My daughters and I had a great time with Kyle. He was very professional and experienced. He took us to a few places to ensure we caught fish even in the rainy weather. We look forward to booking again!
Fishing Booker doesn't provide all the reviews of the captains. I booked a charter and paid the deposit and received a confirmation and the Captain didn't show up. I left a review so others would know and it was removed. Fishing Booker says that "if the trip doesn't happen then the review is removed." I got stood up with 2 friends from out of town and waited and waited and the captain ghosted me until i submitted the review. Buyer Beware. Fishing Booker is a unreliable.

The reason why your review isn't shown on the listing is that our system automatically posts a review stating that the captain canceled at short notice if this is the case. If you check back on the listing you booked, you'll see that this cancellation notice for your trip is currently the first review that shows up, even though there have been more reviews since then. On the other hand, custom-written reviews are reserved for trips that actually took place (as they're reviewing the fishing experience).
Beyond that automatic cancellation review, there's actually a lot that goes on behind the scenes if a captain ever cancels a trip. Our goal as a company is to help people go fishing, so we promote captains who have a record of going ahead with their trips. Each cancellation affects how well captains show up on our website, meaning you're most likely to see listings that have a track record of being reliable. And it goes without saying that if anything like this happens, the customer gets a full refund of their deposit.

Capt. Dan and Paul were great to go out fishing with. The fishing was slow as other boats were also reporting but by the end of the day we did catch fish and enjoyed a really good dinner with them. The highlight, aside from simply being on the water for the day, was a large Marlin that we did hook up with. Had it on for about 30 minutes before it got off. That was awesome, just feeling the power of that fish. Although, like anyone who fishes, I would love to have been able to land it but it wasn't to be. Thats ok though because it's still out there. Capt Dany and Paul were informative, great to talk with and made the day pleasant and enjoyable and the boat was comfortable. We will be return guests for sure.

I found using the FishingBooker website to be very easy and gave me a very good comparison of fishing options and availability. I booked two trips with different operators in the week I was in Darwin and both trips worked out very well. The operators were very professional, safe and put us on fish in varying conditions.

Jared did an excellent job with us. Had patience in teaching us the technique of "flossing". His equipment was top notch. He was very attentive to anything we needed. Provided all equipment. Saved his info to use again next year!

We went out with Captain Ryan Isabelle for a half day with a 6 and 9 year old. It was their first time fishing in the ocean and first time with a guide. Ryan could not have been any nicer or helpful with the boys. He stayed close to shore so the boys would not get scared or seasick. He answered a million questions and baited 2 million lost baits. We caught Spanish mackerel, trout, black bass, and whiting - all keepers. And we caught ribbon fish, croakers and toad fish. The boys had a blast. Thanks captain Ryan - we will be back.

Was on vacation and had some open time so decided to see if we could book a fishing trip. Found FishingBooker which made it easy to review and compare some local guides. On a Sunday afternoon I was able to book a trip for Monday morning. The guide was excellent! Will use FishingBooker again.

Booked with them for 9/07/23 and got postponed due to bad weather. Skies were clear and sunny all day. Next day they just up and cancelled due to weather again clear and sunny all day! They did refund my money but shouldn't a company called FishingBooker find me another charter as it's in their name. By the way, last year, it rained the entire day but we were fishing!

We had a great fishing charter experience.
I was not pleased with the fact that any communication with the captain after we booked still had to go through your email system. We should have contact numbers released to each after the deposit is made.

Zach gave us an awesome day out. We fished lots of spots for a variety of species. Admittedly the fish were not super fast at biting but we caught enough to take
Home for fish chowder. We fished under the piers, round the docks and out in the wild upriver spots where it was just us, the fish and the wildlife.
I loved the speedy boat ride between fishing locations. The scenery was stunning and the trip excelled my dream fishing trip.

I need help before launching my listing. I called around 8am and talked with customer support (a real person) within minutes. They were kind and very helpful. All of my questions were answered immediately.
We booked a trip out of Destin for a 6 am departure. It is our experience that fish bite in the morning. Our deposit for that time slot was processed and THEN the captain called and said his boat was in the shop and he might be able to take us out at 11 or the next day. We had plans for the next day.
They did not give us our deposit back! This is a scam. The reviews for this captains had 3 cancelled trips in a row. Do they just take people's deposits all day and then inform that there boat is broken but so sorry... no refund. This was for the charter boat Malia Ann
I've been using fish booker for a year now and am looking forward to my next season and al of the new clients that fish booker will bring me. This is a easy platform to get exposure and ultimately more clients which means you get to fish more. It's a win win for both myself and fish booker. I have no complaints and will continue to use this service for as long as it is around and highly recommend it to other captains that don't have a clientele list already.
We love the Mextime boat with Capt. Fili and mate Tony. Had an awesome time with them for 3 days. Caught lots of Dorado and a striped Marlin. Owner Poncho is great to work with too. Will definitely book with them again. Great crew and boat.
It was a great experience. I have been on numerous chartered fishing trips. But, this is the 1st chartered trip my sister has been on. She really enjoyed it, and already looking forward to the next chartered trip. She also, caught about 4 fish to every 1 I caught. She has bragging rights. (But I don't mind). I live and work in San Antonio, TX., and my coworkers are possibly interested in going, also.

The Captain Bill is one hell of a good guy. He aims for the best spots and he wants his people happy. We didn't catch a lot because of tide and current but we had a very nice time and Cap stayed out a little longer until we caught the bounty.

The charter was great. The Captain and crew were absolutely awesome. With FishingBooker- it was super easy to book it. Saw what I wanted, clicked it and couple easy steps and I was done. Didn't need my teenager to help me at all. Definitely going to use them from now on.

Jose did such a great job taking us to the fish on a half day. We got a mahi in the first 30 min on the boat and then he found a tuna honey hole and we caught 7 yellow fin and a skip jack. What a heck of an afternoon. Jose helped us clean the fish afterwards and gave us his cooking tips! We definitely will be using him again when we come back.
