Very pleased with customer svc, ordered a Granny Smith apple tree. Once I rcvd it, I noticed that on the tree tag it was a Gala not a Granny Smith. I emailed customer svc along with a pic of tree/label and they sent me a Granny Smith free of charge and said I could donate or keep the Gala.
Although I've not placed an order from FGT, I have used the site for knowledge. I was planning on making a large order, however, after reading reviews from people who have ordered, not sure now if i'm interested. Appears most complain about your Customer Service and warranties or guarantees on the products.
SCAMMED! Paid for a gallon pot of lavender and received a gallon of dirt with a small sprig of lavender inside. Customer service tells me they cannot guarantee size of plant. WILL NOT buy there again!
This was the 2nd time in less than 60 days that I purchased plants and they sent me a sub-par plant. The first time, the lavender plant was out of stock so issued store credit. I waited a month for the lavender plant to come back in stock, purchased 8 plants, received 7 that looked great and 1 that was horrible and should never have left their warehouse. Again, the plants are now out of stock so I asked for a refund and instead of putting my refund on my credit card, they refunded my store credit. With my experience with this company at this rate I will never get to actually use the store credit because they will always send me bad plants, not be able to correct the problem and refund to store credit. I'll just shop somewhere else. It's not worth the hassle to deal with terrible customer service.
Ordered 18 - 5 gallon baby blue spruce trees. Suppose to be 30-36" Got 16 Baby blue trees in burlap delivered in 4 different shipments.? Any where from 14" to 19".? Called and asked for my other 2 trees, which they sent, the other 2 trees arrived in 5 gallon buckets. Which are 27"? Did I even get the right first 16 trees? That are 14-19" I don't think so, more like 1 gallon in burlap! Let alone the boxes they were shipped in, looked like they had been thru a war zone! Not a happy camper here!
Received 3 spring snow crabapple trees in 3 boxes in good condition.
Each tree had one broken branch, but don't believe will hurt anything.
I planted all 3 within 2 hours, and are everything I hoped for.
Great price and shipping went smooth. The trees have turned brown in some areas with frequent watering. Will have to see if the trees grow, if they do 5 star experience
I purchased 5 trees from here in April so they could be planted in the spring. The trees were on the high end of the price scale so I got on the live chat. I was assured that these trees would be able to grow and produce fruit rather quickly (3-5 years) and that's why so pricey. When I opened the boxes, both of the apple trees did not have leaves and all three of the Bartlett pear trees had leaves the were black around the edges. Again I was in contact with live chat to work on a remedy for the trees. I have been able to get three out of the five trees to thrive and leaf out. For the price of these trees, I would not expect to be working this hard at keeping them alive. I live on a farm and know that growing plants and trees is difficult work, but I was given substandard trees to work with

My palm trees look fantastic! But I was concerned about my wisteria tree. It took awhile, but now it looks great!
I ordered trees in February to show up in early April. They didn't arrive until June and it's too hat and dry to plant them now. I'll have to keep them alive in pots until fall or next spring. Trees were kind of beat up on arrival but I'll nurse them and see what happens.
My apricot tree arrived, seemingly fine. I followed the instructions and planted it within a few days, with the burlap bag it came with around the roots. I planted it with a high-nitrogen fertilizer, watered, etc. it did not grow, the leaves dried and fell off, and this week the branches snapped, confirming it is dead.
I will definitely be ordering again! The quality of my plants and trees are great and healthy! I had a problem with the delivery of 2 trees coming broken from the delivery company and customer service was great in rectifying it! I Love this company!

I received a beautiful & lively blueberry plant. It seemed to have very slight root damage on one side. Other than that, it seemed perfect. My rusty thumb stuck again - although my wife & I followed FGT's planting directions - and it seems to not be doing so well. Hopefully, we will try again, sometime soon. It must be said that we first placed it in a large container - to put it on our deck - but he concerned about the rushing rainwater that would pound it during the frequent storms we have here. Therefore, we decided to transplant it to the yard, where it is now.
I have purchased several trees from Fast Growing Trees and have had wonderful experiences. They are always shipped and package so they arrive protected and without damage. They have all been very healthy and every bit as tall as described in the advertising. After planting, they have leaked out well and taken hold and grown quickly. I have been very pleased.

I recently ordered some plants ( 6) that I was looking forward to planting this spring. The boxes had minor bruising but no damage. The boxes measured 48x10x10 and was banded together.
There were 3 plants in each box, wrapped with brown paper around them and sealed. My problem:: Upon opening the boxes, I found that there was insufficient packing to keep the plants in place. There was soil that spilled out of some of the plants, the plants themselves had broken stems and leaves. Out of the six plants I've checked, two plants had three to four stems left on them. The other four
Plants faired a bit better— more then eight stems left on each plant. ( Black Eyed Susan) My beef- Have suitable boxes for two or more plants and secure plants with proper packing material to keep from moving around during shipping.

I wanted to give less stars but in fairness three is the number today. The price was very good with the discounts. The product quality seems good. The customer service stinks. First both parts of my order weee late. They sent one email to let me know that went to spam which is not their fault. When the product was shipped I received an email the same day it was coming. If it is important to get the product planted than why would you not send a email five days prior and three days prior. I was away the product arrived with same day notice. Had to ask someone to help me get the product moved out of the sun in the box. I also wanted to change my order after placing it and was told system does not allow changes. If the product was not being shipped for weeks one idea could be void the order and have me place a new one. When the second part of my order did not show up on time I started a chat with them. Was told an email was sent that I could not find but order was delayed until week of June 16th. It arrived the next day without notice. It is June 5th. I have screenshots of the chat. Overall I would not use this service again as I value service and being treated as a valued customer more than price only.
I purchased a FlashFire Maple but it arrived not in very good shape. I contacted Support and they gave me some tips to try. It didn't work and the tree was dead. A replacement tree was sent that arrived in good shape. I planted it and it is doing quite well. Thanks.

Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
