Yea, I'm stupid for falling for this one
Bought random steam game that said each game have 29.99€ value
They actually sold trash game without developer/publisher on steam with that price just to fulfil the criteria
They even put fake reviewer that all recommended it and make similar review to make the games looks legit
I'd recommend avoiding them as I believe it is unsafe to trust them with your money.
I've made three purchases from G2A with no specific problems aside from the way they constantly try to badger you into buying G2A Shield.
But this last was a game code which Steam tells me is already in use. I've reported it and got no response inside 26 hours. No refund, no apology.
The site is known for selling grey market keys that have very rarely been deactivated by the developer ( I can think of two occasions). Even if this happens they seem to take care of their customers by offering replacement keys. These grey market keys are often times stolen or from people pretending to be press or youtube reviewers.
Other than all that I've never once had a problem with this site. It sells games much cheaper because they are all third-party key resellers even if it is a bit sketchy where these keys come from. They still never wronged me personally. I try whenever possible to buy directly from developers when I can and I encourage everyone else to do so as well. But money is tight and we all love games so we have options like this.
It's already the fifth time I buy from them and never had a problem :) All the keys I got were working and the price is much lower than Steam or Origin... I really recommend visiting their gaming sales page where you can find some nice deals and coupons :) https://www.g2a.com/r/gamingsales
Enjoy!"
G2A.com is a best site for buying gift card I may say. I successfully bought a gift card from this site and it was delivered immediately. I would have given them a 5-star but the site is too sensitive and sometimes don't take $#*! from anyone
G2A is one of my favorite services to use when buying games. I can always find good discounts on the titles I want to buy. I also use G2A wallet quite often. Just watch out for their forced G2A plus subscription when buying things.
Great prices, selection can be a bit limited.
Mostly only had positive experiences with these guys.
There was once when they were doing a promotion that involved a checkout code and I forgot to enter the code at checkout and they wouldn't let me redo the order with the code because the order had already gone through and the keys had been sent, they also mentioned that they "sell at minimum profit", whichbut I understand and it was my fault. Plus, they were refreshingly honest which I appreciated all the more.
The site is garbage
Sellers sell garbage, and customer support does not respond! The site is garbage
Close this scammers website
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SCUMMY COMPANY! TAKING MONEY OFF PEOPLE AND PROVIDING FAKE CODES AND THEN IGNORING REFUND REQUESTS. I BOUGHT ROBUX KEY FROM THE SELLER Ultimate_choices AND I AM FUMING!
So … this time last year I had a bad experience and lost a Steam gift card to the absolute criminals!
This year stupid me went back for another and I went to redeem the code and lo and behold it's been redeemed already.
This is the catch as the seller knows fine well Steam won't give me details of the card or anything else only the seller can get this info! They know this and I'm not the only one who this specific seller does it to as the exact same issue with another customer that same day for the same product at the same price!
The second time this has happened do yourself a favour and avoid them specifically seller Ultimate_choices
The order number **************
They could easily have put this right but they are hoping I back down! Shocking
It's a total fraud. I purchased a Kaspersky license from them which turned out to be fake. G2A refused help of any sort, I followed it up with the seller, and they gave me another license in exchange for me updating their bad review (which I was naive enough to do), the second license went invalid in a day and turned out to be fake, no respond from the seller afterward.
Back to the G2A, they asked to wait for a week and if no refund took place, come back to us, which I did. Their response then was to go to the police, file a report, send us a copy of that with your full personal information and they will submit it to authorities. Long story short, if you buy something from someone random in the street you will get better support and a higher chance of a good purchase.
Kept best for the last, they will charge you a mandatory fee apart from the license you buy for their service! I strongly suggest avoiding them, as you just will lose your hard-earned money.
Serial key didn't work. Unsuccessfully attempted to contact seller for a refund.
Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 did not install due to a unrecognized serial key.
Contacting the seller through their website did not work after several attempts. Buggy website makes this a frustrating experience
I just bought two software and they sent me invalid keys. I contacted them and got a reply. I kept having issues and I can't contact them anymore. They don't respond to the original message, and when I try using "Contact the seller" the message can't be sent.
Bought an item, got sent a key that had already been used! The customer service is then awful! Basically, the shield means nothing and you're left to fend for yourself. Waste of time, awful support website. Don't know how these people exist. DON'T USE THEM!
This "company" embeds a monthly fee without any notification that any payment has been taken out and they seem to have gotten me good. I blocked their transactions and would recommend everyone to NOT go near them. It may be cheaper but they will screw you over in another way
Kotaku recently revealed that G2A is breaching buyer trust and potentially committing a felony in how they are handling negative coverage of their brand.
https://kotaku.com/shady-market-g2a-offers-to-pay-journalists-to-run-pre-w*******979
Note: This is probably illegal and they will be facing legal action.
"The email in question, which Kotaku has viewed, was sent to multiple members of the media, including one who posted a screenshot of it on Twitter earlier today, sparking widespread discussion and anger. The email asked press to cooperate with G2A in the name of improving "our brand awareness and public image, especially among the indie and smaller game developers.""
They are threatening journalists to support their scam. An endless number of indie developers have accused them of selling illegal keys over the past 5 years. 5 years. They have done nothing to solve the issue.
Just pay full price elsewhere. My son purchased from here previously, but today he was scammed. So never again. Apparently scammers are allowed to sell their accounts on this platform without any oversight. If you make this type of purchase, the seller can reclaim it at any time. You lose your money and the game. We lost $56 trying to save $5 by coming to G2A. And G2A has a "no refund" policy and you cannot reach anyone by phone. Just Stay Away! Spend your money on a legit site that has oversight, is reputable, and shuts down fraudulent transactions.
They pretend to have a steam key behind a pass wall but it ends up being a link to a website trying to get you to take someone elses steam account or add yourself as a "family member". Scam artist $#*!s keep trying to steal your money even after you call them out on their bull$#*!
I've bought some things that have been fine but the last time, I got the wrong item and I couldn't get my money back from them. Reached out many times and terrible service. Don't use this site
I've order an item and noticed later they've just signed me up to an subscription service called G2A Shield which cost 2.84 euro. I've explicitly disabled shield during checkout! Also had contact with support about this and basically their response was "Bad luck. We can't do any thing about it, see our terms." So be aware that they try to trick you into this service if you use G2A Pay!
Answer: They claim to have a guaranteed money back system but don't buy into that. They don't. They don't even acknowledge the 14 day cooling of period on online purchases that is a law in the EU. So basically they are criminals.
Answer: Its a scam block ur cc and report fraud never go there again
G2A has a rating of 1.3 stars from 198 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with G2A most frequently mention customer service, steam account and credit card. G2A ranks 1290th among Video Games sites.
