I've been very happy with Events & Adventures! In each of the 14 metro areas where they have a chapter, there's an event scheduled almost every day of every month, catering to a wide variety of interests. I attend about five to seven events each month in my local area, and might attend more if I had the time. I've also attended several events in other metro areas (when I was traveling to those areas for whatever reason). I've made numerous friends and acquaintances through the club.

I was a little scared and shy at first. Once I got the courage and attended a few events, I made a few new friends. As you attend more events you meet more people. Before you know it, every event you attend you will know someone.

I love that everyone is VETED and so I feel very safe. The new places I've discovered make this very fun. Love that I don't have to look for something to do... every day there is something to do. They make all the reservations... all you do is show up and have fun with great new friends.

It's a grand experience, meeting new like-minded people. You simply pay for the activities you're interested in and just show up. This removes the hard of hanging out as adults with different schedules. I haven't really met anyone that I've connected to, they're either much older than me, much younger or we're just connecting on a romantic level. The only reason I personally didn't give it 5 stars is the communication with our market manager. It's hit or miss and several people have mentioned similar problem surrounding the communication of them.
Otherwise I'm enjoying the club!

Joining Events and Adventures was one of the best decisions I have ever made! It has gotten me out of my house and trying new things. I never would have tried so many things that I have done with E&A. It is a great way to make new friends with local people. I can not talk it up enough.

Where I originally signed up. What's the aspect of singles attending events and possibly meeting each other. Originally, that was something I saw. Originally, there was a large variety of events spread throughout the DMV, now not so much. Most of the events I catered towards a virginia crowd and very few for individuals that live in d c or maryland. A lot of the hosts when describing the events are discouraging seeking the possibility of relationships due to their own experiences. It has more so turned into a glorified Friends/ make a friend meet up.

I love the trips and planning. It is very nice having everything set up so we just have to pay and have fun

Joining Events and Adventures is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Through the club, I have had the opportunity to go whitewater rafting, skiing in Lake Tahoe, combat archery, and too many other outings to count. I have met a large number of great individuals, and have had adventures of a lifetime.

I became an E&A member in 2021, because I was looking to do things in Denver with like-minded people and go on international trips. The monthly events continue to be fun and varied, there is something for everyone, I like attending trivia, brunches, dinners, hikes and disc golf events. The big events like New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, St. Patty's Day and Halloween are enjoyable and entertaining. The camping trips on Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend are fun too, I do not like sleeping in a tent, so I reserve a cabin with a bathroom and electricity. I have gone on 3 international trips. The internation trips are well planned, I feel safe on the trips. I know with confidence there is transportation arranged, and the hotels are exceptional.

This is clearly a community of friends and not just singles looking for partners. There is professional care in preparing each event. I've been with the club for about 2 months and nothing has WOWed me, and I'm still glad to be part of it.
I'm discovering activities in the city that I wouldn't have found on my own in meeting new people.

I have had so much fun trying new things and being connected with quality people. This club has been awesome.

I joined Events and Adventures many years ago as a lifetime member, not because I planned to be single for the rest of my life, but because it was a good deal, and it's been worth every penny. I was newly divorced and had no single friends, so I always felt like a fifth wheel. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! Not only have I enjoyed all the fun, interesting, and exciting events and trips, some that I didn't even know existed, I've met my best friends in the club. I've been fortunate to participate in many of their international trips and meet people from other clubs around the US and Canada, so I now have friends everywhere! All I have to do is look at our monthly calendar of events (sometimes even 2 a day to choose from) and trip offerings, choose what I want to do that fits into my schedule and budget, and show up. They do all the work! Another amazing thing is that there's new people at every event, so the more I go to, the more friends I make, and even though I didn't join specifically to date, I've had some great dates and relationship experiences that I never would have otherwise. What some people don't understand is that it is what you make it. You may not get along with every person you meet, but you keep showing up, putting yourself out there, and find the people and experiences you enjoy and make the best of it.

Events and Adventures handles all the details. All you have to do is logon, look at the calendar of events, decide which ones you want to attend, sign up and show up! There's dining (casual and fine,) Athletic (various skill levels,) Travel (domestic & international) and so much more. Mingle with other singles - make friends - get out of the house and DO SOMETHING! I've got memories I never would have had if I hadn't joined E&A.

Good variety of options. Events can be pricey and locations are not always convenient for those that live in the suburbs. I'm very disappointed in this as when I was "interviewed" two years ago I was told that events are all over southern NH and eastern MA. What I am seeing and hearing now is that this is Boston proper focused, which leaves out a whole bunch of us. The good news is I've made a wonderful group of friends through E&A and we are able to do our own thing as a group in locations more convenient to where we all live.

My year and a half I have been a member and I have enjoyed the events I attend and I have made great friends along the way.

Exorbitant membership fees and then they charge extra for most events and up charge whenever they feel like it. Venues are garbage. Don't waste your money!

"Where there is smoke there likely is fire" is as applicable to Events & Adventures as one could sadly imagine. You might want to carefully heed serious caution and reconsider going into any type of business arrangement with this incredibly inadequate and financially fraudulent company. Take the time to closely read up on E&A's Better Business Bureau report (it's filled with quite disturbing warnings) as well as the number of class action lawsuits filed against them over the last few years, if you'd like to spare yourself the headache of "getting in bed" with them. To say "E&A is beyond incompetent from the top down and should not exist as a business" is putting it in extremely gentle language for you. Good luck and please take the time to find the RIGHT company for your in-person social networking fun, regardless of your age. E&A does not deliver quality services and knowingly loses no sleep about screwing its customers over. Don't say you missed all the huge red flags about them. A fraudulent business through and through.

Be aware that Events & Adventures is a scam! They use high-pressure sales tactics to push you into signing up for their service. During a video call, they misrepresent what they offer and gather all your personal data and information. Before you realize what's happening, you are on the hook for over $2000.

The experience begins with a sales pitch that makes the service sound appealing and exclusive. However, the reality is far different from what is promised. Once they have your information, they quickly lock you into a costly contract. Many customers have reported feeling misled and trapped by the aggressive sales approach and the deceptive practices used by Events & Adventures.

Not only do they fail to deliver on their promises, but they also make it difficult to cancel or get a refund. The company's lack of transparency and dishonest methods have left many feeling frustrated and scammed. If you come across Events & Adventures, proceed with extreme caution or, better yet, avoid them altogether. Save yourself the time, money, and stress of dealing with a company that prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.

Don't do it. It's over priced and most people aren't who they say they are. They also threaten to report you to credit bureau and don't let you opt out of a $2000 a year membership after 3 days and it's truly not worth the cost

They promised lots of events and showed me a fictional calendar during my interview. After 2 years of membership, I was never able to attend a single event: There were only 2-3 per week on the calendar they actually had on the app, and they were always full. I recommend against it. They do not provide what they promise.
