Freshly has excellent food and also excellent customer service! It's the easiest way I have found to eat clean / healthy when you do not have much time to cook. With work and kid's activities, having Freshly in the fridge has prevented a lot of last minute or late night take out orders, so I believe it saves $ too!
I conveniently live too close to many fast food options. I found myself eating fast food at least once to twice a day (simply for the convenience). Now, I'm able to quickly prepare a much healthier meal in only 3 minutes in my microwave, and barely spending more than my fast food meals cost. The meals are quite tasty too. The company has been phenomenal in offering a credit when anything goes even the slightest bit wrong with my order. I very much appreciate their display of professionalism in such manners! They go above and beyond what I've seen the majority of any company do.
Freshly is both convenient and offers tasty choices. You won't get bored with the selections because they introduce new menu items every few weeks. Add a homemade salad to the Freshly meal and you've got yourself a restaurant quality-tasting meal. Some of our favorites are the "spaghetti" and meatballs made with spaghetti squash. It's to die for. Chicken Risotto with asparagus, too. My hubby describes it as a crowd pleaser. If I could change just one thing it would be to reduce the fat in each meal as they are a bit rich for my taste.

Started ordering this for my 88 year old parents. They are still pretty independent but dont have interest in cooking any more. With freshly, they are really enjoying the ease of re-heating freshly prepared, tasty and nutritious foods. Great variety for them.
Way better than the first time I tried a year or so ago. Portion sizes are much better. Only complaint is I would like to be able to increase or decrease quantity of meals about 10 days out. Some weeks I would order 9, while others 6 with my work travel schedule. Im stuck keeping 6 Bc of this.

I'm a single guy, living alone, working in sales. I come home late sometimes and I used to go out and grab a quick bite to eat at the local fast food stop. Not only is this very bad for me, but it's also very expensive. Since I've signed up for Freshly, I've been able to counteract a large portion of that cost of eating out all the time, and replace it with very good tasting meals that are actually way healthier than the 'junk' I was eating before! Great meals delivered directly to my elderly mom's door! She loves them. It helps me to be sure she is eating properly! She enjoys seeing the federal express delivery person and feels she's getting spa food!
Enjoyed the meals tremendously. I would like to see water only in the ice packages. Allow the customer to save up the insulation and be able to return it to Freshly in a prepaid box. Some of the clear plastic tray covers are hard to remove. Had one experience where the meal went flying when the cover finally released unexpectedly. The food is top notch. Even the meals we liked the least were still pretty amazing. My friends in Michigan can't wait for you to get there. Great business plan Freshly. Keep it up.
I travel a lot so I could not consume the meals on the established schedule. I contact Reg via chat and he explained that I can skip a week here and there but due to my fluid schedule we could not adjust deliveries in such a way. We decided to cancel the subscription for when I am travelling and reactivate when I am back home throughout the year.

Being single again and working 10 hour days, it's nice coming home and not having to worry about what's for dinner. I also don't have to spend my Saturday or Sunday preparing a months worth of food.

I enjoyed getting meals from Freshly. Unfortunately, the delivery service became unreliable and I could no longer trust that the meals would arrive at the same time each week. I'll be back someday but my extended break is also related to the currently global situation we're in.

I am an RN, Nutritionist, Bodybuilder and Gourmet Cook. Yes, odd combo but I insist on "Clean" Healthy meals that actually taste good. I have tried many companies (even the ones who ship you the groceries to cook... why?) but Freshly meals are by far the best tasting and best value for your money. Granted you do need to read the macros of each dish if you really want to adhere (I like 40-30-30) to a specific regime. There are enough different varieties and taste to match most anyone. I really wish they had some Breakfast meals to complete my "good eating".

Freshly is my first subscription food ordering service. I was hesitant to do a food ordering service, but Freshly was so easy and accommodating that I've stayed with them. The food taste good and the portions are filling. I was worried about the meals being too small and staying hungry, but it has never happened! They consistently add new meals so you don't get bored with the same meals. I have lost over 10 pounds in just a couple of weeks on this system is I choose my meals less than 500 calories. Best part no shopping for groceries, cooking and cleaning afterward. Just heat (3 min) and done!

Got my first order and I gotta say I'm very disappointed. Everything we've had so far has been bland, tasteless and not very good. You could get similar tasting meals by Marie Calendars for less than half the price, and without the need for a weekly plan.

Been doing freshly for 2 weeks and as a parent of an infant and a 3 year old - I'm very happy with it - my husband and I joke that we may never cook again for the next 18 years!
The only improvements I would like to see is that 1) I wish they delivered earlier in the week or earlier in the day on Tuesday. It usually arrives pretty late on Tuesday. 2) the box it comes in and the ice packs are extremely heavy! I can't carry it up re stairs myself. There is just SO much ice. It seems over packaged to me, even compared to blue apron. I've used another meal delivery service who used half as many ice packs, as does blue apron. Seems like they could cut down on that - assuming it doesn't sacrifice freshness. 3) wish they had an app to manage weekly meals vs just a website.

So sorry for the inconveniences with the shipping materials--we definitely want to err on the side of caution regarding the temperature of the meals, but are always looking into new, improved options for our packaging materials.
Being that my wife is pregnant and can not stomach these meals at this time I completely forgot to cancel the weekly order so I reached out and came into contact with Jay L. He was truly amazing, very responsive, and overall a great employee. Keep up the great work. We will definitely be back in the future to order more meals.
During these days of sheltering at home, I found Freshly, and I absolutely love it. The meals come right to my door each week, and the food is delicious. I change meal choices each week to try new dishes. Of course some I like better than others but they are all good. Customer service is terrific if there is a problem. I just cannot say enough good things about Freshly. I feel like I'm eating out a good restaurant every day when I have one of my dinners from Freshly. We will either remove an item and replace with something new, update the recipe on a current item or just add an item without removing one. As we continue to grow we will have plans to offer even more variety as well!

Our meals are generally high protein, high healthy fat, low carb, low sugar. We use unprocessed ingredients free from hormones or added sugars, and never use chemical preservatives. You can certainly reheat our meals in a conventional oven, however, our current meal containers are not safe for the oven or stove-top, so you'll have to transfer your food to heat it up. First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Transfer your food to an oven-safe dish (don't forget to scrape the sauce out of the tray!) and cover the top in tin foil. Heat for 25-35 minutes, remove foil, and let sit 3-5 minutes, then transfer to your choice of plate or bowl and enjoy! (Keep in mind, heating times are approximate. Answer: I've been getting mine in on time, but I assume as with all packages going through USPS, UPS, and FedEx right now, things have been backed up since COVID and only getting worse. So it's not Freshly's fault even if they aren't delivered on time.
