What happened to Galls? They used to be one of the best places to get things, not anymore it seems. I placed an order for a pair of boots. All the way through the checkout process they were, "In Stock, Ships Within 24-Hours." Put all my info and credit card in, hit Place Order. Next screen for Order Received now states the boots will not ship until 12/12/22, two months away and they charged my credit card. Seriously wtf Galls? Called the next day to cancel the order. Then the day after that I looked at the order on Galls website and it still says processing! Finally got the order cancelled I hope, will have to wait a few days to ensure the charge comes off my credit card. But will never be buying anything from Galls again.
2The whole point on online shopping convenience and peace of mind.bought some pants that were not on par what i needed in the field.would not exchnage because it was on clearance. Clearly not what i wanted.i wanted to exchange and pay difference. They said.nothing could be done.will not shop here ever again. Lost a potential longtime customer
Ordered a tactical vest for a friend in Ukraine and was told it would be shipped soon. Three weeks later, no vest. Called today and the lady on the other end of the line said it was on back order from the shipper, same line as two weeks ago. Terrible service. Do not oder from Galls.
This company is the worst of the worse. I ordered a jacket from Galls on 11-4-2021 and was told seven different times by the reps that my jacket would get to me in 7-10 days. It has been almost 7 weeks and no jacket. They even told me that FedEx would overnight the jacket, No jacket still in warehouse. This company is horrible and I do not recommend anyone to order anything from Galls. I was told a different lie each time I called. Account reps do not return calls and if they do they are slow in doing so. If I could rate them a -0 I would.
I has sent multiple requests for the package to be cancelled, no response for 3 days. Only response was oh it's to late it's ready to be shipped, that's 3 days of multiple requests to cancel it. Very very bad customer service
If I could give no stars to this company, I would! As a Law Enforcement representative, it is embarrassing to associates with the Galls (Riverside, Ca location). My Jacket was brand new (still with tags on) was too small for me. I went to Galls and asked, if I was able to exchange my jacket for a bigger size? There was two associates working the back, tailoring area. The skinny lady was super nice, but the bigger lady, the one who helped me, was horrible. She immediately had an attitude and accused me of wearing the jacket. When I told her, I was issued the jacket and it was never worn, she then asked for my information and said, I wasn't in the system, so she's not taking the jacket back. I understand if the policy prohibits them from taking back a brand new jacket, nothing I can do. The customer service on the other hand, could be a little more professional. This store doesn't back its Law Enforcement representatives, definitely a store you can't rely on…..
On December 15 I placed an order for two pairs of boots because it said online that The estimated shipping date would be on December 16. On December 30 I contacted customer support to check on my order. I was told that it was boxed and was ready to be shipped out it should be shipped out today on the 30th. I was told the delay was because of the holidays. It is now January 5 and I called customer support once again to check on my order. I was told again that my boots were packaged and ready to be shipped and all it needs is a shipping label. I was told that I should get an email today with a tracking number. If I don't get an email today I'll probably just cancel my order. Definitely will not be buying anything from Gall's again.
I purchased a pair of tactical boots, wore it twice, my feet was wet, I called they instructed me to send it back. I send it back they said I had it for 35 days and they only guarantee it for 30 days. So they are sending it back to me i can dispose of it. Stay away from this company they specialize in ripping off the law enforcement community.
My Law Enforcement family has collectively spent thousands of dollars with purchases from Galls over the last several years. Recently we attempted to purchase an item that was advertized at a sale price. My wife was having problems ordering the item and sent an email trying to get the item at the sale price. On a telephone conversation today with Galls they said they could no longer honor the sale price. As a previously loyal customer of Galls it is obvious that they no longer care about customer service. We will be shopping elsewhere. I also found it to be extremely odd that there is no place on Galls website to leave a company review.
I ordered 2 shirts in October. In late December the shirts arrived, without patches sewn on. I contacted customer service and received an email addressed to me and their labeling department to email me a shipping label so the shirts could be returned and patches applied. It has been about a week and a half and still no email with a shipping label. I don't expect there ever will be one sent to me. Galls is the worst company I have ever dealt with as this is not the first time items for our department have been messed up. We have even received shirts with the incorrect patches sewn on. I believe a change in management is required to fix what is wrong with this company.
