I've been using free download Lightroom presets from FixThePhoto.com for a couple of weeks. The presets are very good, easy to install & use. It really helps to quickly enhance/transform images, save my time of manual editing & colour correction. They are pretty good presets & recommended for non-pro photographers like me. Thanks FixThePhoto.com :)
This sight stole my photo from my Etsy shop. They do not have my permission to use this photo. It is my photo of my quilt that I made. Please remove my photo from your website!
I needed to restore my brother's U.S. Army Special Forces Photo which was in terrible shape. It had tears, was full of dirt, dust, etc. and was not very clear. My brother is not doing well at 80+ years and I wanted to give him a photo for him and his family. Fix The Photo did an outstanding job of restoring his photo to not only like new, they "colorized" it. It came out beautiful. His family used the photo to make 15 8x10s to distribute to family members. The price charged was not unfair, given what other services are charging. They had the work done in a flash. What can be better?
Their services seemes too good to be true and when looking at their previous work on the website, I already elt like this wasn't the place that could help me but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake! Their "colour correction" is basically lightening the skin of the subject. Instead of making a persons skin colouring more pronounced or "deeper" they go the easy way (like many other businesses) and whiten the skin!
I sent FixthePhoto about 12 photos to edits from a Senior Photo Shoot. Photos were taken on a Nikon Z9. RAW Files were uploaded. Several "reference style" photos were also attached so they could copy the style. After the first two photos were sent back to me to approve, I was SHOCKED at the poor quality of their work. They looked worse than the JPEG renderings straight out of the camera. I asked them to redo in the Style of the sample photos. Second attempt was just as bad. I asked them to STOP and issue a REFUND. They DID NOT RESPOND to any of my multiple requests for a refund. I did not get ANY edited photos from them NOR have they issued a REFUND. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company. Two people to AVOID at FixthePhoto are Ann and Tati Taylor. Horrible customer service and unprofessional editis. AVOID THIS COMPANY!
I asked to retouch a photo but they did nothing at all. I paid $10 for nothing. I was expected a proffetional photo retouching service, not a filter they applied using actions or mobile app! Tottally rubbish servies.
Very low image editing level. On their website, they appear as a top professional editing company. Waste of money. I can edit better myself in photoshop. Fixthephoto has created a professional website with great pictures. In short, CHEAT AND AMOUNTS! THEY DELIVER FROM SINGLE CUSTOMERS... KEEP YOU LONG AWAY! Fixthephoto can't edit at the professional level... by no means!
I downloaded some "free" overlays from their site... that got emailed to me...
(I figured I'd get a bunch of spam email from all kinds of sites... but I could deal with that.)
Sure... they sent the overlays to my email...
But now MY COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY FROZEN! I can't even do a force shut down by holding down the power button!
And on top of that... 20 minutes later... my iPhone notifies me that someone is trying to use my Apple ID!
They loaded my computer with spyware... and within a1/2 hour... began trying to use my info!
After it was too late...
I looked at their Facebook page...
All the people who comment on their posts are fake!
Look them up yourself... all the people connected to their Facebook page have no friends themselves... and posts are put up by a computer... with "likes" under the post... but there is never a comment that's written out. All done by a computer.
Now I feel so stupid for not looking up reviews about their site before I took the free overlay downloads!
My Apple ID and all my other passwords are easy to change... but who knows what damage they did to my computer.
I've never seen a computer not respond to a force shut down... and I have no idea how I'm gonna fix this...
Don't do what I did...
Don't go near fixthephoto.com
I cant complain about anything so far, the quality is pretty good and i think the price is fair for what you get
I have been a frequent customer for many years. They were hit or miss. I submitted an order two weeks ago, they sent me back a terrible job (changed things I did not ask to be changed) and did not follow instructions. I paid $60 for "professional level" - I did not even get basic level. They became non-reponsive, then they said they had sent me emails I never got (never had that problem before so I assume they are lying), they stated they could not do the work - it was too hard for them. But then refused to refund me and are now fighting it out in PayPal with me. Unbelievable. Meanwhile I got an etsy seller to do the work perfectly. Still waiting to see if PayPal will refund me. Horrible, horrible. Do not use this company for anything.
UPDATE: PayPal sided with them because FIXTHEPHOTO gave me a horrible and destroyed version of my photo and that counted as me getting the service, and "just not liking it". So this company can put a big black X through something, call it done and send it back, and they are covered because they gave you SOMETHING. Doesn't have to according to your original contracted agreement, they don't have to follow your instructions - just whatever they call completed.
I paid $189.00 back in March and have not received my photos nor have I been reimbursed. I had to call my credit card to try and get my money back. Very discouraging! I would not trust them!
I discovered one of my photographs being used on the Fixthephoto.com website to illustrate an article on the "Best 30 Landscape Photographers to inspire in 2021." The picture is attributed to my former employer, Galen Rowell, though I made it a full year after Galen's death. They have not responded to my communications regarding the matter at all, particularly my demand that the image be taken down or its use paid for. In the meantime, I am aware of at least one other photographer whose photo was used without permission and misattributed to another photographer in the very same article. Though the company seems to indicate it is based in Brooklyn, New York, the website is registered in Ukraine. I think there is not much about Fixthephoto.com that is legitimate. Stay away.
[UPDATE: They finally took down my photo and replaced it with another one of Galen's that was also unlicensed and therefore used illegally. I have since determined that several other photographers on the list – Michael Kenna, Carr Clifton, Erin Babnik, Sean Bagshaw, Michael Frye, Isabella Tabacchi, and Fay Goodwin, at least – had also not granted permission for the use of their pictures on the site. I suspect that none of the photographers on the list actually granted permission for the use.]
After a little confusion and a little pressure, I was able to get some acceptable results from them. I would use them again for future projects.
They asked me first time $12 for a task, then $30, then $27, then $60 and finally $27 again. Not trusty company.
I needed photo-shop editing for a family photo and the team at Fix the Photo did an excellent job - my finished family photo looks perfect! The cost was very fair, turn around time was less than 24 hours and I highly recommend this company.
Ann was open and straight forward about the possible results as my originals were of low quality.
The results were impressive. I'm extremely happy with the results. I highly recommend them.
These presets are very useful and of very good quality. Being a novice in lightroom, these precious aids help me to better understand the functioning of the tool and make me save time in the development of my photos.
Thanks XXX

I am working on a project for our local church and I needed the background removed from the picture that I was going to enlarge. I suggested a dark blue and a lighter blue background. The pictures came back perfect. The pastor reviewed the pictures and wanted a lighter blue background. I sent a sample of the light blue that I wanted. I wanted 3 pictures: 1. The sample I sent; 2. Lighter than #1; 3. Lighter than #2. I sent the email on 1/1/20 at 10:58 PM. The email notifying me of my completed revisions was in my inbox on 1/2/20 at 6:12 AM. That is an outstanding turnaround. Fixthephoto provided excellent customer service and I highly recommend them for your photo retouching.
I am not a professional photographer ( I wish) but I like to put edits on photos that I love! I like to use the FIXTHEPHOTO PRESETS because I think its bright and makes my pictures more colorful:)
I recently got your free preset and have been enjoying the versatility and ease it brings to my editing workflow. I love the earthy brown tones, especially when combined with golden hour lighting, and find it needs only minimal tweaks to fit my needs. My usual adjustments include exposure, white balance, shadows and/or blacks... that's it! Thank you for creating such a great preset.
