Buying at Gainesville Coins was a pleasant experience, a man who helped me solve all my doubts was very professional, I will continue to recommend them.
Do not use this co we all know about silver delays I was loyal to this place I asked a why the shipping fees on large orders a very rude person said u can spend a million here and we have shipping fees but we make it up with serv and low prices so I gave them the order they said 7 day delivery so on the 8th day I called twice 2 diff men rough rough English which is fine but they said sir we found ur order no problem with it except we can fill it for 17 more days I said can I speak to a manager sure they said si these 2 guys plade games with me. I'm at work cant talk long I hung up 1 hour later a miracle ur order is filled and on it's way. The next day the email said we will deliver Thurs that was great but they sent it to Florida in in PA I called them up and told them to keep it obviously u need it more than I do and this was a big order for me so please fi not go through what i went through best $ I ever lost
THEY ARE SUING ME FOR GOLD I BOUGHT AND NEVER RECEIVED! What losers - total fraud - google them for fraud and "ripoff" and you will see I'm not alone.
AVOID THESE CROOKS. They filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy with a former company (National Gold Exchange) are in trouble for lots of money owed when they "shifted" the assets from that company to Gainsville Coin.
I made an online purchase of two Korean Tiger 1 oz gold coins that were "in stock". A check was sent, GC notifies me they received the check and advises it's going to take 10 business days to clear it. At that point I'm suspect since checks usually clear in 3 business days to clear a check. Red flag. After a week I get a call from GC to tell me the coins that were supposed to have been in stock are now on backorder and it will be 2 weeks before they get them. Another red flag. Then I'm told if I would like they would sent two American Eagles instead. At this point I'm fed up with the nonsense and waiting so I tell the sales rep I'll take the AE's and ask what dates they have available to which he replies 2020's and 2017's. I request the 2020's and his says no problem and we'll ship them on Friday. Late Friday I get a tracking number for a USPS package. Monday the package arrives but when I open it instead of the 2020's I asked for there are two 2017's. I understand "stuff" happens but between the coins not being in stock, to the length delay in clear my check and not sending the dates I was promised I have to remove Gainsville Coins from my coin buying options. I've been in business for 40 years. Every company has mishaps now and then. The test of a company is how they take care of the customer when a mishap occurs.
I congratulate you, they are a great company, the customer service is excellent, they support you in all your doubts so that you can make a good purchase.
Paid for silver 7 weeks ago and nothing. I emailed them 3xs and no response. They have a message up on their website blaming the pandemic for shipping delays. Lmao. I think these guys are a scam
They do a good job, all my coins arrived at the agreed time, when I contacted them they were very friendly and helpful, they met all my expectations, soon I will buy them again!
I like their products, they are of very good quality, I also liked that they facilitate the purchase since they have many payment methods and the best thing is that they are sent to your home.
They have an excellent staff that supports you in your purchase, they are very helpful and professional and they know very well about this type of product.
I wish I could recount a positive experience with dishonest, indifferent employees at Gainsville Coin.
My initial call and purchase were fine. I ordered 4 monster boxes (not a small order) October 28th and was told there was a shipping delay and the coins would ship November 17th. I accepted this and sent funds.
November 17th came and went. No updates, NO COINS. I called and was told there were more delays because of hurricanes (bs. This order was made after last storm passed through FL) and they could not give me a date or even a range of when my coins would arrive. Now I'm concerned!
Call again a week later and was told I'd be called back when they could give me a date. No one called. I called again the following day and dealt with a rude, indifferent woman that said coins had been shipped and I needed to call USPS. I said "You ship coins for a living and you can't tell me when I'll receive my shipment?" Apathetic Answer: "A few days to a few weeks" WTF?
And the icing on the cake...The USPS won't deliver monster boxes(too heavy), so you must pick them up at the Post Office! Gainsville coins knows this yet did not disclose or help in any way after they got my money.
ONE AND DONE with this company. All they had to do was be honest and communicate but all they care about is the sale.
***F***
I have been buying from them since they specialized in the pre-33 stuff. Now they are mostly just bullion. Their prices are good, and they are friendly and honest. Recommended.
I loved the service they offered me, also the variety of products they offer, and from the presentation of their coins it can be seen that they are a very serious company, and very orderly
I want to congratulate this valuable company that every day strives to provide a better service to us, its customers. I can say that I have received excellent service from your employees
