I trusted Firestone Complete Auto Care to replace the spark plugs on my 2018 Chevy Silverado in January 2023, paying $1,357.19 for what I believed was professional service. Recently, a reputable mechanic discovered the spark plugs were never replaced, despite Firestone's claims. I have photographic evidence, recorded admissions from their staff, and a diagnostic report proving this fraud. I filed a complaint with Firestone but have received no response. This is a blatant violation of consumer trust and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Firestone, I demand accountability! Please contact me immediately to resolve this issue.
Charged me $150 for 2 cans of Freon plus $180 to put it in. Lied to me about the cost of Freon. $10/can at a retail store. Customer service is a joke.
I had my wheel bearing replace on Schillinger and cottage hill in Mobile Al. My Bearing wasn't compressed in all the way and I went in multiple times complaining about it. Nothing was done. I was told to get alignment and tire rotation and that didn't fix the problem. The Management customer service sucks and is very unprofessional. My daughter almost ran off the bridge due to the wheel bearing pulling her tires( mind you a new set of tires). They wanted me to buy more tires at almost one year. I have never experienced anything like this. The Mechanics are not Experienced enough or certified to work on cars. Only thing the can do is change tires, plug tires and replace your car battery. Disgusted Ex Customer Area manager didn't help with the issue at all.
WORST experience I've ever had at a tire or mechanic shop, and maybe any business ever! Do NOT go here! The "manager" Jason was one of the rudest people I've ever dealt with in a professional business. There was no accountability or responsibility. There was no way to rectify the situation and he literally denied doing anything wrong to the point of he just does not care what happens to your vehicle! I brought my wife's Mercedes into have four tires put on and left with the entire air suspension system, broken on my car and the car undrivable, grease all over the dashboard the wheels all put back on the wrong wheel and a broken car with all of the dials and dash system changed. It cost me $1100 for four tires and they broke the car to where it couldn't even be driven, and then said they didn't.
What kind of tire changing business even know how to lift a car properly that has air suspension and whether to turn it on or off.? Now I am left with a car that cannot be driven and I have to take it to another mechanic to have it fixed for thousands of dollars of damage caused by fire stone, and they literally do not care. When I took it to the mechanic down the street from them to have it fixed, he said that that was usual and they fixed fire stones mistakes all the time and literally have had to replace entire motors and wheels and tires from the shotty work. The people that worked on my wife's car acted as though they had never changed the tire before and looked like they had not been to sleep in days. I will do everything I can to make sure the management and the employee of this establishment Do not do this to anyone else's vehicle in the future.
I had no idea this is how they treated women that come in to get tires put on their car after they break their car. They just bully them into saying they didn't do anything wrong and then you're stuck with a broken car. My wife made the appointment and showed up on time early in the morning like they said with $1100 for four tires. They took an entire day to change four tires with no other customers there left grease everywhere ruined the car broke the air suspension and didn't even do the alignment. And then want us to come pick up the car and have it repaired somewhere else at our expense. This is the worst business ever. Fire stone is literally living off of their name that they built from the boomer generation. But what fire stone stand for now is a complete rip off and bad work. Take your tires and your car anywhere else in this town other than fire stone

Brought my truck in for a wheel alignment. They told me I needed the whole front end replaced (ball joints, tie rods, bearings, shocks). I went ahead with everything except bearings. When I picked it up nothing was torqued down, tie rods were loose! They tightened it up and told me to drive 500-1000 miles before returning it for wheel alignment. I drove about 650 miles during which I ruined both front tires completely! The truck was undriveable and unsafe, because of extreme tow out of both front wheels. They did not offer to replace the tires (as part of warranty). At the moment building a lega case against them.
Sold my car on Autotrader. Bank of purchaser required me to get an inspection. Autotrader said they had an account with Firestone and that Firestone would bill that account directly. Firestone had no clue about this national account. Then the lady at the service desk told me after taking my car back that the car would NOT pass inspection because the tires were 7 years old and it was "illegal to sell a car with tires 7 or more years old in Florida." The tires were Michelin Pilot Sport P4 with 11k miles in excellent condition. I have been a licensed attorney in FL for 37 years and there is no such law. Wasted my time, took it elsewhere and it passed with flying colors. Morons at Firestone. WOW!
I went to Firestone and first the customer service was horrible. The technicians were not knowledgeable and only confused me. The price to fix my car was outrageous. When I picked up my car the car was still making the same noises that it was when I brought it in there. Then my engine light came on and it was my timing chain that the code was showing. After bringing my car to Firestone there was more wrong with it then what I originally brought it there for. I ended up bringing it to another shop and they had to replace the whole engine due to Firestone negligents. I spoke with a manager at Firestone and they would not do a thing for me. When never go there again! Do not recommend!
Firestone on Greenacres... poor customer service, and overpriced. I had appointment at 10, and I waiting almost 6 hours. Nobody cares...Never again!
We had been using Firestone for many, many years. Slowly, as management kept changing, we became strangers to the new staff. We took our daughter's car that had a strange noise to the same Firestone we had been using all these years. We ended up paying almost $4000. The car was even worse when we left! They even replaced the catalytic converter, which we found out later was unnecessary. We took it back, they tinkled with it, the noise was gone, but the gas usage was worse and the car was dragging to move along. I went in debt to ensure my daughter and her kids safety to no avail. They truly know how to rip off those who need their car fixed for the sake of their business.
God forgive them and God help me forgive myself for being so gullible.

