My wife got the credit card just to get tires. They they suggested doing other things now there's a loud clicking noise that they claim they don't hear. SMH. Terrible service don't go there
I experienced a mechanical issue while traveling on I-95 from Jacksonville FL to Palm Beach FL.
I pulled over in Titusville and went to Firestone Complete Auto Care.
It was after 6pm on a Friday night.
The manager, Dwayne Waugh, took my car right in and replaced a separated tire.
Dwayne and his crew were so friendly and professional.
I don't know what I would have done without them.
I purchased tire from Firestone because of their close location. I have a nail in a tire. My wife's car was totaled, leaving us with one vehicle. She needs 24 hour care since coming home. I've called two different locations asking if they could put on the spare, I'll leave the flat tire behind. Neither location could help. I'll be using another tire shop next time.
I took my car to the store located at 715 Merrick Ave Westbury, NY ******* because I had the ABS, TRAC, BRAKES, etc. lights on, as can be seen at the description I gave to the staff and it is clearly written on the invoice. They promised me if they replaced the alternator, all the lights would be turned off, but when I pick up the car and started all the lights were still on, one of the employees saw them and told me that they were going to check it again, then they call me back to say that they did not have the computer to reset the ABC, TRAC, etc... codes He says that I should take my car to the dealer. The question is, if they knew they didn't have the necessary equipment to reset those codes, why didn't they tell me from the beginning and instead they charged me for something they didn't fix? I approved the alternator change, of course! Their promise to me fix the lights changing the alternator, they said the lights would go out and that did not happen,
I have gone to Firestone in West Springfield, MA many times and had great customer service with pleasant and informative communication. Until 5/27/23 between 2:30-3:00pm. When I walked in and overheard the guy behind the desk and the man in front of me and how condescending this employee was to the customer. I felt so bad for this customer as he was not looking to happy on his way out. When I approached the desk and explained how I had been in a while ago and they put die in my air conditioning line to find the leek, and that next day I couldn't even keep the air conditioner on but thought maybe it was because it was not hot outside but now it's 80degrees it should work, right? The employee seemed like that was a stupid question and his personality and the way he talked to me was so unprofessional. I just asked if someone could just quickly check to see if maybe they forgot to adjust something back after having worked on it. Well I guess that irritated him more and his tone said it all. I turned and walked out. I am in shock! I will never go back their again! It has nothing to do with anything he said about my car, I will never go back because of his attitude and how he was so irritated by my question. I am sure there are so many more customers he was like that too. Please give him more customer service training with a good attitude because you are going to lose so many more customers!
I brought my car for diagnostic and when I read work order it stated I was 2 quarts low on oil. When I questioned it he told me I had oil leak. So, I called location where I had oil changed, but lady said technican didn't put in computer but wrote it on work order and didn't mention it to me. I know I didn't have oil leak when I brought car there. So I complained twice and it was supposed to be given to regional manager and I was supposed to give him 2 business. On both occasions 2 business days was given and no one reached out to me. Then, I need mechanical repairs I asked could I start on getting repairs. The man Kerry told me I should look into getting another car, but he put on work order I declined repairs. After I went to Goodyear and let them look at my car. They told me what needed to be repaired and said to start off the most important, and I wasn't told buy another car. If I could rate Firestone a zero I would the worst way to treat a customer. I might need repairs, but I know I didn't have oil leak!
I have been a Firestone customer for many years. A year ago I moved to another town and had to give up my usual Firestone place. About a year ago I had a flat tire and decided to try the Firestone in my new neighborhood. Service was subpar and the wait was brutal but I persevered. Last night (thursday) when I came home I discovered I had another flat tire. Immediately went online to schedule an appt. At Firestone to get a new tire. There was an opening for Saturday at 7 a.m. so I quickly took the spot! This morning (friday) I get a call at 9.05 from the Firestone on jog road in Greenacres, Fl. The guy says he got my appointment sees I need a tire replacement and asks me how many. I tell him I only need one tire due to a flat. The $#*! then turns around and tells me he cannot fit me in until 10:00. Seriously? I purposely scheduled an appt so I would not be a walk-in and I have to wait hours and because I did not need a set of 4 tires my appointment was not going to be honored? What kind of bull$#*! is that? I will never return to that location and will make sure all of my friends and neighbors no longer go there. What gall they have to turn you away from an appointment because it was an inconvenience and I guess an oil change customer is more important!
No sweat I found another shop a few minutes further away that is glad to take my business! The firestone corporation should know what kind of scum they are franchising to!
My experience with Firestone was not a good one. I dropped my car off to be checked out to due to the check engine light and the ABS light coming on. I received a work order with no information on it along with a voicemail asking me to call their facility for an update. I called and the employee kept putting me on and off hold while trying to figure out who to talk to for the mechanic. They decided to talk to me after the third time of taking me off hold and read the mechanic's notes. The employee gave me minimal information except that "there was nothing that they could do" and told me to have a nice day. I called back again a few hours later to inquire about an update again and the next employee that I spoke to condescendingly reminded that I already called for my update. I had to explain that I got zero information the first time. The second employee was very snippy when explaining what they found was wrong with my vehicle. The claim was that there was a recall and "why should I have them fix it when a dealer could fix it instead". I was extremely discouraged and will not go back to Firestone after this experience.
