I should have checked here first. I ordered replacement filters for my refrigerator. They sent me the wrong part (not even close). I used the website to get an RMA to return them (wrong part sent was not a choice for reason for return!) and they gave me on along with a return address label. The label was not postage paid, they expect me to pay for the return of an incorrect part delivery! What a ripoff. They do not answer the phone nor do they respond to emails. DO NOT do business with this outfit!
I'm extremely dissatisfied with the GE Parts Store online. Despite claiming to ship within 2-3 business days, my order was delayed. Worse, when I tried to make changes within 12 hours, I was told it was impossible. The website's return and exchange policy is inflexible, and customer service was unhelpful. I advise caution when using this website, as their policies and shipping times may not align with their claims. A disappointing experience from a reputable brand like GE.
Ordered a spare part, sent a completely destroyed part upon delivery (glass heater) they sent me an address for return, the cost of delivery for return is more expensive than the part. Just threw away money, the workers do not care about the packaging of the goods. Why return it at all, waste of money, time and senseless actions and waste of fuel
I wish I would have checked here first. I only needed a knob replacement! It has been two weeks and no change in the order status. So I called after having to wait since you can only call certain hours Monday through Friday only, you can't email, there is no chat function. The day I called, it has changed to shipped. I was told I would be emailed a tracking number, that was never received. I did speak to someone who said it is shipped and I should get it tomorrow. I asked for the tracking number since I never got an email, she gave me a 30 digit number and said it was USPS. Of course that tracking number is not recognized. We will see if it is received tomorrow. If not I will put a claim on my credit card. I could have gotten the same part off of Amazon for $10 less and in two days and better customer service. Wish I had seen that to start with.

I ordered Water Filters for my refrigerator. I received a "Shipment Notification" but when I go and "Track the Order" all it says is "Your Shipment Is Being Prepared" - it's been saying that for 3 weeks! I tried calling but no one ever answers. Tried e-mailing and received an e-mail back once but have never heard anything again. Tried the "Chat with an Agent" and that was useless. Basically got "it's not my job". Amazing, they had no problem taking my money!
Ordered stove door handle on 6/17/20. Today is 7/28/20 and still no part or communication from them. I held two hours on a call to them, hung up and tried the chat feature. "Computers are down, let me call you back". No call, no part. I, too, am beginning to believe this is a scam site. My credit card company refunded my $58.
We ordered from PartSelect.com and got the handle in two days.
I have called twice asking about my order update. GE is NOT an off brand company. This is ridiculous! I should have read the google reviews before ordering my product. This is ridiculous! I placed my order in January 2024. As of today, 3/13/24 no product.
We ordered 4 parts from GE. Three came by Fed X with no problem. The fourth was not received. After four calls to GE Parts I was told that it was to be delivered by Pilot Trucking. GE Parts customer service could not follow up with Pilot to determine when I would get the shipment. They said it was my responsibility not theirs as the shipper. They should change the name of their customer service department to Customer No Help
This company is impossible to deal with. I ordered a part for two day shipping and checked the next day. I received an email that their online ordering system was broken and that I would have to re-order the part so I cancelled the order. Two days later they shipped the part. When I called customer service their only response was that I would have to return the part for refund. This has already cost me an hour of my time and I still have to take the part to a shipper so I will lose more time. They have no respect for my time.
My parts were ordered on 03/02/21. They charged my card on 03/05/21. On 03/15/21 I called and they told me the parts had been on back order but were now in stock and they would be shipped today (Michelle). On 03/16/21 they are still not shipped which means they lie.
On 09/08/21 I ordered a pack of 3 water filters for my GE Profile Fridege. $170.00 for 3 filters. It is 09/22/21 and I have yet to receive my filters. They tell you that tracking is simple by going to their geapplience.com/parts. NOT TRUE, put in my order number *******445 and nothing. Not only do they take advantage of the chip they put in their filters so you can't buy aftermarket and the charge ridiculous prices their service is horrible. I would not buy another GE Product.

They don't allow you to cancel your order even they need 1 month to prepare shipping. There was no sign showed it was out of stock. I called them 3 times, and I was been transffered maybe 15 times. I ended up with waiting 2 monthes, and returned it on my own cost.
I called to order a part when speaking to the representative they assisted me with the part number needed.
When i received the part it was not the same as the previous one. When I called back to explain they sent the wrong part i was told they sent a substitute and some times they do not work. They were supposed to send me a return label via mail and i did not receive it. When i called back the same number i called the day before i was told i needed to call another number because they don't issue return labels from that department. Look like the representative just lied to me to get me off the phone. Will never use again!
I ordered a part on April 26th and never received it! Order number *******368. Called to get help and was transferred 4 times and never received a refund or the part! Customer service just kept transferring me to different people! Never got issue resolved and never got refund so now I'm at a loss!
A very good experience. Found out the part I needed for my GE microwave (touch panel), bought the part (it came within a few days), and the microwave works again. Saved $400 and couldn't have been easier.

We purchased 2 GE water filters at Lowes - XWFE - $108.23. We quickly noticed the water began to come out very slow, and we replaced the filter again. Our problem continued and we called a technician. At the cost of $109, the technician said our water filters were defective and we needed to return to GE. Contacted GE on line and they said we needed to return to Lowes. Lowes gave us credit for one, because we had it, but even with receipt, they both were purchased over 6 months ago and they sent me back to GE. GE online support will not acknowledge emails or requests to replace or refund. Disappointing customer service - actually NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ordered a bolt... it's now 2 weeks later and the online status says "picked"... and has for over a week.
Tried calling, after 30+ minutes waiting... I hung up.
Sent email... after 3 days still no reply.
When I placed the order they told me they are NOT part of GE... but an independent 3rd party.
I have purchased the item WR97X**************-1-EBS you recommended for my refrigerator Model # DSE25JMHECES Serial #VG*******, It does not match. The purpose of ordering from GE was to get a perfect match, otherwise, I could have gone to a paint store and have gotten a dark gray paint. I have now paid $29.53 with tax and shipping for 3/10 of an ounce of paint that does not match. I could have gotten a gallon of gray paint for that from the paint store and maybe had a better match than the one I got.
I believe this business to be fraudulent. You should look for any legitimate alternative. Do not make the same mistake I made.
