiator, denied it, but they didn't even fix my damn door correctly. 1000% worst auto decision of my life I gravely regret dealing with these people.

P.s go review those one star comments and you will see I am not the only one the people have $#*!ed around!

DO NOT GO HERE- LIARS!
January 3, 2024

I took my car to the Albertville location on Dec 27th. The guy at the front said they could get it done by the end of January. I left my car there. Got a call a week later telling me that I could drop off my car on Feb 2nd to be worked on. THEY ALREADY HAD THE CAR! I said what happened to January and they said we fired the other guy and now it would be until late February. I went in person and spoke to the GM (JUSTIN) and he said he would make it right. The next day the girl (RACHELLE) at the front called and said they made a mistake and they couldn't get to it until mid-February. I said what happened and she replied things change and I didn't need to get it fixed here if I didnt want. The GM didnt even have the guts to call me himself? He sends his rude front desk girl?
GERBER is ruining their reputation in a small town area. The former local owner who sold out would have done anything to make it right. NEVER GO HERE!

Lies lies lies
December 19, 2023

They have had my granddaughter's truck for 6 weeks and it was a simple fender bender with a deer. She has maxed out her car rental allowance and for the last 2 weeks they keep saying tomorrow tomorrow and tomorrow never comes. I called this morning to find out if it was done and they said they would check into it and have somebody call me back. His name is Kyle and when I called again they said oh Kyle's home sick I am sick and tired of watching my granddaughter go through this BS it's just one excuse after another. I called some other body shops and they said oh god no we would never have it that long for those kind of damages so if you don't care if you get your truck back anytime soon take it there

Repairs on 2023 Honda HRV
September 24, 2023

So I went to speak to Manager Travis at the Zephyrhills location on a almost $9,000 repair done to my Honda HRV. I pointed out a paint smudge at the bottom of my rear passenger door on the bottom courner section. He told me as far as industry standards if you are 6 feet away of the vehicle it's meet requirements as it was painted by hand; in other words "It's ok ' but he wanted for me to be happy so what I wanted to do? I felt that as the Manager he should deliberately should have taken care of the situation instead he directed me to speak to a Jessica to make an appointment so it can be rectified. I felt he should of taken charge as a Manager and took care of me directly as it was an expensive repair done and it should of been done the right way. I wouldn't recommend this place to no one even not even my family members which I spoke highly about the place and they checked out the repair done and noticed the paint smudge. So sadly to say I am terribly dissatisfied with this location at Gerber Collision and Glass repair in Zephyrhills.

Just the silly name was enough for me to quickly figure out they weren't touching my car. My insurance specify's this baby food sounding collision repair shop but I took my car to a more reputable shop near me and, I was told it would be 6 weeks before they could take it in, however it has been 5 months. I guess they didn't want to deal with my cheapo insurance company trying to get a $2600.00 repair minus $1000 deductable approved. Gee, no wonder my car insurance is so cheap. This is what a small tree limb did to my hood in case you're curious.

If this repair shop is suggested to you RUN dont walk to Lawton Collision, Jamey and Adam at Gerber Collision just tell you things to get you off of the phone. No customer service, no help whatsoever! I hit a deer on 6/9 at 7 am, my insurance company suggested Gerber Collision. My jeep was towed there from the crash, no one looked at my jeep until 06/13. I began receiving texts from them at least every other day stating that the repair was on time to be completed 06/30, I called 06/29 to find out what time I needed to be there to pick up my jeep only to be told that they were still waiting on coolant lines and they were arriving the next Mon and my jeep would be completed 07/14. I called again on 07/13 to be told that it would be ready 07/16 that painting needed to be completed. Called 07/15 to be told that the wrap needed to be finished and the codes cleared it would be 07/22.07/22 called and was told it was still at the vendor. Had my insurance company call and they were told it would be completed late that evening. Called for the next 3 days to be told it was still at the vendor for the front flare, grill and hood to be wrapped. However when I had the entire jeep wrapped it only took 3 days! I went on vacation and was told it would be completed when I returned. I called today 08/01 to be told it would be back from the vendor and the codes cleared by tomorrow afternoon. I contacted my insurance company their Administration is contacting Gerber, docking their payment and removing them from the suggested repair shop.

Took my SUV to, Gerber collision to repair stretches on the hood and rear quarter panel on my Cadillac SUV. I was told it would take a week or week and half to get my car back, took over a month to get my car back. After getting my car back, I had to take my car back twice so the technician at Gerber to correct work was completed. First time I took my car back to Gerber "Molding wasn't place and snapped back on correctly". Two months later took my car back to Gerber because my sensor in my bumper fell out my bumper. I took my car to Cadillac Dealership in Sav. Ga to repair, I was told the bracket on my bumper was broke the cost too expensive to repair at Cadillac in Sav. So, I took my car to my local mechanic to repair. I decided to take my car back to Gerber and let them know their technician did not do a good job repairing my car. After talking to their auto claim inspector, initially the person started looking at a stretch on my bumper in order to justified not to do anything for me by saying someone hit my bumper. To sum my visit at Geber, my warranty on the work Gerber did on my car were voided because I had my sensor repaired at another mechanic. USAA use Gerber collision for all their insurance claim mistake on usaa part. Gerber collision repair work not good. Painting clear coat over stretches, broken bumper bracket, molding not replaced correctly just to name a few faults. I'm sure some folks have a good experience with this company. I did not and I could not recommend Gerber here in, Hinesville Ga.

Gerber was a USAA "approved provider" at the time of my auto accident on 1/13/22. Repair work had to be redone twice - once for bondo work issues (contour lines didn't match the opposite side) and once for paint blemishes. Took months to get the car back and all seemed to be OK until I got an oil change - the 2 front tires had been completely chewed up. When I went back to Gerber, they found nothing wrong. I then went to an alignment shop and the left front ball joint was completely loose (causing the extreme tire wear). In the accident, Gerber repaired the right front side of the suspension - they told me the accident didn't cause the damage to the left front ball joint and I would have to pay for it. Too coincidental especially since I heard a sporadic clunking sound on the left front side in the days and weeks after I picked up my car from Gerber. Fortunately USAA agreed with me instantly and set me up with Caliber Collusion in Riverview, FL. It would appear Gerber has been removed as an approved USAA provider - not surprising to me given the issues I had with Gerber (likely I was not the first and only complainant).
