Very unmoderated, there's a very large child audience, yet a lot of unsafe people and artwork. I've had a decent experience myself, being somewhat popular back when I was 11-12. I was harassed and bullied but I still made friends.

Point is, this site seriously needs moderation, it is an active danger for kids. I see a lot of drama and toxicity within its newer community, but my main concern is definitely the NSFW content and how easily accessible it is.

It's good for beginner artist using a mobile device, but it can be very toxic and you can find yourself in drama unintentionally. You can make good friends, but you have no idea when they will leave the site. You also cannot make a new account anymore.

As a person who has been on this site since 2017, it sure has went downhill. I won't recommend this site due to the toxic nature of the community. I made friends and had good times on this site, and overall it helped me improve my art. However I left due to the racism, homophobia, pedophilla, ableism, ETC.
You can't really ignore it either, considering there's certain popular users who have strong opinions and done some… things in the past (and or present, it depends.)
Literally everyone can post anything (yes, that includes CP) on this site, considering the site owner doesn't really moderate it.

This site really ruined me and a ton of others innocence that I wish to have back.

So, I have used this site for about 4 years now. I have been through over 7 accounts but recently settled on my current account.

I am a sfw/NSFW artist who honestly kinda stumbled onto the site over time. But I been noticing more and more kids putting themselves in danger.

I have seen kids as young as 10, drawing NSFW content and "Sin Rp's" which are bassically Sexual Roleplay.

Honestly, if this site had more moderation and the creator cared more. I am sure this site would be a hit for it's easy access.

Hello! I think flipanim is an pretty good animation website, for some reason i think it is better then flipaclip XD
But, like everything is not perfect, flipanim has it's own flaws.
Yes, there are toxic people on here. You know... tracers, drama and... YOU KNOW THE DRILL.
But as soon as you get used to it, it can be pretty useful: D

There was (and probably still is) actual pedophiles on this website. So far my friends and I have discovered at least five different pedophiles (one that actually spread CP of a kid who on the site shared a photo of his genitalia)
There was another user (Who goes by SuperTokki) who sexted several children in the 8 month lifespan that she was active for. This place is a breeding ground for pedophiles, either change the site by making it safer (adding email verification, having better moderation, banning users) or take this site down!

Flipanim is great bebcause it can be used for academic purposes, and many other things. In sixth grade, my science calss and I used it to show how root and frost wedging work, and it really stuck with me. Not to mention the software has many options for drawing utensils, textures, colors, even a custom color maker. Flipanim is definitly awesome!

This site is a pedophiles safe space, you got kids who will sin rp with anyone without thinking twice and ask for nsfw requests on any nsfw account and lie about thier age. And there were literally pedos on there so yeah. You will see very horrible $#*!, The owner dosent care for the safety of kids, There was child porn shared around, trolls doxxing others. The censoring system for nsfw is the weakest ive ever seen, this site is mostly full of horny kids. Ok editor, but im worried about this site

It's alright, but the community is very toxic and there is a lot of NSFW art so not recommended for kids under 16. The drawing tool itself is okay but it's missing so much like a select tool it's also very laggy, and honestly, I absolutely hate the new update, cause not everyone uses Facebook and now I can't even sign up.

SO. I've been on flipanim for over 3 years, making multiple accounts. All I've gotta say is, the community is really sensitive.

It is hard to make jokes without having a whole army of people come running after you, blocking you, and such. It really ticks me off. I only made 1 friend, apart from my school ones. I wouldn't call my jokes "dark" or "mature" They're actually non-offensive, people just twist my words to sound like I said something horrible. Or they take it the wrong way, I'm not sure.

This site would've been better if people were more mature, and fewer kids. Kids have FLOODED this site, to the point, that it's not even a joke when I say that the audience is probably 9 years old to 11. You browse the art, and you can see questionable things like "Sin-Rps" with terrible grammar, and 18+ drawings that look like their made by a kid who probably hasn't had sex-ed. Countless posts of "I'm so horny" and $#*! like that, it really ticks me off. I wish this site had a proper check-up for these types of things. At least age verification.