Took car in for ac repair after I installed new condenser they called said it was bad 400 to replace and they tested it but then said evaporator was leaking but got home noticed condenser was not even hooked up. Asked them to look at muffler for leak they found nothing next day muffler shop down the street charged 80 to weld the needed repair. They jave no clue what they are doing and you cannot believe anything they tell you. Brice road columbus Ohio AVOID
I took my jeep in to have a blinker relay replaced. Instead they did something to a wire they said I must have kicked. There was no wire to kick. The blinker would work when you used the caution lights or hit the dash for a short period of time. I guess they made it work briefly while messing with it but the next time I drove it, still no blinker. I took it back and their internet was down so they couldn't do anything for me. When i said it is the relay, (I have had relay issues in the past with other vehicles) the mechanic began to say how hard it would be to get to the relay, that he would have to replace the whole fuse box because the relay was inside of the fuse box. I knew he didn't know what he was talking about. Finally my son replaced the relay by removing the front panel under the steering wheel and reaching up and pulling out the relay. I then went back in and asked for a refund. They knew I was due a refund because the manager was in the store that day and the day I had it serviced and he said his mechanic didn't know what he was talking about. That was Feb. 14,2023. It is March the 14,2023 and still no refund returned to my bank card. I called Firestone customer service and got another runaround. I will never use Firestone again for the reasons I stated above.
I would rate them 0, however that was not an option, so in order to leave a review I had to give it a 1.
I brought my car in for an oil change, then returned with an oil leak - they "fixed" the leak for no charge stating that the oil filter had been improperly installed. I returned back again telling them that the car was not running as it had prior to the leak and expressed grave concerns about my engine. I was told there was no issue. After this my engine seized and upon inspecting the car to see what the problem was, there was almost no oil left in the car. I opened a claim and my claim was denied - citing a recall from the manufacturer - after responding to the claim advisor's denial of liability email, I advised that the recall in question had been resolved in 2017 - I got no response back. I called and called for 2 weeks and have yet to be able to speak to anyone out side of customer service. I was a customer for 10+ years... NEVER AGAIN!
I went onLine at 10:00 a.m. today to make a 2:00 p.m. appointment for the same day. I read that if something came up and they could not keep the appointment that they would either send me a text message or an email. I went ahead and got to the location at about 1:35 I knew I was early but there's usually a line so I waited through the line and about 1:50 I got up to the counter and I told the person behind the counter that I had at 2:00 appointment he immediately said oh well there's quite a long wait. I said well I made it 2:00 appointment so that I wouldn't have to wait that long. He said well we're running behind we only have two technicians. I said then why didn't you send me a text message or an email letting me know that it was going to be a longer wait time and then I might not have just showed up here I might have tried to make another appointment. He said well unless it was on the website at 6:00 a.m. then I haven't looked at it again I said well that is your fault then because you should be looking at that thing. Periodically and keeping up with people's appointments and whether or not you're going to make that appointment time or if it's going to be late. He said well there's going to be quite a wait I said well okay is it going to be more than 2 hours and he says yes it's going to be more than 2 hours. I said well that's ridiculous then why do people make appointments. I got upset and I walked out the door then when I got to my car I decided I wanted the corporate office phone number cuz I was going to make a complaint his customer service skills sucked. He answered the phone and I asked him for the corporate office number and he immediately told me that I could come in tomorrow morning if I wanted and I said no I made the appointment for today which means I wanted to come in today. He says oh well I'm sorry I said yeah you are sorry and your customer service skills suck and I'm still going to call and report you and this location. He said okay have a nice day. I then got on the phone and called the location in San Marcos Texas and told them what happened he said I could come in as a walk-in and I would probably have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for my car to go back and I said that's fine. I got there, and the ladies behind the desk were very friendly and helpful. They ended up taking my car back an hour later and when my car was ready they told me everything that was wrong with it which was basically nothing everything is in good shape and they changed my oil. I will never go back to the location and kyle. They can kiss my butt..
Firestone said they worked on Lexus cars all the time. So, I took car in for them to replace the starter. After getting the car back, it made a whining noise. Afraid to drive it, I had it towed to Firestone. They said it was the power steering pump. They replaced it. Got the car back, whining was worse than before. Had it towed back to Firestone. They said it was the alternator. Replaced it. Car continued to whine. They said they didn't know what was wrong - for us to take it to the Lexus and they would "make it right." Their words. Lexus said the Firestone mechanic used after market parts and the power steering pump was installed incorrectly and it was leaking fluid badly. The after market high pressure line was installed incorrectly and the support mounts were not even used! I went back to Firestone and asked them to fix the car - or pay Lexus to fix it. They wanted to give my money back - that's all. I contacted Consumer Affairs in Tennessee - just want to give my money back. I've spent 2 months without a car that's not drivable. Now I have to go small claims court and see if I can get a judge to force them to fix the car they messed up. The car is sitting in my driveway and I can't even sell it in the condition its in. Run from Firestone! They are arrogant and feel they are above doing what's right for the consumer! I hope this review saves someone from a bad mistake by trusting their car to a Firestone shop.
This firestorm Hickory Hollow location should not desire any star at all. The worst service I ever have. Maintenance for my car including axis and brake, after 3 week and I drive on highway on the back home. The car was cracking noice. Stay in Clarksville one night and Clarksville location find out the Hickory Hollow installation had not done correctly and I could be dried on highway if I am in middle somewhere and the car can not stop. Supposedly Hickory Hollow should call me what is everything happening and how to take care. They never did and not helping on what they did. Can not reach the manager all the time and employee can not get the manager as well. Poor service and worst management service center I never had.
Firestone in Somersworth New Hampshire is really bad. Customer service is a nightmare. This guy Patrick who think he is an absolute. This guy Patrick think this is his Mom and Pap personal own store. John and the others are great guys that Patrick got to go.
Had a lot of trouble with my brakes. The manager Paul and Brandon were very nice. They really cared about me and my brakes. They tried everything they know to fix my brakes. They finally came to the conclusion that there was more problem's that were going on. They recommend I take it back to Kia and see why they can't be fixed. Paul gave me a refund because they were not able to fix them. They store is off Cherry Ln in Fort Worth
