I paid the $139 for the required doctor visit, I paid $239 for a prescription that was sent before I ever had a doctors appointment (the receipt stated $129 & $229, but oh well), then the doctors appointment was cancelled due to their review of my medical history. Did I mention I already paid for it? Now I have medicine I don't know how to use and they tried to charge me two more times for more medicine! On top of that, I wouldn't join until they told me I didn't have to order their food, then received a box of food I didn't order the next week. I actually had to cancel my debit card so they would stop charging me. They won't even respond to the BBB complaint. Sheesh!
This is an absolute scam. I really, really hate situations like this. You show all your methods and recommendations, but you don't have the balls to put the real charges where the normal everyday person would see it. I assume this happens a lot. When I called to inquire about the extra $151 and $98 charges, your phone staff us well versed in how to cancel the plan, but they also let you know that it is "non refundable". So I am putting a stop payment for the charges at my bank. I'll also do a review as well as contact the Better Business Bureau and anyone else that needs to hear about you.
It is not listed anywhere clearly when you sign up for a "free trial" that they are going to continue to bill your credit card. I looked clearly for it and didn't see it. Also, they claim to offer support and no one responds. They send an email from a coach that says "contact me at this number and this website if you need anything! Just reach out!" No one replied to my 4 emails and the number just goes straight to "user busy". Don't waste your money - they are not trustworthy.
App freezes and shuts down regularly. On top of that, they advertise a 30 day money back guarantee which is not true. They continued to charge me even after they confirmed my account had been closed, and refused to refund any of the fees they fraudulently charged. Had to work with my bank to get my money back for this essentially non-functioning product. Absolutely horrible experience.
Don't be fooled by their spiel, it's a bunch of crap. They also imply refunds in 30 days but that's only for a monthly subscription, and try to rush you into a yearly one on a timer - like I said, tricky and underhanded. The food came in a torn up nasty box all melted, it was all just BAD! I have nothing good to say and would give ZERO stars if I could!
Personally I found the app very helpful, I eat a lot of different new things I was not used to and I am slowly but steadily losing weight, at the speed they predicted - no idea how they do it, but it works! Yes, it's pricey and yes, sometimes the whole thing looks doggy, and their customer service is non-existent, but I decided to take a leap of faith and it was worth it! I have been on tons of diets in my life, this is so far my favourite!
They refunded my $98.00 in 12 hours!
Popped my wife's card for $39.00 then $98.00 before I locked the card. They sent an email saying "Your payment of $151.00 was declined, please update your payment information"! She's going to call and ask for the refund within 30 days as adveliezed, not holding my breath after reading these reviews. $137.00 would fill my gas tank almost twice with all this craps going on and your have those SCUMBAGS STEALING money apparently. I wish I had a physical address to go to!
I have been trying Years after having my baby to loose the extra weight and nearly lost faith until my friend told me to try G-Plans! I not only lost the weight but am keeping it off! I finally have a healthy relationship with food and look forward to all my meals! If you are willing to out in the work you will reach your goal!
Massive scam. I purchased, Under the impression this was not a recurring plan, only to find out it is. Trying to cancel the plan is nearly impossible. So many sales gimmicks, etc. At the end of the day, the food combinations were not correct for me- I gained weight and body fat, the "nutritionist" consult was the biggest hoax- ever. Horrible plan, horrible customer service, horribly deceptive.
I live in VA. G-plans let me sign up, pay almost $1000 for my membership in full + first month prescription; allowed me to schedule a doctor's appointment in order to get the prescription. It took 2 weeks to get on the calendar. Called in for the appointment and got ghosted, which lead me to call customer support. It was at that point, they let me know there are no providers in VA and therefore no one would be calling in for the appointment and I would not be able to receive the prescription. Wasted my time and made money of the interest of my money sitting in their bank accounts before fully refunding me.
Also, if you try their meal plan trial BEWARE: it also auto-renews (very unclear notice on this) for $65/mo PLUS $10.99 for shipping and it costs $60 to cancel it! This company is such a scam.
