I've been a long-time customer of Fired Earth, but my recent experience has been incredibly disappointing. After my shower valve failed (albeit after many years) and I had a heavily leaking shower, I faced significant delays in getting a replacement. Fired Earth's manufacturers seem to go out of business a lot, or at least they give this as a reason for their inefficiency. Despite my repeated communications, the lack of urgency and care for the damage caused by the leak has been incredibly frustrating. Their customer service was slow to respond and didn't prioritise the urgent nature of my situation. The leaking valve has caused ongoing damage and mould, which is particularly concerning with young children in the house. It's disrupted our daily routines and added stress to our living environment. The manager Colin stopped responding to my emails. Their departments are disjointed and there seems to be a big disconnect between them. Their delivery department is clueless. Once you've bought from Fired Earth, nobody cares anymore and 'computer says no'. If you're looking for a luxury brand with reliable aftercare support, I would suggest exploring other options.
Rubbish paint! After three coats of pain my cabinet is still streaky and looks a complete mess! My bathroom cabinet is a very expensive unit and I have now messed it up completely. Can a representative of Fired Earth please contact me. R350-00 down the drain plus the cost to replace my bathroom cabinet. Please phone *******962 urgently.

Who took my order, Sahra, she was very courteous, and helpful. In regards to what the whole country is going through! To say that, we are stressed out. Is an understatement! But the whole process was handled in a very friendly and lovely manner. I will be recommending Fired Earth. To all of my family, and friends. The customer was great.
Ordered some hall tiles - had a professional builder to install them as instructed, but they stain terribly and look really dirty all the time.
I complained but they wont have anything to do with it
Fired earth customer services is dreadful. They will not take any responsibility for misleading customers or damage caused through their poor product knowledge and advice. They take the easy route and blame installation. After that they simply stop communicating leaving customers thousands of pounds out of pocket! I have always been a loyal customer of Fired Earth and spent thousands decorating my home with their products. NEVER AGAIN... DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM... THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IF IT GOES WRONG
They very nice and helpful at the sales point. But when things started going wrong on their side, there practically was no 'Customer service' as such. Loss incurred £550 and although it was a manufacturing fault, Fired Earth refused to change or compensate for the tiles.
Therefore I advise 'keep away' fron this company, we had a quite bad and stressful experience!
Bought over £3,000 of tiles, grout, adhesive and tile sealant. Was told I needed 10 litres of sealant costing about £35 per litre and most importantly that I could return any unused sealant. Delivery of my order was 3 weeks later than initially promised, meaning that I lost my slot for the tilers until after Christmas. We actually required less than 1 litre of sealant. The tiles would not absorb any more (crackle glaze). I tried to return 9 litres of unused sealant (over £300) in January. The shop tried to claim I was lying, 10 litres of sealant should be required for crackle glaze tile (the a manageress claimed to have had personal experience of the volume of sealant absorbed by that type of tile). They tried every argument to avoid a refund. A huge argument in the shop to get a refund - I refused to leave the shop until they refunded me for the returned unused sealant (6 days outside their 14 day returns policy, NB they had told me on the phone they accepted that the delay over Xmas was thier fault and i could return unused product at any time) Eventually, after 45 mins argument (and three customers walking out of the shop because of the argument) they agreed a refund. The last straw was the shop manageress ( Cambridge branch) saying this is a one-off, we won't do this again. Never ever buy anything from Fired Earth. Great tiles but they are dishonest and the customer service is non existent. I relate this shocking experience so that you can avoid it by avoiding Fired Earth and especially their Cambridge branch.