Well, that's my rant about how terrible the site is, mostly the community.

Let me also talk about how the lack of fixing has ruined the site. You have to use "Facebook" to make a new account, and its broken. Its usually the same accounts you see posting and hardly any new ones.

Honestly Flipaclip has better tools and you can still chat and post on different places like yt and Instagram, and even it's original web, Although Flipanim has less features and is not perfect and also does not have audio (pls get audio) it is still more accessible; for it is online and most people's comps can't download Flipaclip (like mine=() Flipanim's canvas is smaller which sometimes makes it hard for me to draw sometimes. But I still like flipanim (cause I CAN use it)

The amount of toxicity and exposure to nsfw is completely insane. This site has no age limit, nor moderation to keep the sites main age demographic safe from users who post innaproprate and harmful comments, posts, and other things. Even the site owner has said he doesnt work much with the site, and even made a joke of it a multitude of times. He has addressed the problem and still has not fixed it, which shows that he himself stuggles to take care of a growing and changing community.
Although the editor is okay, it doesnt contain all the helpful tools a digital animating site would need. Redirection errors constantly occur, and the site often glitches.
For big animation projects, i would highly not recomend this site, as there is no way to upload a big project. It fails due to captcha problems making slow loads to the site impossible.

If you decide to go hunting for a site with a built in drawing editor, i highly do not recomend this site.

The site is incredibly laggy at times for no apparent reason, which can make it hard to access the editor or even post your art once you do finish it. The current editor is very flawed and the stabilizer somehow makes it impossible for me to get smooth lineart, while also simultaneously messing up my lettering while writing out sentences. There is no layer merging option, no flip tool and no select tool. The actual community on the site can be good at times but most of the time, it is not. There is little to no moderation on the site 99% of the time and when there is, the site seems to be only run and managed by one person. There is little to no features that flipanim has over other art sites and overall i would not recommend it. Not that you could join it without facebook, anyways, as the login itself seems to be broken to only let you make a new account with a preexisting facebook account.

I like it, but only because that's the only place where I can contact my friends and make art without downloading a heavy program. The community is trash, and the quality of the site has been going down. I would not recommend it to anyone who has an art program to make legit art, or a place where you cant contact people.

Anyways, this obscure green hellhole of an animation website is a fever dream, to say the least. Anyways, uh theres a bunch of p3dos, trolls, ablests, problematic people, and $#*!.

The quality of animations and artworks is often lowered upon their posting, and the site itself is very laggy. The site crashes quite a bit, and the community isn't always the greatest. I've met several good people and new friends here, but the amount of bad people I've come into contact with negates that almost completely. The site doesn't appear to be moderated whatsoever by anyone other than the owner, who is rarely active, and there is rampant ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and racism, etc. that can be found very commonly, especially with more popular users such as ProMagma, who is both transphobic and ableist. Elaborating on PM, he has in fact apologized for this behavior, but hasn't seemed to change at all or display any regret for his actions; he still seems to think he is in the right, and most likely mainly apologized to get people off his back. There are plenty of users like this, and the overall quality of the site keeps going down. The art tools are mediocre at best, and the login (from what I can tell) appears to be broken.

I've been using this website ever since 2017, I still use it to this day. I can't help it, it's addicting, but throughout my years there, I can tell you, this site is toxic. Really, really toxic. If you are a parent or a teacher reading this, do NOT sign up kids here. It will mess them up. Young kids there could easily access 18+ content and drama always occurs there. Right now, there's a user that was actively sexting and drawing child pornography. I'm surprised at how this site is still around especially that there were several cases of child pornography being spread there, this website is a cesspool of pedophiles. I should also mention how there is no one there that is a moderator and that the owner has been super inactive recently.

If you wish to seek an alternative to this: i suggest drawn.digifi.ca (no i was not paid to write this to promote this site, i'm just saying), it's smaller and less toxic. From what I've seen, there is no instances of pedophilia or child pornography.

In conclusion, it sucks and it's addicting. Kids shouldn't be on this site and the owner should add features to this site so that it's not easy for kids under the age of 13 to sign up here.