I've have been calling the customer support for days but can't get hold of anyone. I have a such a bad side effect. Don't know what to do. My lymph on my neck is swollen so bad. This is so ridiculous you pay so much money but NO support from them! I'll never use G plan again or have anyone use this company!
Do not fall for their "free-trial" because they will not allow any cancellations. They won't answer your emails, your calls and your chat messages. BUT, they will very quickly delete social media posts you tag them in or negative comments you make on their Instagram and Facebook. They are super efficient in deleting and blocking you, in a matter of minutes to be exact!
BEWARE!
Would give negative stars if I could. They hide all the extra charges in their fine print so you think your total cost is one thing but you are actually agreeing to plan upgrades and meal deliveries and back out fees if you don't continue with their meal delivery service. I thought my total was $97 ended up being charged another $40, $75 and $60. Absolutely appalled by this company. Zero ethics stay far far far away. Plus the meal plan sucks it's the same 8 recipes cycled through and always oatmeal for breakfast and fruit and nuts as a snack.
From the get-go, this has been a huge mess. The first month, they "forgot" to submit the order for my medicine, so it was weeks late. I've tried to contact customer service over and over and have so many issues, but nobody will contact me back. They keep charging my card $76 PER WEEK for food boxes I've already told them I don't want, but there's "no way to cancel them", so they "have to" charge me the fee and then reverse it, so I always have $76 in return limbo with my bank now. I'm now into my second month and still have not received the second box of medicine yet. I'm trying to contact customer support again and nobody will answer my calls or email me back. It's been a nightmare. Don't try this service, it's horrible.
I filled out all the great questions and before knew it they had me signed up for a $200 subscription that didn't even want! I cancelled it immediately 10 min later and never used the service. Tried to dispute it and was denied. Steer clear of this scamming company!
The company keeps sending food that I haven't ordered and it keeps charging my account. I have repeated tried to cancel my subscription. I have repeatedly sent emails to *******@g-plans.com which they apparently do not read. The meals have a very high carb count for a diabetic which I didn't know until I signed up. I tried to cancel about 2 hours after I subscribed only to be given excuse after excuse from "Larry" as to why he cannot give me a refund. DO NOT join!
I tried program twice and both times I gained weight. Customer service doesn't exist. No one answers the phone and you have to use the chat service which takes 24-48 hours to respond. They don't tell you the yearly subscription is non refundable. Very deceptive. Buyers you have been warned.
I was charged 4 times for things I didn't order. The customer service agents were rude and disrespectful and took days to return my call! Their app is hard to figure out and you aren't able to fix mistakes, cancel or even get a hold of a rep. By the time you do, they just tell you it's your own fault and they won't refund you. Don't trust them. They are a scam!
Upon receipt of their materials I instantly knew that this program was not for me I canceled immediately but they charged me $117 and said it was non-refundable. Although I had no interest in the meals, they sent me a "free" box (which I refused delivery on) and charged me a $59 "break up fee" for not continuing with 4 weeks of meals. These people will stop at nothing to trick you out of your money. RUN!
Free trials are only for NON-discounted plans. Hence, most everybody that went through the link where it gave a discount can't get a refund.
Also, didn't show the fine print for additional charges on that page. A statement saying check everything else in Terms and Conditions without a link is pathetic.
And actually, I did read it. There is nothing about additional charges that others have mentioned.
TDLR This company is a scam.
Answer: Agreed! Very POOR customer service. Nice but dumb. I haven't gotten to the refund stage yet... will let you know how that goes...
Answer: I'm going to file in small claims just for the principle.
Answer: That's exactly the same problem I found. Their response was the packaged meals meet diabetic guidelines. But, that means you have to spend more money to buy their packaged meals. More money? What a concept. It's deceptive from the beginning. I can't believe nobody's sued them. There should be a class action suit against them. This is the first time I personally have run into a company that has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They have been rejected by the Better Business Bureau. You've got to be pretty bad to get to that point.
G Plans has a rating of 1 stars from 257 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with G Plans most frequently mention credit card, customer service and better business. G Plans ranks 320th among Weight Loss sites.
