Hacked Order
March 18, 2020

I only received the tree, which may die in shock. And I did not receive any of the other 3 items on my order.

I ordered the tree a few weeks ago. It took 3 days for the order to process. It then took 2 weeks for the shipping to process. Tree arrived 3 days after original date. I don't know if this was due to fast growing trees or shipping company.
Tree arrived looking healthy with planting and care instructions. Other than the delay between process email and actual delivery I'm very satisfied.

Stick
March 16, 2020

So I ordered two 4-5 foot mimosa trees. They arrived in a timely manner as I paid for shipping. However when I opened the box to my surprise I received a stick. The branches had been cut off. So now in my yard I have a stick planted with no progress since planting. When emailed back from them the response was, trees lose their branches and leads during dormant time of the year. Are you freaking kidding me, trees lose their BRANCHES. I paid for trees not a stick. I would NOT recommend this company. Go to Pike Nurseries, they have wonderful trees and just as well priced, plus they guarantee for life!

We have reached out privately to help explain a little bit about your tree as Mimosa's drop branches as well as leaves. We're so sorry for any confusion about this!

Shane's Trees
March 16, 2020

I received two boxes containing plants. Once box contained two persimmon trees. The box should have been shipped horizontal based on the placement of the trees; however, it was delivered vertical (although the tag said "this side up"). One of the tree's root ball was greatly disturbed and all the soil was displaced. I planted both trees within 30 feet of each other and the one that was not disturbed is blooming; however, the other is not. I plan on giving the second one a few more days to see if it blooms before contacting the company. The other box contained 23 tri colored dappled willow shrubs and looked like it was handled roughly. 5-6 of the willows were greatly disturbed with soil spilling from the pot. I placed those in a particular section of my yard and they appear to be struggling; however, the others that were not disturbed appear to be healthy. I think the rough treatment of the shipping may impact a few of the plants... we will see over the next few days if they begin budding...

So far, so good
March 11, 2020

Arrived in decent shape & the size advertised. They are dormant right now, but the trees I've received in the past have done well, except for one.

NOT fast growing
February 17, 2020

Almost two years now since I purchased a couple of fruit trees. Paid what i felt was a premium price but there are no reputable nurseries within reasonable distance. Yes, both trees are still alive but look EXACTLY the same as received. They haven't grown at all and remain in a dwarf-type state. If I didn't know better I'd swear they were plastic. Both trees were planted per instructions. They have been adequately fed and water religiously. So very disappointed. Customer service disappears as soon as order is received. They only promise the plants will "live". End of warranty.

Do not buy from them!
January 7, 2020

I have purchased for years from the company, many, many trees worth thousands of dollars and was happy. You pay a premium price, in fact, you go to other retail stores you will pay a lot less, the trees are way overpriced, however, I liked the service and quality. This time, I had purchased several trees worth $ 300 and they arrived in bad condition. The pine trees are brown and yellow on top, the palm trees are brown on the edges. They would not take care of it and refused to handle this. I cannot plant such trees in such bad condition. I contacted them two days after shipment. They falsely claimed that the trees would magically turn green after planting, which is an insult on my intelligence. I am very disappointed by this company and will never purchase these overpriced trees again! I

Poor Service
November 7, 2019

I've been a customer with FGT for several years and up till this year have been happy with them. This year it all has changed I have sent in a concern that I was shipped the wrong trees and included a couple of pictures with it. I received a response that they wanted more pictures so I replied with more pictures and have not received a response back. They do not seem to honor their commitment which disturbs my very much. The two photos are what I received which were supposed to be "Thuja Green Giants" and the single photo with the 3 trees are the "Thuja Green Giant" trees that I purchased 2 years ago.

The tree was not as advetised
November 1, 2019

1) was suppose to get free shipping I didn't
2) Your web site kept talking about fruit trees that produce right away, no way with this little tree.
3) was suppose to be a big healthy tree, I got a 3 foot long twig that lost most of it's the leaves, and small growth limbs that were on it after I planted it. It come back somewhat this year and got a bout a foot taller. But it will be years before I see any fruit on this tree.
4) I could have got a bigger, fuller, better tree at Home Depot for 35 dollars rather then the hundred I wasted on this one.

This "tree" after 2 years of nurturing, even transplanting, and careful sheltering, is half its original height, languishing, into a barely alive stub. What a ripoff! Air-layering was not only a bad idea but completely unsuccessful. FastGrowing Trees.com is a total ripoff. Stay away from this flimflam company!

Don't buy the fruit cocktail tree!

The grafted in branches died pretty quickly and I was left with the peach only. Then the tree died, it didn't even live a year.

Trees arrived and while they technically met the specifications, the quality seemed suspect. Now, after just over a year all but one have died ( We received over 30 total).
