FlipAnim

It; s so easy to animate it's amazing, I'm super glad it was made! Flipanim is super underrated, it should not have 2.0 rating!

I would like to start this by saying that I have used this site for roughly three years, I am fairly certain I know this site well enough to say what I will.

I want to start this with something positive, so I will. The editor currently is very basic, but for a site that is not meant to be a replacement for a proper art program is it pretty good! The layout is very simple to understand and so are the tools. Which certain drawing tablets small input lag may occur when drawing, however this is usually only as you start to draw the line so a small part will be slightly straight. I don't see this as a major inconvenience, though it is annoying.
Speaking on the editor, there was an older version of i without layers and opacity. Though, it was removed after people figure out how to input text and images onto it. There was also a previous beta editor but that was replaced with the current one that you can still use.
Overall, i'd give the editor itself a 6/10.

On the other hand, there is the community itself. There are good spot in it, as well as good people as well. Unfortunately, there are the bad parts which are much easier to find due to this site being very small.
If something happens, you will know about it.
There is an abundance of trolls, which thrive for months due to the complete lack of moderation on the site. Some times the owner does come online, but those times are very infrequent and it's a flip of a coin if a newer troll is banned or not. Generally, all they will do is make some homophobic/racist/etc posts, but you can just block and ignore them.
However, there are some people who will hold these types of views and very freely express them, which isn't the best [nor is the communities reaction to these types of things!].
If you end up in the line of fire, you won't hear the end of it.
The community can be very aggressive with people, most usually don't take it to the point of harassment but people will go after you a good chunk.
I feel that it is a good thing to mention there has been a pedo on the site before, they are not on anymore though. There was another, but for me at least, it's hard to tell whether they were a troll or genuine.

Overall, if you're willing to ignore dramas and stick to a quieter part of the community, I think it'd be alright. The main thing that drags this site down is the community. Though I think it's alright, not horrible but not fantastic either.

I love flip anim it's a very good website to practice animation and especially for beginners.But...Beware of the people here because lately it's been ruining everyones enjoyment of flipanim and people take it out on the creater of the website so they are like "Why isn't flipanim doing anything about these people?!?"
Well.First off they have a life too. And second, it's stressful enough that they get faulse reports all the time. So they barley take anything seriously from the people who use this website. So to sum this up, Flipanim is awsome but just try to avoid rude people.
