So first off I tried to get a challenger everything was good but then car was sold. At least I was notified 10 hours before pick up. Next I went for a 2016 Ford Fusion eco boost. I can't fit a car seat in my mustang so here's the alternative. So everything is good. I contact dealer and arrange pick up time it's early then the guy works but he says he will be there early. I go to dealership and sign papers in 5 minutes ready to go. But a tire needs air in tire. So now I drive off on my 2 hour drive back home. About 30 miles in check engine light comes on. Another 50 miles tire pressure low. Come on ford. So I get brand new tires and check the code for the check engine light it's a bad cat. My dad changed cell phone is providers so I had to get my own. Problem is they can't change numbers on fair app. My dad used my upgrade and the owes 900 on an iPhone so I can't keep number. I have for about 8-9 months not been able to log on. I do my regular maintenance but need help with check engine light. I have emailed customer service and 10-15 times with no response also when I call they say they can't change the number. So what do I do? Besides that I got a car and it's amazing has all of the extras with some power.
The employees of Fair at the Oakland lot are nothing short of amazing. The customer service is out of this world and the Fair representative Fred is great
I wanted a convertible for the nice days here in central Texas and we needed a second car. I found a 2013 BMW 128i convertible on the app for $275 a month w/10k and $650 down. With the in house insurance and wear/tear coverage I pay $412 a month. The car performs well and it's fun to drive. I literally walked into the dealership
Do yourself a favor and don't get a car from Fair. They put me in a car with a bent rim
Very user friendly app with valuable assistance available at the touch of a finger
The customer service is horrible. Not only did it take 20 minutes to get someone on the line
The service was great. I've had my car since the beginning of January and I don't see myself returning any time soon.
Hey I mean it's good way to help out someone anyone anybody with the right intentions. But can't help those with a low or bad credit. I work with Uber I'm trying to get a car again to be back on the road and I really got shot down because of my credit. It is great this app is designed for both personal and rideshare use but it's not a helping hand to make you start again or fair enough to let everyone get a opportunity (bad credit) to try the platform. I mean at the end of the day both ends of the party is going to get money. Doesn't that sounds fair enough?
My experience with Fair so far has been a great one. I picked up my Jetta at the end of February 2019 and the experience at the Jetta dealership was smooth
The new app update is actually a step backwards in terms of interface. Bring back the previous categories
The first day I tried to get a car I got to the lot at 10am. I was 13th in line and only 5 cars were available. I got there at 6am the next day and was the first in line. I got a car but anybody that gets there after 8am (they open at 10:30) won't get a car
Because of the update I can't purchase my car through Fair it will not accept my bank debit card and the app does not have a link for me to attach my checking account. How long will this big take to fix.
I am college student and I found this app really useful when I was searching for my car because I had the freedom to exit out of it in a harsh situation. When I applied in only took my a few minutes and it was so easy to do the paperwork. The pick up day was also a smooth process
Not happy with this company at all. Customer service is extremely slow. Hold times are crazy. We were lied to about our payment. Gave the car back three weeks ago and are still being charged for the car. Our account has been overdrawn twice because of this. Have called twice and said it was fixed and should be refunded but still not fixed. How long does it take to close an account that some say is closed and others say it's not. We've been charged overdraft fees taken out and not refunding them either. Just not happy with that all! I would second guess getting a car with them. Only thing I would say is their staff is polite
I am looking for car for more then a week everytime I select a car when I go to booked it's shows not available. I never seen in my life this kind of undeveloped app in market I am a IT employee
I had poor results with their customer service and ended up finding a guy named Rob through Hyrecar out of San Diego that I dealt with and the situation turned out way better
I ran into a lot of bugs which probably won't happen to many people (some very ridiculous edge cases) but fair's teams really helped to fix them as quickly as possible. Haven't dealt with a team that worked as quickly as theirs in a while. Also
I have a bad experience with Fair since I'm not able to create a ride-share account due to a "glitch" in the system while they have a very responsive & great support team but with all due respect they're weak technically! It has been more than 3 weeks sending emails & chatting with them trying to solve the issue so i can use the app with no success! The last email i got from them last Friday and they stated that the problem affects only a certain percentage of people due to my bad luck and unfortunately they don't have a time frame when the glitch will be resolved which is in my opinion this considered as lack of support. I didn't even started to use the app and they're asking me to be patience until they sort out the problem. Mu advise is to hire technical people who can solve such issues faster specially when you don't have a functional website as alternative solution. Thanks.
Every time I check in with the app it's a complete wash to choose Fair over owning a vehicle if you're poor even with the prospect of vehicle maintenance."
Fair is a wonderful app that I found while trying to search for a alternative way to lease. I've had this car (2014 Audi) for the past two months and it's been wonderful. The process and paperwork was smooth and easy
Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
