I ordered Magnolias, hydrangeas, a weeping willow, and Thuja Green Giants. The hydrangeas were dead on arrival. The magnolias are less than a half inch in diameter and not healthy looking. The weeping willow is tall but also maybe 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The Thuja Green Giants were fine. They were the only ones that met my expectations. Delivery also took 2-3 months.
The trees arrived quickly. Planted them in a decent area with decent soil and the right amount of sun / shade. Watered every day. In the end they died.
Trees arrived dead. Could not plant them due to HOA regulations. Reached out to customer support; Fast growing Trees takes no responsibility in the condition of the Trees. $200 lesson learned and I will never purchase from FGT again.
Almost dead order, leaves falling off, terrible packaging
We purchased two avocado trees and they looked great right out of the box. Clearly there was a lot of time spent packaging the trees that looked great and were very well protected in the box. We've had them for 2 months and they are thriving.
I turned to fast growing trees because I wanted items not locally being sold. Rosemary plants seem to have disappeared from local places. Also the fig I bought was very healthy. I did buy a camellia sinensis previously that almost died but it was purchased later in the growing season and wasn't quite cold hardy and should have wrapped it in some burlap to keep the cold wind from damaging it. It's recovered this season however and doing better.
It's probably very hard to ship plants. The two out of the three I bought did not make it. Customer service has encouraged that I wait a little bit longer to see if it will be OK. It definitely is not going to make it.
I have purchased a couple trees/bushes from this company. My lemon bush produced fruit the second year and we're getting even more lemons this year. I'm looking forward to getting some blueberries next year. I will definitely purchase more trees from this company in the future
Trees arrived looking very healthy. Would definitely buy from them again.
I have ordered several times and the trees are always delivered it great shape and delivered quickly! If you need trees and don't want to leave your house, this is a great service to use!
I ordered 2 peach trees last season and was delighted by the experience. Unfortunately, one of the peachies didn't take. Fast Growing Trees stood by their guarantee and sent us another peach tree within a couple days!
Trees that I have purchased are in great shape, packaged well, (even if the box is destroyed by the shipping partner during transport). I follow the planting directions and all have rebounded and grown substantially.
Ordered 3 trees and two bushes now months later still have not received the bushes. Nothing on site said my bushes would be delayed. No email saying anything had to email customer support to find out they were backordered.
Since you asked: I purchased trees at full price, and literally two days later, before I even received or delivered them, they were significantly discounted. I reached out to ask if they'd honor the new price. Most companies would, but they didn't. Needless to say, the trees were planted and cared for but haven't grown. I know there's a guarantee, but at this point it doesn't feel worth pursuing. It feels a bit scummy to re-engage just to chase a discount or a make-good when they had the opportunity to do the right thing from the start. It's clear they want my business, but the experience left a bad taste.
Ordered meters lemon tree. Very nicely wrapped and secure. Looks extremely healthy. The only pet peeve I have is they forgot to put it in a pot. The soil and root was tied in a plastic bag without the pot.
I ordered 10 trees and five peonies. Three of the trees and one peony arrived significantly damaged by FedEx. This, clearly, is not the company's fault - these things happen. When I attempted to contact their customer service, however, is when the problems began. First of all, you cannot call and speak with anyone, it must be conducted online. I'm a millennial, it's cool, I can do that. They were sold out of two of my items and offered me a store credit which was insufficient to repurchase *either* of the items, and reshipped two of the items (for the sake of clarity, a maple and a cherry). Except they reshipped the items to themselves (items were delivered to South Carolina; I live in Indiana) and then told me the maple was now sold out and unavailable to be reshipped (can't you just ship me the tree you delivered to yourself? No, apparently not). I asked for the maple to be replaced with another, less expensive tree, which they told me was impossible per their policies. Imagine my surprise when FedEx delivered (intact this time, thanks!) two cherry trees. Meaning, they replaced my maple with a cherry - supposedly impossible. Bizarrely, the tree they duplicated was more expensive than both the maple and the tree I asked for it to be replaced with. I've exchanged a total of 20 emails with their customer service and at this point it feels like I would be better off burying myself in the hole I dug for the tree I'm never going to get. In the end I got a partial refund which was not enough to replace any of the trees or plants by themselves.

Fast Growing Trees provides extremely well organized information about their plant options. Once you've ordered what you want, the plants arrive in ingenious packaging. All the plants I've purchased (6 hydrangeas, 6 double knockout roses, 2 sedum) were very healthy and have all flourished. I appreciate the follow-up e-mails with growing guides specifically for your plants. Ive referred to them a few times to make sure I'm on the right track. After 7 weeks my hydrangeas are already blooming! My family called me the black thumb of the family because I routinely killed cacti. Not any more!
You sent me a twig not even in a pot with wet mud in 90 degree weather--no idea if this will even survive. Saundra Friedman. It was an anniversary present for my children and very disappointing.
Answer: Cancel your order now before it's too late, go to a local nursery and save yourself some money and unwarranted aggravation, these folks are not honorable.
Answer: I ordered 3 autumn blaze maples. They have been in the ground for 2 years now and have yet to turn red in the fall. I did some research and found that they only turn red if the temperature conditions are right. I live in Idaho and we basically skipped fall this year and went straight into winter. So once again the leaves just turned brown. I am hoping to finally get a display next year.
Answer: The same thing is happening to me. My tree died and they keep saying they're going to make good and nothing happens. Real crooks, this company.
