My part was easy to find and was in stock. But the method of shipping (FedEx) was changed to USPS causing a delivery delay of 2 days from the estimated delivery date. NO shipping notification via email or delay notification of possible delay was sent. When I checked the site for the status of my order it read "processing" which lead me to believe it had not even shipped and it was already a day late. I was left to wonder if my part was coming or if the website was a scam.
I tried calling customer service, got a message company was open but no one is answering phones and to try chat. Tried chat and it said 'Chat is unavailable" try email. Hours later I got an email stating the item has shipped here is the tracking number. No other explanation was given.
Poor customer service. The part was great. And it did ship promptly but without communcation and then not receiving the part on time it caused me to wonder if the company was legit. If the order on my account had read "shipped" and gave a tracking number then all would have been well. I understand shipments can be delayed once they leave the warehouse but I was left to believe it had not even shipped but was still in "processing".
Showing it was still "in processing" caused unneccessary concern. When I couldn't reach anyone I was considering canceling the charge via my CC and order from someplace else.
Communication and accurate reporting on your website for customer accounts is key to avoiding conflicts and overwhelming your customer service with questions about ship dates.