I had a great experience. I ordered from Galls on Sunday, and my order was shipped out the following day…. Very fast too. I received the exact item I was looking for, and it's great quality. I was very impressed with how fast they shipped the item. It arrived two days sooner than the tracking anticipated. Perhaps they were slow during the Covid season, but I had a positive experience with them, and I would definitely buy from them again. The shipping is a little high, but the item is well packed, and sent very fast. All in all, great job!
Dont waste your money with this place... they lie and take forever to get your order. I talked to customer service yesterday monday feb 28th about my order friday that didnt ship out like it said it would. They said they would expedite my order to 2 day shipping and i would get an email with a tracking number i waited and never received the tracking number i had my wife call back this morning march 1. They said the oder couldnt be expedited and the website shouldn't be saying shipping out same day if ordered before a certain time. So here we wait again. My last order i had the same issue and it took almost 2 weeks to get it... Galls needs to get their act together. We will never order with them again. If possible id give them a -10
Ordered pants on July 1st. Said that they had shipped and charged My credit card a $199. Then they sent me another email telling me that the pants were back ordered but would not credit my credit card back on $199. Have tried several times to cancel my order and they refuse and they will not credit my credit card back. They said that it was at the warehouse and that there was nothing they could do about it and now it is gonna be August 18th before they estimate that the order will be shipped out. Do not do business with these people they are a total scam. Now I have to go to the Better Business Bureau and hire a lawyer in order to rectify the situation.
Ordered an item because I believed it when I read ships within 24 hours, a week later and I'm still waiting. You may have fooled me but I'll make sure everyone in my dept knows about your false advertising
So I order a pair of boots and pay for shipping after reading, any orders over 100 dollars is free shipping. Also used a coupon code for 2 day shipping and well needless to say it's been a week already still no boots. Called them today and guess what they say it should be there in a week. So if you need or want to receive fast products go ahead and go somewhere else because it won't happen with galls. I would have put less stars but 1 is the minimum amount they allow. Thanks galls for false advertising and poor business. Y'all will be a company that closes down and I won't be surprised.
My husband ordered a bag back in October. When it arrived, it didn't match the pictures nor the product description. He contacted Galls customer service and after more than 8 weeks of run around and no return calls at all even though they promised multiple times, I've finally received a refund. However, that refund is $12 short of my purchase price. We have decided that fighting for that $12 is not worth the aggravation.

9 days since I placed my order. They said it would ship 2 days ago only after I pestered the heck out of them. Their site says it still has not shipped. This is a horrible way to do business. Spend a couple bucks more and buy your gear somewhere else. They offer all kinds of discounts and codes. It's bait, don't fall for it. I only wished that they lived up to what a typical, honest business would do.
Ordered a pair if pants through them and Amazon. Exact same size and Galls was way too big. States there is a $10 dollar shipping charge to return the item which is absurd! I am simply out this money because it's not worth returning for that extra charge. There was no tracking for shipping either so did not know when I would receive the item. Would never do business with them again.
I would like to start with the fact that even if you get the smallest item from this company the shipping is astronomical. In a current world where most things are shipped fast and free, a never evolving company like Galls is reminding us what getting stuff shipped back in the early 2000s was like. Super pricey and super slow are your only two options they offer. Let's go over how long it takes to even get to your carrier. In a warehouse of 2 people (or so it seems) your order and everyone else's is very slowly packaged and sent out the door. If you call to figure out why it's been two plus weeks since you ordered the item and the status is still "In Process", you will get a verbal apology at best. So, if you are ordering from them be warned and be prepared. Just look on the brightside, you will get your item(s)... eventually.
I recently purchased a jacket through they're website. Received a confirmation email and they charged my credit card. After about a week without getting a shipping update I called customer service to get information. They said my order didn't exist. When I forwarded them a copy of my order confirmation they said "oh, that order has been cancelled, the jacket is no long available". This BS from a company that claims "World Class Service"?
Answer: It's not too hard if you call via phone but any other way, good luck.
