First, I'll say that the glasses look great. Love the design and style. Unfortunately, that's where the good stuff ends. These glasses are supposed to have the anti-reflective coating on them and they are supposed to be Transitions brand photochromic lenses. I have to say that these are the absolute worst glasses I've ever owned in terms of reflections on the lenses. It's annoying and distracting to constantly have glare and reflections on my lenses and in my line of sight. This is my second pair of glasses with photochromic lenses. The first pair was about 8 years ago and the technology has evolved to make them transition faster. However, these lenses change so slowly that it makes me question whether they are legitimate Transitions branded lenses and not a cheap knock-off. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in these glasses and will not be a returning customer.

I ordered a pair of glasses, they didn't fit, so I ordered an exchange, guaranteed by the 22nd of December, which is when I am to leave the state permanently. No problems with two day shipping, except that I never received an order confirmation.
No confirmation means delays. I called customer support, they said they would get a confirmation right away, along with another promise of delivery by the 22nd. No such email arrived. Called again, was told the same thing and given the same promise. No email again. Once more, was told it was shipped. I would get the shipping confirmation right away.
Tomorrow, still no confirmation in my inbox. I call again, they tell me it's shipped and will arrive on the 22nd. Great! No confirmation email.
An email finally comes the next morning. The package is delayed, and will arrive after I leave the state on the 23rd. I call again to work something out.
I ask for a change of delivery, with the company covering the fees of the change. Not only will they not cover the fees, they aren't able to make a phonecall to UPS to change an order that hasn't left the post office yet. This information was spread over four phone calls as they were constantly disconnected.
Finally, after being on hold on different days with all of these inquiries for a total of five hours, I ask for a refund. More holds, they refuse to give me a written guarantee of the refund, and they still refuse to refund the shipping fee. No written refund guarantee and they won't give me anything until after the glasses are delivered.
Is a chance of this frustration worth your valuable time and hard earned money? Consider buying your glasses from any of the other online shops, all of which offer huge selection, quality product, and low prices.

Purchased 5 pairs over 3 years. Quality is good, not excellent. Lenses are always perfect. Offer some reasonably-priced lens coatings. Originally, customer service and website were great, but lately both have greatly degraded. Was overcharged and customer service basically called me a liar and i had to go through my credit card to get charges eliminated. NOT something a 4 star company makes a long time customer go through. If you don't pay for 2 day shipping, shipping and processing times are probably worst in the industry.

Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
