Never done this before. Went OK. So I need to pad this review.
So far I have heard nothing from shipper. Tried to call, no answer. Tried to e-mail, no reply. We may need to contact a different trucker
Overall a good experience. It did take longer than expected to get the load picked up (a week) and then a bit longer than expected to receive the load ( 2 1/2 days due to rest requirements) from IA to SD but everything worked out fine and their price was cheaper by hundreds. I would definitely use them again.

Very negative! Once I had won the auction paid my bill within 24 hrs made the mistake of using fr8 star and then the games began felt like a first class scam shakedown I would never recomend fr8 star I have all emails and screenshots to back my complaint. Beware! I ended up relisting and using a local load board to move my equipment had no issues whatsoever once I got away from fr8 star again beware.
I will be able to tell you more when the load is actually picked up and delivered.

Multiple quotes. Bid awarded and hauler was in contact within minutes. Load got picked up next day and is on its way. Way less work than I thought it would be.

So far it has been great. We have had our load picked up and it is yet to be delivered on Monday. But as of now, freight star has been excellent in our endeavors to ship our purchase.