I'm very, very dissatisfied of Firestone service, I have been doing service in my car with Firestone since 2019. I brought my car for oil changes two times they called me to come and get the car, I paid for the service that was not done I have to give the car back to do the service. I brought my car again to do AC service they called me to get the car I paid for service that was not done I have to give the car back again. I brought my car again for oil change and my check engine light was on I paid for service that was not done. I suggest to the manager of Firestone to talk to their technician before they returned any service they did please double check before you called the customers because they gonna loose their customers all they do charge people a lot of money for service that was not done this is unfair
Last 20 years first time Brenden is one of the best front counter member otherwise nobody eles.

I scheduled an appointment with them so I don't have to wait so long for oil change, I was waiting before five other customers basically they have other issues in the cars and they finish them first. They didn't give me any explanation why? I was there first waiting for a few hours and five of them went ahead of me. No apologies from them or nothing. I got mad because two of the customers went home and their cars were ready before me. I should of get an explanation or apologize if it was an error.
NEVER NEVER NEVER go to this place. If I could give them a zero I would. I scheduled service days before, took a half day off from work and they call me 2 hours before my appointment to cancel me. HORRIBLE, UNRELIABLE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Schedule an appointment here at your own RISK. PS. I'm attaching proof that I actually had an appointment!
Took my car in to have the lower steering column trim replaced. Technician claimed the windshield wiper switch was no longer working and it needed to be replaced. I said replace my trim and I'll bring it back to get a new windshield wiper switch put in. I drove out of their parking lot and turned on my wiper blades and THEY WORKED PERFECTLY!
Looks like Firestone Auto care people are dishonest crooks and Liars!

Called and made an appointment and got an oil change on sale for $29.99 for 5 quarts just a standard oil change they looked up for my car exactly how many quarts it will take which is five. I get in the next day and they end up changing the price 4 different times making it higher each time! Said I needed five and a half quarts which is a lie plus I was quoted for 5 quarts. Dishonest completely. They basically said not my problem when I questioned them and told them I was very unhappy with this service when they quoted me a different price and even looked at my car. They will definitely not get a repeat customer from me. The dishonesty and caring about another dollar from this company was just wrong. I ended up staying there an hour while they were in the shop laughing and talking instead of doing their job, one other customer walked out because they just ignored him at the counter and the people that called kept putting them on hold and then would go out in the shop and laugh. It forces you to give a star rating I wouldn't even give one star. But I was forced to to leave this review.
And the most expensive place I've ever seen. They charge 3 times more. Don't go in this place. They will stole you

I decided to go to the shop on E main st in Spartanburg SC because their reviews looked better than other Firestone shops around. Another disappointment. Took my car there to replace the door handle. When they called me several days later to pickup the car, I found a "green" door handle on my "silver" car. It looked awful. They told me they do not do painting, and that I had to go paint the door handle somewhere else. Besides, I found a "check engine light" sign on the dashboard that was not there before. How can you return a car to a customer with a check engine light on, and without any explanation? I refused to bring the car back to them because I know this is one of their habits, maybe to charge customers more. They also left a very sticky glu-like liquid on the car that could not be removed after I took the car to the car wash. Had to get it brushed (maybe I should say scratched off) by a car wash attendant. Needless to say, they did not deem necessary to clean the car before I picked it up. All that for a price I would not even want to say here. Please avoid! The government should really investigate these people, they have hurt too many customers.
